No caps whilst actually at Madrid though. Earned his 5th cap at Newcastle before leaving for Real Madrid, earned his 6th whilst on loan at Middlesbrough, and his 7th and 8th at Spurs.

I know, I wasn't disputing it, just found it incredible that he didn't make 10 caps.

SvN

When he was at Leeds, him and Rio were very much touted as England's future, with a lot of people rating Woodgate ahead of Ferdinand. He was a brilliant defender, injuries ruined him.

Years and clubs of the remaining players on my list:

1948-49 - Notts County
1956-57 - Coventry City
1959-60 - Hibernian
1962 - Crystal Palace
1962 - Inter Milan
1971 - QPR
1976 - Crystal Palace

1979 - Crystal Palace

There may be a few more not on my list, so a bonus point if you guess one of those that turns out to be right.

Earned his first cap in '74, the year after QPR were promoted.

Are any of the remaining players currently managers?
Not currently, although one has been in management for 30 years, and another was briefly a caretaker manager in the Premier League & Championship.

West Ham one has got to be Trevor Brooking.

Dave.

That Inter Milan one is G Hitchens (can't remember first name, maybe Geoff or Gary?), he was the first player to play for England whilst at a foreign club.

Some more clues for the final few:

1948-49 - Notts County - Moved for a British record transfer fee of £20,000, strong centre forward. 22 goals in 23 England caps, also played for Everton, Chelsea, Brentford and Arsenal.
1956-57 - Coventry City - Goalkeeper, who also played for Chelsea and Derby.
1959-60 - Hibernian - Striker who started career in Scotland. Also played briefly in Italy alongside Denis Law, before moving to Arsenal and then Nottingham Forest.
1962 - Crystal Palace - Striker who also played for West Ham. Famously scored a hat trick for England in a win over Portugal in the 60s.
1971 - QPR - Maverick forward who also played for Man City and Fulham. Worked as a pundit for many years.
1976 - Crystal Palace - Winger, better known for 30 years in management across all levels in England, including the national side.

He definitely managed Palace (creating the Brighton rivalry), so I guess he probably played for them.

The 1948 one is Tommy Lawton.

Not Keegan, Hodgson or Venables for the Palace player. I'll give it till the end of the day for anyone to get the remaining 4.

1956-57 - Coventry City - Goalkeeper, who also played for Chelsea and Derby.
1959-60 - Hibernian - Striker who started career in Scotland. Also played briefly in Italy alongside Denis Law, before moving to Arsenal and then Nottingham Forest.

Ghana, probably Essien or Yeboah

Sierra Leone - think it's Kei Kamara with 1, unless Al Bangura ever netted

EqG - blimey. Struggling. Has that Pedro Obiang or whatever played for them? If not, no idea.

Gambia - that midget winger bloke at Swansea. Jallow? Moussa Jallow? Could be inventing him.

Yeboah is level with another Ghanaian on 24 goals. Correct on the Gambian winger, but Max below got the name, it was Mo Barrow with a solitary goal.

Hassan Kachloul for Maroc?

Jahankabash?
You've named 2 of the 3 Iranian PL goalscorers between you but missed the leader.

Joseph Desire Job for Cameeoon

Roberts is correct for Grenada but has already been said. Blackstock has scored a PL goal and is from Antigua and Barbuda, but someone else has scored 2.

Maynor is right, and I made a mistake anyway - Roger Espinoza was the 3rd Honduran to score (also while at Wigan) and I'd mixed up the surnames.

Klavan scored only one goal, an injury-time winner at Burnley. Skrtel managed 16 PL goals but is not the top Slovakian goalscorer, and Vuckic never scored in the Prem.

Iran is Dejagah or something. Fulham player
Fox was the answer for Montserrat and has been said already, but Dejagah is correct, 5 goals for Fulham.

Slovakia and Slovenia i get confused so ill guess skrtel, nemeth, zlotan gera,
Nemeth is the correct answer for Slovakia, with 23 PL goals.

Antigua - Mikele Leigertwood

Poland - that square headed bloke who played for Leicester. Wasilewski

Antigua and Bernuda is bugging. If its not Blackstock its some other Uk born player. Chabolah? Cherno Samba?
Jimmy gets the Antiguan, Leigertwood scored 2 goals. Wasilewski did score a PL goal, but is not the answer.
