So fast, they didn't get a chance to take the picture twice.
Okay I just saw Diego Forlan on the live text, but because he's retiring. So if he's right he's also immediately ineligible for the list and therefore a wrong answer.
EDIT: Although Wikipedia seemed to think he was already retired. Hmm.

Samuel has been said multiple times and is wrong. There is another Argentinian defender who has 17 caps and also played for Monaco between 06-09
Marco Delvecchio for the above.
Also Ferrari for one of the defenders.
Ferrari is correct but has already been mentioned. Delvecchio is incorrect. However, there is another player besides Borriello who has the first name, Marco.

Im looking to put together a tournament to determine your favourite players in each position. Similar to the tournament Baz did earlier in the year, but for TTH users.
Its a bit tricky though. Does Maldini get ranked as a LB or CB. Lahm as a RB or LB
Maldini is best known as a left back. Lahm is a right back who could also play left back.
SincereTheRebel
19-08-2019, 10:02 AM
They don't have to be in one position. I could list Maldini as a LB and CB.
Mellberg
19-08-2019, 10:19 AM
He wouldn't get in any team as a centre half. He'd probably be in over 50% as a left back.
SincereTheRebel
19-08-2019, 10:28 AM
I think it may be safe to say, the left-back slot is between Maldini, Carlos and Cole from the 90s onwards.
Let's find out - start the thread.

With Bolton about to potentially explode, name the 50 players with the most premier league appearances for them. They appeared in the premier league between 95/96 and 11/12. They did get relegated between the two dates.
Minimum appearances is 39

Brighton v Crystal Palace, obvs.
Chelsea v West Ham? Or West Ham v Millwall?
Isn't PSG / Marseille one of the big French ones?
I wasn't aware anyone had any particularly strong feelings about PSG, including the people of Paris/their fans.
I reckon if there's a big/violent rivalry going in France then St Etienne must be involved in some capacity.
St Etienne are involved

Must be a few more English ones on there. Newcastle - Sunderland?
I seem to remember Djurgarden and AIK being a big deal in Sweden.
Seattle v Portland? I feel dirty for suggesting that.
Ferencvaros - MTK
Copenhagen - Brondby
Olympiakos - Panathinaikos
Steaua - Dinamo (Bucharest)
Hearts - Hibs
And no one seems to have said Fenerbahce v Galatasaray, which stops the world.

If there are any from Poland in the list it has to be Warsaw (Polonia/Legia) or Lodz (LKS/Widzew).
