I was thinking goals by teenagers where Brighton led the league by miles, U21 a bigger field obviously.

Saka, Rashford, Martinelli.

Sterling?

Lukaku?

Mason Greenwood maybe? And of course his colleague in the footballing and raping worlds, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Martinelli was last season and Saka the season before. Lukaku did it in consecutive seasons at different clubs (WBA and Everton). Ronaldo was a little older once he started banging them in.

Dele Alli
Gabriel Jesus
Gabby Agbonlahor
Daniel Sturridge
Arjen Robben
Nicolas Anelka

Alli also managed it in consecutive seasons. Anelka was close but Owen pipped him to it.

Shearer was 22 in the first PL season. Fowler is on the list twice, with the two best seasons for a player 21 or under (25 & 28 goals).

Theo Walcott?

Chris Sutton?
Sutton also managed 25 goals in 93-94 for Norwich.

Didn't Teddy Sheringham score a bundle for Forest in the first season of what we now know to be football? He was probably too old, but he must have been young at some point.

He was at least 25 at that point.

He was indeed 25, and that was actually the LAST season before football was actually invented. He then went on to top the scoring charts in the first ever PL season.

How old was Alan Smith when he was good for Leeds?
Smith managed 11 PL goals in 2000-01, but that was the Owen era.

Not too early, that was the year of the City title win with Balotelli's assist. 13 goals in what was actually his 2nd season in English football.

Just realised I completely forgot to finish this one off - looking for the top goalscorer who was 21 or under in each PL season. Remaining seasons and clubs they played for are below:

I’ve spent about an hour trying to remember Domagoj Vida’s name. There’s probably still more Croatians too. Have we done Kramaric yet?

Three Danes? Are Thomas Delaney & Daniel Wass in the squad? Simon Kjaer must be way up there if he’s in too. Andreas Christensen, Youssef Poulsen, & Kasper Dolberg come to mind as well.

Yarmolenko, Malinovskyi or Zinchenko for Ukraine, Djimsiti for Albania & Ricardo Rodriguez for Switzerland. Seeing Ilicic is on there has reminded me of Jasmin Kurtic.

Don’t see Serbia on the list but surely Dusan Tadic is up there? Same goes for de Vrij. Danilo Pereira seems like the only Portuguese lad old enough to be the last one standing for them.

It's the high Slovakia one that's really baffling. Thomas Muller level of international caps, in a not so minor country football-wise (as opposed to say Georgia) and I can't even come close to who it could be. Everyone I'm thinking off has already been mentioned and they are either lower in that list or not active any more.

Adding a new one. Cole Palmer scored his 12th Prem penalty at the weekend. Setting a Premier League record for the most penalties taken without ever missing.

Chelsea FC posted this on their site “Cole Palmer set a new Premier League record on Sunday as he scored his 12th consecutive penalty, a feat no player had previously achieved in the competition.” Leaving out the important “without missing” qualifier.

He's the only one who has taken 12 and not missed one, so yeah, it's not really a record, it's the modern age.

Fernandes had a good run at United to start with didn't he?

Sheringham?

I could have sworn Le Tissier never missed one.

Sir Andy Mahowry

Turns out he missed just one:

Like Niko said, most without missing. Not most in a row (though some people can't tell the difference).

Salah has missed some biggies in his time. A couple at least for Egypt, and feels like a few for Liverpool as well, though the only one I can actually name at this time is the one vs Senegal that saw them miss out on Qatar.

My two wrong answers were Bermuda for coastline over 1km and in North America (how is that wrong? even on their thing it says it has a coastline of 180km and is NA) and Central African Republic for the green flag as I read the category as MORE than 7 letters long.

Also, Mexico being the lowest for over 40 medals in NA is annoying because I instantly dismissed them as being one of the top 3 most obvious.

I did the exact same mistake. I haven't gotten many wrong so far, but the game does seem to let you have one mistake and still get a full grid. I'm currently doing the ones I missed and got a 127.3 from todays.

The five coloured flags are bullshit as they seemingly accept any flag where the emblem makes up most of the colours. Thought I'd done very well in that section, but since the flags actually all have five colours and no emblems, the points weren't great.

The only low score other than Comoros (not that difficult if you watch AFCON) was Cameroon which makes no sense. The only explanation can be everyone put that as the French speaking country.

Half the game is naming small islands in Oceania, Caribbean and Africa which isn’t too difficult if you play Sporcle, GeoGuesser etc)

Knowing what touches the Eurasian Steppe or is apparently in the European Union is a different story
