Jussi Jaaskelainen has the record I believe.

He shares the record, with 4 red cards.

Fabien Barthez? He seems like the sort of scamp who'd have been sent off a few times.

That's some effort considering he played about 100 games in the Prem.

Alisson has had one I think.

I could reel off a load of goalkeepers who played a lot of games so I'll stick with these three who had a blunder in them.

Please let it be Hilario.

Grodas? I remember him throwing in a last minute goal to cost my dad around £500 on his coupon in the 90s.

Not sure you can call them obscure but Dave Beasant or Ed de Goey?

For obscure options I'll go with Marco Ambrosio (I think) and Lenny Pidgeley. Hilario is a good shout mind, seemed the type to get red carded.

9 left to guess - I'll give one last clue and call an end if you can't get anymore.

These are the games the goalkeepers were sent off in:

Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Sheffield United, September 1992 (A casualty of the new rule where goalkeepers couldn't pick up a backpass) & Oldham Athletic 1-1 Sheffield United, May 1994.
Sunderland 1-1 Norwich City, March 2013
Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Liverpool, May 1997 (A really weird one where he came off the bench minutes earlier and was immediately sent off for handball, with Jamie Redknapp scoring from the resultant free kick)
QPR 1-2 Newcastle United, May 2013
Newcastle United 6-1 Wimbledon, October 1995 (You may remember this one as the game where Vinnie Jones went in goal for the remaining 45 minutes)
Everton 3-0 West Ham United, December 1995
Aston Villa 3-4 Charlton Athletic, May 1999 (This is the Aussie GK, Charlton still managed an 89th minute winner though)
Everton 1-0 Blackburn Rovers, February 2006 (Sent off 9 minutes into his PL debut, with a little help from Alan Stubbs who headed the ball at him. Somehow Everton still won)
Manchester City 4-1 Birmingham City, December 2005

The Norwich City keeper also spent a few seasons at Aston Villa as the backup, both in the PL and the Championship.
The Aussie keeper at Charlton started his career with Luton, and also spent time with Portsmouth. Flitted about the Football League, currently coaching in India.
The Everton keeper was a Scot who only ended up playing 4 PL games, before loan spells with Crystal Palace, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Coventry City and Preston North End.

Yep. Always have been opposed as they think FIFA will then force them into folding into a UK national team.

The SNP would have romped home in the Independence referendum if they used this. It's probably even got more truth to it than the Brexit bollocks we were sold by Boris.

We've seen a number of short managerial spells this season. Can you name the 40 managers that have lasted 20 games or less at a club in the Premier League?

This doesn't include managers who have spent time with a club getting promoted before being sacked/leaving early into the PL season, nor managers that joined a club mid-season and were relegated and continued in their role in the lower divisions.

De Boer.

Are we talking 20 league games here?

If not I'm amazed it's only 40.

Tony Adams, Nathan Jones, Quique Sanchez Flores (I imagine there are a fuck load more Watford managers too) and the great Rene Mulensteen (spelling is wrong for sure).

Silva can't have lasted that long at Everton, and yeah, every Watford manager there has ever been.

20 league games as a maximum. Some of the managers do appear twice on the list. De Boer is of course correct with the shortest reign (in terms of matches) of all at just 4.

Steve Wigley and Paul Sturrock.

Bob Bradley

Silva had over a season at Everton, 53 PL games to be exact. But he still makes the list thanks to his Hull stint. 18 games in charge before being snapped up by Watford in the summer.

Velimir Zajec (Portsmouth)
Roy Hodgson (Watford)
I'm going to say Philippe Troussier (Portsmouth) but it was probably some other Frenchman from that era
Stuart Gray (Southampton)
Javi Gracia (Leeds)
Javi Gracia (Watford)
Carlos Carvalhal (Swansea)
Terry Connor (Wolves)
Pepe Mel (West Brom)

I've also managed to come up with Paul Le Guen having a short and ill-fated stint at Blackburn, which, it turns out, was completely a figment of my imagination.

Just 11 games for Gracia this season.

Pepe Mel (West Brom)
There is a Frenchman who managed Portsmouth on the list but it's not Troussier. Gracia (to my surprise) actually lasted over 18 months in his stint in charge of Watford.

Good shout with Zajec, and Hodgson is one of a few managers who appear on the list more than once.

Avram Grant at Pompey maybe? Probably went to more massage parlours in that time than he oversaw matches.

Hodgson at Blackburn, back in the mists of time, must have been pretty short. Ditto didn't Steve Coppell have an incredibly short-lived return to Palace? Maybe even zero games.

Hodgson was there for a couple of years I thought. Are you mixing him up with Brian Kidd perhaps? Who wasn't there very long.

25 games for Grant at Portsmouth.

Did Woy make it to 20 games at Liverpool?
20 games exactly, that's his second appearance on the list.

Ranieri at Fulham
I tried to blank this period out from my brain. Ranieri also makes another entry on the list.

Hodgson was there for a couple of years I thought. Are you mixing him up with Brian Kidd perhaps? Who wasn't there very long.
Kidd was there for almost a season.

He would have done, but he stayed on for the entirety of the 2011/12 season.

They'd just been relegated to the First Division. Coppell only managed 6 games.

I've got him as a permanent manager, only 8 games in charge.

Was Les Reed full-time manager at Charlton?

Ben

Terry Venables (co-manager Middlesbrough, and then on his own at Leeds; two for one shot).
Howard Wilkinson (Sunderland).
Peter Reid (Leeds).
Eddie Gray (Leeds).
Iain Dowie (Charlton and Hull; two for one).
Les Reed (Charlton).
Ricky Sbragia (Sunderland).
Paul Ince (Blackburn).
Steve Kean (Blackburn).
Roy McFarland (another co-manager, Bolton).
Kevin Keegan (Newcastle, second spell, assuming they count).
Colin Todd (either as above, or at Derby; another two for one shot).
Chris Hutchings (replaced Jewell for a bit I recall at Bradford, then did the same at Wigan; two for one again).
Dave Bassett (I'm sure he was Leicester manager for a few months before going back to DoF).
Sam Allardyce (Newcastle).
Luiz Felipe Scolari (Chelsea).
