Do you have any means of checking your blood pressure? If it's bloody and frothy you might need to go to hospital.
No. I called NHS 24 but they just lolled at me and told me to phone the GP tomorrow.

I went to the hospital and left a urine + blood sample, but they didn't have a lab on site so I don't know exactly what I had, haven't called to check. CRP was around 60 I think, the doctor just told me to take Bactrim for a week and it should be good. Kidneys started aching progressively over Monday but woke up feeling a lot better Tuesday morning already.
Antibiotics are always warranted for UTIs regardless.

How many KG for the squat?
I was once in a public toilet where somebody had clearly shat in a urinal so God knows what people are getting up to in the privacy of their own home.
How many KG for the squat?
2x bodyweight to ensure a clean and powerful release.
I went to the loo before football training the other day and it was one of those "how the fuck did you do this" type of shit. Literally lipped the bottom end of the seat and smeared all the way down into the bowl. Clearly they thought that was fine and left it at that, probably still caked in shit.

Leaking or dripping taps can be a serious issue in daily life. Not only do they produce an annoying sound, but the leaking can also result in wastage of 3 gallons of water every day. One day, you’ll realise your water bills are rising and what you are paying for is simply draining out. Repairs might involve some up-front expenses but save you money in the long run. If you have some handyman skills, you can fix the dripping tap yourself. This blog post is for all of you who wish to fix this maintenance issue on their own.

I really only amuse myself on here, in the real world I refuse to talk about covid. Both the NSW and Federal Liberal Party (and the media both mainstream and Murdoch) are all responsible for the current state of things.
When Labor gets in next year they will without a doubt push for a Royal Commission into the Liberal Party's handling of the current outbreak.
I also don't believe in zero covid we should open up forever after the acceptable amount of people have been vaccinated.

Just flown to London for a wedding this weekend, then had a phone call from girlfriend's brother to say he's tested positive today after we saw him yesterday.
I'm double jabbed, she's not. Is she supposed to shack up in a hotel for a week? :cab:

The contact rules are different now aren't they? i.e. she can do lateral flows and it's alright if she's negative. In England, anyway, which you are now in.
Or do you have to be double jabbed for that?

PCR tests if you are self-isolating as a contact
If your PCR test result is negative, you should still stay at home and self-isolate to avoid putting others at risk, unless you are not required to do so. This is because you could still become infectious during the 10 day isolation period.
"Should" is weaker than "must", but it's about as clear as mud.

From what I've seen on Reddit a lot of people are pretty angry with the Greens at the moment so I'd expect a change in the next election. It's a great city but it depends what you're looking for. It's very friendly and an amazing night out, but it's run down, expensive and has a seedy underbelly that gets ignored. It's basically a city trying to be a festival.

Portsmouth is also a bit similar. It's the most densely-populated city in the country, and the locals would rather die than ever leave it, so they all live in crummy terraced houses with a downstairs bathroom and damp problems, and then the 'posher' areas are full of people/pensioners who can't afford to maintain their now very expensive houses (and who prevent any more ever being built). It's basically Hull/Southend with a defence sector and a bit of money dribbling in from the Home Counties, but everyone here thinks it's amazing for some reason.

Southend is a bit like that, although for the most part people hate it and White Flight seems to be increasing as London Councils continue to kick the homeless / people with housing needs as far down the nearest trainline as possible.
What you're describing is pretty much what Southend used to be though and I loved the place as a kid (again 'for some reason')

This.
I really fucking hate littering.
Once, some hipster friends of a friend asked me after lunch if I wanted to join them on a picking litter across town expedition. I politely declined.
There’s some sad cunt where I live who goes out everyday litterpicking and posting what he finds on Facebook. Literally everyday. I went through a spell of replying to his posts with ‘report this on the council app and they’ll send someone out to clear it’ but he went from ‘I shouldn’t have to’ to just ignoring me. Definitely takes pleasure in rifling through other peoples rubbish and/or hanging around kids playgrounds “litter picking,” the dirty nonce.

So you know how Euro 2020's kinda been credited for the earlier spike in infections? With the football leagues being back to full capacity, that's going to cause a much more consistent problem, right?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/58284983
But data for the Euro 2020 final shows 2,295 people at or near Wembley were likely to have already been infected, while another 3,404 potentially acquired Covid-19 around the event.
So that's probably 9% of the attendance. That's a chunk. I know 'around the event' can cover pub staff, tube staff, etc but that's still something to think about now mass events are a nationwide thing.

Hastings isn't so bad. Although I did write off a convertible audi tt on my way down there once. Crashed outside a garden centre and the air bags went off, which turned on the car horn constantly. So all of the garden centre customers and workers came out to have a look. Quite a surreal moment being watched by a load of people whilst I'm trying to get my (now) ex girlfriend to stop crying. She was suffering from minor woman's whiplash.
The old couple who caused the crash lied about who was driving; I think the lady had been on the sauce. A fire engine, police and road closure later meant we had pissed a lot of people off travelling to Hastings for the day.

Lol @
In recent weeks since the rise of the B.1.617.2 variant, all Delta employees who have been hospitalised with Covid were not fully vaccinated.
Call it the Delta variant, bitch

Who is our COVID/vaccine expert at the moment? I wouldn't say I'm fully recovered yet (only really tiredness and shortness of breath atm) and they're trying to jab me for the second time tomorrow. Surely I'll have some natural immunity built up to at least tide me over until the new year?

Don't they ask you at the vaccination centre whether you have recently had covid? [I assumed the point of this question is that they don't jab you if you have]
I'm sure I read something earlier that the clotting events were about as common in the Pfizer as in AstraZeneca which is quite funny if true.
It's not madness. We give the young vaccines all the time.
Re the covid second jab. I think they recommend waiting something like 30 days between having it before having the vaccine. The vaccine gives you better coverage of all variants so it's worth having even if you have had covid.

Yeah, I don't think it makes sense to go till I'm clear of symptoms so I've cancelled.

With 130 dead and another 30,000+ cases today I fear the clamour for more utterly pointless restrictions is going to grow somewhat over the next few days/weeks.

Not a coincidence when you see how bad BREXIT is shitting on us.

I was just about to post that seeing a hundred people dying a day and nobody (other than the professional cranks) giving a shit is great to see and where we want to be.
Unless a variant pops up that the vaccine is totally ineffective on, I can't see any new restrictions ever coming in.

They absolutely shouldn't, but at this point (winter is coming), who the fuck knows.

I don’t think you’ll need the second one yet. I’d discuss it with your doctor if possible and get their opinion but I’d expect they’d want you to fully recover first.

Having a stage 3 case of being a mong.
What are the reasons for not having the jab?The only reason not to get the vaccine is if you have covid, or have had it within the past 28 days. Literally everyone else not getting it is a moron.
The case numbers are going off the chart in the next fortnight thanks to this weekend. Schools reopening soon too, ya? :harold:

With confirmation that the vaccine protection starts to wane after 6 months, I hope all you cucks are looking forward to getting your booster jabs in the near future.
And in turn killing a load of people in developing countries who need it more.

Why wouldn't you? Not that I think they'll be forthcoming for the lower risk categories. Also not surprising that you would be incapable of understanding the 'waning immunity' story beyond being able to read the headline (kudos on that).

So you believe in the benefits of the vaccination program then?

Aggro isn't it. And if you're offering booster jabs to the frail then this first phase of jabs demonstrates that the boosters will also need to be given to the remainder of the adult population.
And what is there not to understand? The vaccine wanes. It doesn't go to zero, but it's effectiveness reduces. Nothing startling about that.

Are the Taliban immune to Covid no masks no social distancing? I'm amazed their ranks have not been decimated from it.
Australia doing its best to make China blush and reverting back to its former penal colony status.
I love seeing the "done my research" talking points come into the forum like the taliban one above. Who knows how many people in Afghanistan have had covid or impacted by it? It's not the most advanced nation so unlikely to have the ability to test and treat people.
Or maybe covid is just made up.
