But carers and health workers are being prioritised to protect the people they care for, not to protect them per se. I understand why they keep schools open when there isn't so much virus about (like in September), but at this particular juncture it seems to me a complete no-brainer to shut them down for a month, go to online learning (which happened in April so there must be a setup/plans for it, even if it means a degree of farting about) and see if that helps.
