He absolutely is. I preferred Eusebio because I got him so early and it didn't involve opening over two and a half thousand packs to get him, but he is absolutely broken. Unless you're playing someone genuinely good at the game just randomly pushing the right stick is enough to get past most opposing defenders.

Him and Michael Jordan in NBA2K21 are the most broken players I've ever used in any sports games.

Did the 91+ the other day and got Varane, which opens up some nice options down the left with Hernandez and Kante.

No idea why I'm playing this still, but I guess I'm enjoying using these mega players and building different teams.

Definitely reinforced my feeling that the main way to be successful is to pack someone mega early in the game cycle and build from there. The rating difference between gold Mbappe and the average early team is far more pronounced and then it just becomes cyclical as you win more and unlock higher tier players at a quicker rate.

I think my goal in the next game is to play more competitive matches and focus more on building my main team rather than having a breadth of high-rated squads from different leagues.

I've been bashing through them too. Got a full Icon squad now, but none of the major ones from the SBC. Did get Rio earlier though. I'm basically using it now to try out various Icons to see which I might buy in the next game.

This. Do the 85 and keep rolling them into that until I get large dupes. Once I get a set of dupes split them between another 85 and a segment of the icon SBC.

Eventually you run out of golds but I just bought a stack of 5k packs (you can make a profit on every one if you sell everything) and started again.
