See, this is what I don't get:

The in play bet is refunded if you lose.

It is not? You've forked out 100, if you lose the second bet but win the first, you've still lost about £45 in total?

Offshore Toon

As Sincere said, your in-play bet is refunded so that -£47 turns into profit of £3 which gives you a free acca at the weekend. Just remember to do the safe bet pre-match and the risky bet in-play.

The second bet should always be over 2.0 odds, so you'll get £100 or more back. The first bet's purpose is for you to qualify for the £50 in-play offer, that's why you go with something very, very safe.

The safest option is the BTTS in the first half options. But i dont live by life in any safe option so i prefer the over 0.5 goals and predict the correct score option.

Looking at Atletico's form and I'm not particularly confident in the 0-0. As much as my head tells me Atletico will win, that 12/1 for Leicester is very, very appealing.

Mazuuurk
12-04-2017, 11:47 AM
Wait, are you fuckers talking about one of these deals that the betting sites do where they give you back cash for the first bet? :cab:

If so that would make sense. Because I still can't make sense of how placing two bets ever cover each other otherwise, unless you find a binary bet with 2.0+ odds on option A on one site and 2.0+ on option B on another site (which, I learned the hard way, you should still stay the fuck clear of if it happens).

Sometimes you'll get stuff like

H / D / A
2.8 - 3.5 - 3.5, at which case you can almost cover yourself by betting on D & A and then hope there isn't an early goal and that the odds go up above 3.0 for H.

Atletico basically never concede at home in the Champions League so I think I'll avoid those Leicester odds even though they're so high. I do have a feeling they might do it though... And we all know the secret to success in betting is trusting very vague feelings!

I really can't tell a single one of the games tonight.

Usually, like Reg implies, that means just go with the highest odds on everything and hope for an upset.

Leicester seemingly being without Morgan might really hurt them though. And Athletico are still industrious enough to not expose themselves too much at the back, like teams like City might, so who knows.

They conceded to Rostov. Their clean sheet record really isn't all that good. Factor in that Leicester have the potential to seriously up their game and Griezman being a bottler, I'm going for Leicester.

Griezmann only has an issue bottling it in a final. He's scored winners against Barcelona, Bayern and abdy else they face in knockout stages. And his form since the turn of the years been immense. Their clean sheets have been somewhat iffy compared to previous as Oblak was injured for months.

Leicester, storia di un grande amore!

Have you not been reading this thread at all? Me and Sincere have gone through it. IT IS FREE MONEY*.

*although it states in the T&Cs that you aren't allowed to use methods that guarantee profit, I've never known this to be put into action, and most of my mates have won hundreds at some point.

I'm almost certain they will never do anything about people guaranteeing themselves money.

If you do it right it's a free £50 or whatever every time it rolls around.

It's worth it to them because it gets people using their website, and because people will either fuck up guaranteeing profit or go for something hollywood.

Normally spend a good 30-45 minutes compiling an accumulator at the weekend. Didn't realise english games were played today. Scrambled at work for 30 seconds and put this on.

Sheff United to beat Port Vale. Won
Rotherham to draw with Birmingham. Won
Fulham to beat Norwich. Won
Brighton to beat Wolves. (2-0 Wolves with 5 minutes to play).
Burton to draw with Ipswich.

Nice slice of luck started with my mother messaging me asking me to place a fiver on a horse her mate owns at 19-1. She lost, but I also stuck a fiver on one of its competitiors and it won. Kicked myself for having gone each way, but whacked the winnings (£23) on a five fold returning £363. Was mega pissed when Austria Wien A had 2 player sent off with half an hour to go, and then when Kongsvinger equalised in the 93rd minute, but somehow the former held out and the latter conspired to still lose the game to a 95th minute winner.

Almost cashed out for £50 with Dundee Utd 1-0 down at half time, but kept going until they were 1-0 down thinking my luck couldn't hold and again at 2-1 up for £200 but got a call from the gf which stopped me using the app amd subsequently I returned to it with Juve and Dundee Utd a couple of minutes away from winning their respective ties.

Nice bit of luck not only in the games but the motivation to place the bet and no cash out.

Fulham v Reading = fulham o1 corner in each half, fulham o2 corner in each half, fulham o3 corner in each half
Rangers game = same bets as above but rangers o1, o2 etc.

2.37, 5.5 and 17.00 are the odds. Not worked out what the correct odds are for the Fulham game but for Rangers they should be 1.33, 2.10 and 4.00.

So worth having a little bet on those six markets.

Probably should have mentioned why it's such an obvious fuck-up: they've given fulham and rangers the odds of their opponents, i.e. Reading's odds for o1 in each half are 1.33 whilst Fulham's are 2.37. Should be the other way around.

Highest turnover leagues/countries since August, though it's still a small sample size for some of them:

Germany has been great. I've been a bit silly with Premier League betting so I should be doing less of that next season. Mainstream Asian stuff will be binned off entirely. Friendlies and internationals I think I've just ran really badly on but there's a few things I'll change.

http://imgur.com/a/LnlRg

I'm way too prone to shit overs stream bets, and apparently I underestimate home advantage

It's been ok but I'd have liked the numbers to be a lot better. Going to try a more specialised approach next season.

In some respects I'm very jealous of what you're doing. Can imagine it's difficult though because you'd have to be disciplined and have a side stream pulling off earnings into an untouchable "life" pot to make the whole thing work.

I'm way too prone to shit overs stream bets, and apparently I underestimate home advantage.

HFA may just be a symptom of the problem, which may be that you're staking too many minuses (with a minus more likely to be the home team).

-james-
24-05-2017, 12:42 PM
But I do better on home teams than away teams, so surely I'm not staking enough minuses. I actually stake more pluses than minuses and do worse on them.

AyDee
24-05-2017, 12:53 PM
Fair enough. I need to go through my spreadsheet to make general pluses/minuses stats, imagine I do a lot better on pluses than minuses though.

I don't stake goal-line bets at all anymore, apart from Mackers when he tips a goal-line bet in SA. Think it's very difficult to achieve as good a long-term RoI on goals as you can manage on asians.

AyDee
24-05-2017, 12:57 PM
Wait, are your stats above just for the year? 4,000 bets? :eyemouth:

-james-
24-05-2017, 01:06 PM
4000 stakes. That's from the automated spreadsheet mollybet gives you so probably loads of low limit games or games where I've traded. There's a random Danish game that I apparently had 97 bets on as well which definitely isn't right. I've had about 1000 bets this year.

You're right about overs in games you're just stream betting I think. Circumstancial late overs are some of the best bets going though.

AyDee
24-05-2017, 01:24 PM
Ah, I see. I'm at 1,100-1,200 so similar amount. How's the year going for you so far? I'm bemoaning the fact that I started with such reduced stakes when going full-time last August, upping stakes quicker each month now instead.

Late overs are class but overrated imo. The absolute class overs bets are rarer than people think, which is probably why people end up with high volume of overs bets but usually a poor RoI.

-james-
24-05-2017, 02:57 PM
I'm having a decent year. Had no accounts and making good money in Asia so can't complain. Invested a lot of time and effort into the 2.Bundesliga stuff, pleased with how it's gone mostly but looking forward to changing and expanding it a fair bit for next season.

I've been busy with other stuff for the past 6 weeks or so and am away from home for most of the summer. Poses a bit of a challenge as the idea of being out of the game for so long makes me nervous (addiction etc.). Just going to follow the good international stuff that's on and hopefully make back the holiday.

Decent tip, James, but hard to stomach that. Zambia 3-1 up with minutes to spare. I was hovering over the 'cash out' button, stupidly determined to hold out even though I couldn't help but dread the idea of relying on African defenders. Finished 3-3. I sweat I've lost about £200 through not cashing out in the past year.

Champions Trophy starts today. Pakistan are grossly overpriced at 30 on the Betfair exchange outrights. They won't win it, but are in the weaker group (in these conditions) and could easily go through to the semis at which point you'll be able to trade out in single figures.

Jimmy Floyd - any tips for the US Open?

I'm looking at it tomorrow but the course is absolutely mental and anyone who doesn't hit the ball straight off the tee is not in contention. Rickie Fowler might as well not turn up, and Mickelson literally hasn't turned up.

Without seeing odds I'd be thinking dull Americans in the game - Kuchar, Kisner, Walker and so on. Stricker might be a good one each way as I think he's a local and is very straight (albeit old).

Jimmy Floyd
13-06-2017, 09:46 PM
Just seen the odds - Rose is a good price but not good enough to tempt me on the nose.

Stenson on the nose 35/1

Each way:
Alex Noren 66/1
Kaymer 100/1
Snedeker 150/1
Bill Haas 280/1

I see Davis Love IV, aka 'Dru Love' (quadruple) popping up towards the bottom of the odds.

25. Nothing amazing for golf but any sort of winner in golf is a plus, that said it's only my second of the season after Garcia at the Masters.

I have a tenner on Charl and a fiver on Bernd, and 20 each on Fowler/Fleetwood. Tommy is dead though.

The people who started later today (and earlier tomorrow) look like they're massively having the better of the draw, with the wind getting nasty during the day tomorrow. There could be value in someone who's currently on about level or +1, but starts as early as possible to come through the field.

If I had to pick who's going to be in the final pair for Saturday, I'd say Casey and Kuchar, although that will require Kuch to have two good days in a row, which is something he is normally averse to doing.

Forget Rory, he is a surprisingly shite wind player given he's from Portrush.

Had a nightmare with my bets for the cup games last night.

Had a £3 8 fold (became a 7 fold when Derby voided) which was winning at about 65 minutes, but then Barnsley were pegged back to 3-3 so I left it a while and cashed out for £9.90.

You can't withdraw less than £10 on Sky Bet, so I lobbed the £9.90 on Ipswich to win 1-0 (already 1-0 with about two minutes to go) only for them to literally score seconds later, and then I had a look and saw that Barnsley scored a 94th minute winner too.

Could've had £74 from a winning bet, ended up with £0 instead!

BET365 have today's FA qual games. They will probably have them tomorrow too. But you will have to wait until tomorrow until they become available to bet on.

Not if you don't want to get whichever insider has given you the tip banged up for the next year.

There's a game happening where I have it on good authority that most of the first team of the higher tiered team are missing due to a wedding.

:D

We've had that in cricket before but you wouldn't expect it in the cut throat world of semi-pro football.

Obviously he won't as if 5 people bet on an 8th v 9th tier game (or similar) at the same time the odds will either collapse or it will be suspended.

It depends on the game but there could well be plenty of bookies offering the game. High street bookie machines as well. Betway, bet365, skybet, 10bet, betvictor are likely decent shouts

I'm not sure the volume from on here would do that much, especially if it's spread about different sites.

What I'm trying to say is: feed us, yev.

I didn't think it would be too hard to figure out but that's a very long fixture list.

I'll have a look tomorrow morning and I'll let you all know then.

There may well be no value in it anyway, as how the fuck do you compile odds for games at that level, but if I can share the love I will.

Shoved £19 worth of accumulators and trebles on tomorrow. Here's hoping the 42800/1 shot comes in.

Partick at 3.75 @ St Johnstone looks great value. Beat them 3-0 a week or so ago and Patrick's two losses were Hibs and Celtic.

I play that super 6 with sky sports and rarely do i ever win. Decided to put £1 on at odds of 72000/1 on correct scores for the 6 games

Got a few quid from that tennis bet so to potentially throw some of it away:

Man Utd 2-0 and Brighton 0-0 double @55
Man Utd win and Brighton draw double @5

Liking Norwich at 3.3. Villa seem a pure mess.
