Had a pretty great weekend.

Family day on Saturday, went to a Easter Egg Hunt/Balloon show on Saturday then went to the park to feed ducks, have an ice cream and a walk round.

Daughter got dropped off at my mums yesterday as she was taking her away for a couple of days in her campervan. We then went to Callander and walked up Ben A'an, first I've done one of these in a while and it was a bit of a stretch, was blowing out my arse half way up but the views at the top (and the incredible burger & beer in Callander afterwards) more than made up for it.

Then Fabric after.

Saturday will be BBQ and then maybe out to some tranny shithole in Shoreditch 'cause my mate is a wanker, but there's enough disinterest to revolt and just chill at my mate's.

I'll hopefully visit CostCo for the first day at some stage as well.

Leeds playing on Friday night so that's a nice way to break up said cuntery as the wedding is on Saturday.

12 Pubz IV this Saturday.

My mate organises it every year for his birthday. The hardcore start at pub one at midday in the Eastern depths of suburban Rugby, have a drink, move to pub two for 1pm, have a drink, etc, working your way towards and then through the centre of town, adding and shedding members as you go along. Just a pub crawl really, but it's always a great laugh. There was only about 5 people the first couple of years, but by the end there was about 30 last year.

This was our shit gang at pub 5 last year:

https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t31.0-8/13071736_10154729032294409_2820469429318207263_o.j pg?oh=11b12bd82bdcd2c35b5aa64b2caaa692&oe=599443E4

Apparently that same kid in the window was at the same pub at the same time the previous year, which is either a funny coincidence or distressing insight into her upbringing.

I have work until 2, so won't be arriving until about 5pm, but that's probably for the best cus since I've cut down on my drinking I've become a massive lightweight - I was fucking trashed after 4 pints last week. Other than that I'll play fifa in my pants and sleep.

I like the people at the extreme ends. On the left you have an excellent 'Ashley Cole at Roma', and on the right you have someone who's recently decided to change his look but doesn't yet have the wardrobe to pull it off.

Also, second from right in the striped top has absolutely no hope of fastening that jacket.

That's because most people can be arsed looking up holidays and deals on the internet. A holiday is the last thing I want to be doing so looking them up is also the last thing I want to be doing. May as well go to someone that does it for a living. They still exist so they must be doing something.

I've all the aunts and uncles that are alive(13). 8 cousins, I've almost 50 first cousins so inviting the lot is never done so just went with the close ones. The rest are friends and the ones from work, and a few lads I worked with in the last two jobs. Also gave each of the folks 4 slots each for ones they wanted (neighbours at home, etc). By the time they all have a plus-1 too, it doesn't be long adding up.

We never even knew it was done until the hotel said about it as part of the package. Should be the best part of the day, apart from trying to stop my sister singing into the small hours. We got 80 rooms block booked and they're all gone, and some others are booked into regular rooms afaik so there should be a good stir for the late bit.

I've got £42 and only enough food in the cupboards to last another week tops (unless keto really kicks in and I can stop eating) so I'm tempted to not drink, but 3/4 till 11/12 is going to be a lot of effort sober and hungry. The mate that's flown over has already said he doesn't want a heavy night (because his wife will have said that and he's a pussy; he will be looking forward to this night more than a wedding for some dweeb he barely knows) so hopefully they bail early-ish. God no, not my scene.

Noice. Bet your toilet trips were a bit grim after that. :D

Got a Polish bloke coming to pick up a cabinet we don't want later. Not going to bother getting tooled up like MJ.

Remember me.

I've figured out this dog and the bairn is being awesome and chatty. I'm on salmonella watch after me dad's cooking, mind.

How much is the going rate for Taxis for folk on here? Some sweaty nonce tried to charge me £40 yesterday from Dundee to Carnoustie (12 mile) and refused to keep the ticker on after I dropped someone off about half way through the journey. It was £13 or something at that point. Ended up locking the doors when I said that's a minimum of £10 more than it should have been.

Needless to say once I put the two £20 notes down on the dashboard I picked one back up and shot off.

I paid €28 home from the city center last weekend. It's normally closer to €40. The taxi man was an Indian in a full suit.

Costs me £13ish from town to Ferry.

Most of the time there's a group of you or they just ask for money before you get in but it was the fact he turned it off half way, the cunt.

I must spend hundreds and hundreds on taxis a month. Sheeeeeeeesh.

The transport links are great in Brighton, plus its fairly small, so I think I've only taken about two or three taxi rides in my time here. Not enough to know roughly how much things cost.

In Jersey because the taxis were charging silly, silly amounts they've been undercut by 17 year olds. There's a Facebook page where you just post the details and then some kid comes and picks you up. You can go anywhere on the island for about a tenner. Anywhere close a fiver.

Only Taxi I take is from my home to Luton airport now and then.

Black cabs at the airport charge £40, Hitchin taxis charge around £30-£40 but a Luton company we use only charges £23 (£20 for the journey and £3 to cover the parking fee).

The guy taking us to Luton airport the other week was a Pakistani guy who was pretty much begging me to vote for Labour.

I was just like you until 4 years ago, I didn't vote but now I do. What are you, 27 ish?
Close, 30.
Yeah, just like I was. Just vote and tell people that you haven't, do it. Just vote for Corbyn.
...
Mate, you've got to. Vote, it's great.

I didn't have the heart to tell him that I wouldn't be in the country even if he had persuaded me.

I probably spend £20-40 a month on Ubers, depending on what I'm up to. It's so convenient

I have to get a taxi home every time unless I'm in a gaff afterwards and get a bus in the AM. Pretty shit.
