Whoever else did the Pick'em agreed with me on almost every match, but I think team Auto Draft might overcome Baz.
Me, that. :baz:
I fucking hate the fact the draft date selection is automatically set to PDT - must've ended up changing it about twelve times to get it to the time I actually intended :D

On yahoo? Mine is definitely set to BST.
I have some Graham Gano news for you Browning. Word from their GM is that, if he isn't traded by week one, he'll be the one kicking against the 49ers.
Just completed another randomer draft. Ended up with the seventh pick & a fairly decent team:
QB - Andrew Luck, Sam Bradford
RB - Ezekiel Elliott, Christian McCaffery, Kareem Hunt, Ameer Abdullah, Doug Martin (IN THE 9TH ROUND! :cab:)
WR - Mike Evans, Martavis Bryant, Devante Parker, Jeremy Maclin, Corey Davis
TE - Zach Ertz
DEF - Giants
K - Lutz
Kinda just took guys I wanted to own for the first half of the draft, then tried to fill in the gaps
Browning

The Gano news doesn't fill me with confidence. Knowing my luck they'll decide to play the other guy 2 minutes into the game for no reason.
If Hauschka clears waivers tomorrow I'll go with him. Fuck it.
Binned off Prater for Janikowski in dynasty. He might be old and so have no value long term, but this year he should hopefully do a job.

Sea Bass is immortal.
Reckon I'll actually win any games?
My WRs are expected to get 0 points.
They won't get zero points, but they might be close :D
Browning

I won't name names.... but there is one team I would back Baz to win against week 1.
I don't know, I thought Mert drafted pretty well.

"Team to avoid" :D

Yahoo being wrong once again, shock.
Someone's jumped the gun on Wille Snead in League Two by placing him on waivers.
That's a bit :harold: surely even through he has a three game suspension on him.
Browning

Mahow's delusions about the Ravens know no bounds. :D
They're easily the worst team in the entire NFL for fantasy options.
Sir Andy Mahowry
04-09-2017, 11:16 PM
And you go too far the other end.
If we split our thoughts down the middle we're probably spot on.
Browning
04-09-2017, 11:18 PM
Some of it is to wind you up, but I was genuinely asked if I had to ban myself from drafting from one team, who it would be, and I didn't really have to think about it.
Their RBs are always "THE NEXT BIG THING" but never materialise, Flacco is meh (a lower end option) and I don't even remember the last time they had a viable WR. Fantasy Pros has their best player in the overall rankings as West at 71.... I haven't double checked but I'm fairly sure every other team has a better player than that.
They've burned me too many times, and they're always injured. Beyond Tucker there's no one there I'd want.
Sir Andy Mahowry
04-09-2017, 11:23 PM
Oh, I agree they're all 'sleepers' at best.
You can't pin a season on a Ravens player but they can be good for a game or two.
Same for most of the league too really.
Browning
04-09-2017, 11:26 PM
To be fair to them, Woodhead is a PPR stud (one I'm kind of sad I missed out on in every league, and did consider drafting a few times) but I'd need to see him do it for the Ravens first, and not be injured. I think I have Maclin in 1 league and I'm interested to see if he does anything.
I did say after my Dynasty draft that Kenneth Dixon was one of my favorite picks of the draft. I had him top of my board for a long time before pulling the trigger because I knew no one else was going to be thinking about the guy who was injured all year (I did the same with Mike Williams too). I'm banking on you being right about him.
Browning

If it makes you feel better I play in a league with a Panthers fan who took McCaffrey in round 2 (ahead of Melvin Gordon, Ajayi and Zeke), Cam Newton in round 5 (2 QB league so it's not too horrible... but still) and the Pathers DST as the 5th one taken (only after Seattle, Denver, Kansas and Houston) and also spent a 14th rounder on a Carolina IDP who wasn't Kuechley. So I guess all NFL fans are like that with their team. I'm shocked he didn't draft more Panthers, he usually does.
Browning

Hauschka didn't clear waivers so I still have Gano.... and Sea Bass is now an issue for the first time in like 4 decades. Fuck sake.
Edit- Sea Bass out, Lutz in. We'll revisit it after Wembley/after he gets cut/injured/asked to take a 90% pay cut.

Sorry I missed the draft. Went out of town and assumed I'd be sat at my cousin's house doing fuck all but actually ended up going to a college football game that night.
Didn't get enough people for the custom league (sorry Mahow), so I went & did another quick draft. Ended up with this from pick 4:
QB - Kirk Cousins
RB - Todd Gurley, Isaiah Crowell, Leonard Fournette, Joe Mixon, Rob Kelley, James White
WR - Julio Jones, Doug Baldwin, Michael Crabtree, Pierre Garcon, Tyrell Williams
TE - Hunter Henry
DEF - Jacksonville
K - Brandon McManus
Some pretty crazy RB value in this draft - I got Gurley (R3), Crowell (R4), Fournette (R5) & Mixon (R7) all at least one round later than I thought they'd go, while Jordan Howard went in R3, McCaffery in R5, Tevin Coleman in R9 & Powell in R10. Hell, Freeman at 13 & Elliott at 19 aren't half bad either.
Wasn't exclusively RBs that went way later than expected though, as Dez fell to 26, Hopkins to 36, Parker went in R7, and Snead dropped all the way to R11. I grabbed Crabtree in R6, which I was very happy with too. Eifert didn't go until R12 either, while Jameis went one round earlier, so mad values to be had everywhere somehow.
Might do another one later - still want to try to get hold of Lev Bell, AJ Green, Michael Thomas, Russell Wilson & Jimmy Graham, as well as a few others, although I don't particularly fancy going up to something like 10 teams in order to get there.

Antonio Brown is the one that eludes me. No matter how many times I try, I just never seem to fall at the the spot he goes.
Managed to get a 10 team dynasty league sorted, then my laptop froze just before my 3rd/4th round turn picks
Ended up with Hilton & Crowell, but fortunately I'm back to do the rest. I did manage to make my first two picks too, which I'm very happy with. Full results to come.

Oh shit. The Bills have waived Jonathan Williams.
Newest recruit to the Mile High City.
He's earning $500k just for being on their practice squad.

Started a random Yahoo league from 2nd.
Bell, Howard and 'Zeke are my first three picks. Woof.
Edit: No flex spot though :\

Your WRs are going to be shit though, you can't all get Demaryius Thomas in round 7
I really can't wait for all this to be back.
As I didn't post it yet, here is my match up from that league (where I got Thomas and my other ridiculous picks) against the reigning league champion, who should be one of the tougher teams:
QBs- Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins Vs Tom Brady and Jay Cutler
The projections have him edging this by about 1 point with Cutler letting him down big time. I'm kind of hopeful we can win this battle.
WRs- Mike Evans, Golden Tate and Jarvis Landry Vs AJ Green, Kelvin Benjamin and Keenan Allen
Projections have me winning this by about a point. Those aren't even my strongest WRs but I moved Thomas and Baldwin to the flex due to later games.
RBs- Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley Vs Devonta Freeman and Dalvin Cook
Projections edge it to me by about a point again. Cook is an unknown but Vs The Saints I wouldn't be shocked if he smashes his projection of 11 points, but I'm still hopeful my guys can do enough.
TE- Jordan Reed Vs Delanie Walker
Me to win by about 1 point again.
Flex- Doug Bladwin and Demaryius Thomas Vs LeSean McCoy and Pierre Garcon
McCoy Vs The Jets could be huge, but in a PPR I should win this, and projections back me by about 4.5
The Rest: Tucker, Santos, Denver, Wagner, Neal and Watt Vs Gostkowski, Boswell, Buffalo, Kuechly, H.Smith and Mack
He makes up some ground here, with the main difference being Buffalo being projected to go huge. He's projected to win by about 4.
So all told the projections have me winning by 2.5 points... which seems to be the story in all my leagues. If every player in every league could just score exactly their projections I'll be very happy.
Right, since you nerds live for this shit I might as well give you my other team I've just drafted.
14 team league, starting team is 1QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. Includes return yards, not just touchdowns.
QB: Cousins, Smith
WR: Hilton, Parker, Marshall, Snead (I think in the round I got him this was a decent deal even with the suspension), Patterson
RB: Freeman, Gurley, Coleman, Johnson
TE: Olsen, Cook
K: Janikowski.... who I didn't realise might be getting cut. :D
DEF: Arizona.
I feel like there's a shitload of what-ifs in there.

I think my WRs came out quite well actually:

I've managed to get an ESPN league draft going...
I'm the last pick :moop:

Interesting, especially considering I have CJ Anderson. Denver have about twelves RBs though, so still not quite as good of a spot as the Bills were.

Plenty of chance to grab a pair of studs there though. AJ Green falls to the end of the round pretty regularly, plus there's Michael Thomas, not to mention the chance of picking up Zeke, who looks likely to play this weekend.
Someone took Tucker as the second pick :D

Yea, those WRs are better than I expected, fair play.
Not sure why people are sleeping on Thomas. Denver may have the 5th best QB in their division, but he still put up over 1000 yards with him last season.
It's kind of sickening how much stock I have in Luck this year. He better come back strong.
Okay, so my dynasty team ended up as follows:
QB - Jameis Winston, Carson Wentz
RB - Isaiah Crowell, Ameer Abdullah, Derrick Henry, Samaje Perine, Jamaal Williams, DeAndre Washington, Jalen Richard, Wendell Smallwood, Orleans Darkwa, Zach Zenner, Kenneth Dixon (just for you, Mahow)
WR - Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, TY Hilton, DeVante Parker, Corey Davis, Cooper Kupp, Mike Williams, Paul Richardson, Mack Hollins, Kasen Williams, Will Fuller (we have 2 IR spots)
TE - Austin Hooper, Adam Shaheen, CJ Fiedorowicz, Vance McDonald
DEF - Jacksonville, Atlanta
K - Will Lutz
---
Computer drafted me Hilton & Crowell, whereas what I would've drafted myself was Cook & Mixon :moop:
Pretty sure we were all way out with player valuations, but it was good fun. Going to have to look to make a couple of trades though, as I ended up going for upside a bit too much & there are some clear areas that need improving. Those auto-drafted picks at the 3/4 turn really hurt me though.

31 players is even more than my Dynasty league, where I think we had 26. People complained the bench was too big, but I honestly feel it's on the small side. I'm not sure how I'll take to Dynasty, I can just see me getting to next summer and not wanting to let go of anyone.

He also got, what, 1000 or 1100 yards the a couple of years ago when everybody was bitching about the number of drops he had?
Sir Andy Mahowry
05-09-2017, 10:02 PM
He's hit at least 1000 in all bar 2 season (his first two when he was injured a lot) and prior to last year it was 1300 at least.

I've set this one to be a 30 team league (plus 2 IR spots), where you can only keep 20 players, so I'm hoping that I don't have that problem next season too :D
Currently, my main issue is that I'm utterly shit at RB this season. Considering trying to trade for one of the Patriots backs (preferably James White as it's 0.5PPR) or Rob Kelley to give me some immediate value, but I'm not sure quite who I'd offer up in return.

DT is one of those players who's super reliable, but not really exciting & doesn't have much potential to outdo what he's done in the past, so nobody wants him when they could take a flier on a potential stud. He's in the same boat as Crabtree, who's the one I tend to pick up a round or two later.
Browning
05-09-2017, 10:17 PM
Mine is 26 but you can keep them all. We also have 5 IR spots, so if I fill those I'll have 31 players to think about. In an ideal world I'll keep 18-20 and have a few draft picks, but I'm not convinced that'll happen. We will see.
I'm not really sure how Year 2 dynasty drafts work. What is the usual way of doing it? I'm guessing Reverse standings order and no snake?
No idea either :D Reverse standings from the previous season definitely seems the fairest way to do it, but I'm not sure how it works in regards to some teams choosing different numbers of keepers than others & how that affects the draft.
Got a whole year to get that sorted though.
Suck It Gravity Draft
1) Devonta Freeman (RB)
2) AJ Green (WR)
3) Isaiah Crowell (RB)
4) Carson Wentz (QB)
5) Wille Snead (BEN)
6) Kirk Cousins (BEN)
7) Zach Ertz (TE)
8) Ameer Abdullah (BEN)
9) Adam Thielan (BEN)
10) Darren McFadden (BEN)
11) Rex Burkhead (FLEX)
12) Zay Jones (WR)
13) Joe Flacco (BEN)
14) Cameron Brate (BEN)
15) Cairo Santos (K)
16) New York Giants (D/ST)
For some reason I've been drafted into another league and I now for some fucking bizarre reason I cannot access the draft lobby :cab: :moop:
You're definitely getting better at this Pleb. Stop drafting Adam Thielen though :D

Do I go with Maclin or Mixon? The alternative is to drop someone (Bortles most likely, but I shouldn't really neglect back up QBs as my 2 starters share a bye week) and add either Jason Witten or Robert Kelley, someone like that.
Already put in Bilal Powell for one of them.

Why they couldn't move the game to one of the stadiums that's empty this weekend I don't know.
16 straight weeks is going to be hard on them 2. Especially as both would ideally like to be earning a wild card spot.
That's probably going to ruin both teams in the last month of the regular season :moop:
The urge to start Matt Forte in my leagues this week is disturbingly rising...
Week One TTH 2017 Preview
Some interesting week one matchups brewing in the TTH 2017 Fantasy League. Believe In Plobs (116.82) faces Agholorious Bastards (127.09) in what will ultimately become the Ezekiel Elliott and LeVeon Bell shit show. Believe In Plobs would probably have to hope and pray to the football gods that Cam Newton decides to actually turn up this season. On paper this is the battle of the QBs but we all know where this matchup is headed. Golden Grahams (122.20) and Equable Rogues (121.83) looks to favour the Golden Grahams if you believe the projected scoring. Demaryius Thomas may prove to be the only player that could fuck up Golden Grahams’s chances of getting the all important W if his questionable groin injury proves to be that critical.
Magic Mike XXL Evans (113.34) will more than likely get decimated by God Hates Jags (128.59) unless a fucking miracle happens by Marcus Mariota going on a fucking tear. With the postponement of the Miami Dolphins game against Tampa Bay moved to week 11, it has already impacted the roster of BiLOL Powell (107.78) as at least three of his players would have been legit starters for week one against Welby Wolves (107.90) who has Aaron Rodgers to help then win what would be a very tight matchup on paper. Last but not at all very least is the Baz’s Bumbandits (112.75) who will probably have to find himself a massive couch to hide behind as he faces the Miami LOLphins (120.52) who has Big Ben and Julio Jones in his starting lineup to probably give Baz’s Bumbandits the loss that he probably doesn’t want if he wants to avoid getting the “El Plebbo” wooden spoon this season.
TTH 2017 Season Projected Standings
Golden Grahams (12-2-0)
Welby Wolves (11-3-0)
Equable Rogues (10-4-0)
Agholorious Bastards (9-5-0)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
God Hates Jags (7-7-0)
Miami LOLphins (7-7-0)
BiLOL Powell (5-9-0)
Believe In Plobs (5-9-0)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Baz’s Bumbandits (3-11-0)
Magic Mike XXL Evans (1-13-0)
Top eight goes into the end of season league playoffs with the top four going for the championship as you may of already gathered. Baz's Bumbandits and Magic Mike XXL Evans are favourites for the "El Plebbo" which is :D if anything. Don't rule out BiLOL Powell and Believe In Plobs in fighting it out for that hideous last spot. This has the making of Equable Rogues defending their championship crown unless the commissioner has everything else to say about that
I'm gonna go with my gut this week and if it doesn't work, I'll probably just play the ones Yahoo says will score more, going forward.
The moved game doesn't affect me, right?
Nope. In fact it's only Ian and Fay's Fall Guys that have been impacted I believe.
I have? Damn it.
Edit: I remember drafting Ajayi. I'll have to check for the others.
Sir Andy Mahowry
07-09-2017, 06:31 PM
Yeah because clearly Mike Evans would have been on my bench.
I forgot about Mahow trades
I'm not defending, I'm pretty sure about that - Gray Fox is a pretty big favourite in my book. I'm hopeful for a playoff spot though.

Now we're here I thought I'd share my match up from my other league.
https://i.gyazo.com/453f8a811927c0f7f911b91bde8a6a2e.png
The loss of Evans in week 1 means I lost my projection of bettering my opponent in every skill position. It has lost her both DeSean Jackson and Jay Ajayi who were both arguably likely to start, so swings and roundabouts. No Luck also hinders Hilton a lot, but due to stupid rules I can't change him out without dumping him on waivers.
I've taken a gamble of sorts in not promoting Stafford from the bench and picking up Taylor. The Jets are a contender for #1 pick in 2018 but do at least have a somewhat capable run defence. You get no individual points for returns so Hill should be less of a factor, while Nelson ages another year and plays one of the toughest defences in the league.
My only 2 players across both leagues to play tonight is Kelce, so hoping for him to get some yards and also, Gillislee. He's more of an unknown at this point but if he retains his goal line work load from Buffalo I'm in luck. I'm hopeful of a good win in the work league while expecting a close game of it against Pleb.
I've really missed this.
Browning
07-09-2017, 11:27 PM
I'm in the annoying position of starting the Pats DST in 2 leagues but facing them in another, meaning I'm not really sure what I want from them. A good game but not as good as Carolina would probably be the ideal.
I also face at least Gronk and Brady in 1 league each.... so hopefully Gronk limps off injured on the first snap (which is a hand off to him, which he fumbles and loses).
I completely forgot that I had Tampa Bay as one of my D/ST in one of my random leagues so I've replaced them with the Buffalo Bills and now I feel fucking dirty doing that :sherlock:
Sir Andy Mahowry
08-09-2017, 12:53 AM
Decided last minute to take out Tyreek Hill for Mike Gillislee in one league.

Just the casual 40 points on your debut for Hunt. Kelce basically the only guy to not get good points is a bit annoying.

Well that's one league I don't need to pay attention to Sunday...
Hunt aside the rest of that seems to have gone well for me.
KAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM :alan: :hail:

I took him early R2 in another league, and I probably would've taken him if he'd got back to me in R2 in our league.
Kareem Hunt will be better than him anyway :harold:

09-09-2017, 06:19 PM
Has there been a better debut than his?
Nope, most yards from scrimmage in a debut of all time, I believe.
At what point do we just hand the championship to Dan already?
Sir Andy Mahowry
09-09-2017, 08:40 PM
After only 1 game in the whole season has been played ofc.
It's logical.
If you want to just give me the trophy now & we can just do the rest of the year unofficially for the lulz that's fine with me.
Browning
09-09-2017, 11:17 PM
So I had a free add in dynasty with Mike Williams being ruled out again and placed on IR for my team, and I've gone with Coby Fleener. It was a tough choice between him, Eli and Chris Thompson (it is a PPR) but I edged to Fleener because all of my TEs (Henry, Howard and Hooper) have question marks and I need one to pan out. I do note that, inexplicably, John Ross has been dropped though. I'm contemplating if he is worth a waiver add but I do note that because of when he's been dropped he stays on Waivers until Wednesday with everyone else, so I guess I'll weigh it up after we see everyone play.
Sir Andy Mahowry
09-09-2017, 11:19 PM
Ross would be a brilliant add in dynasty.
Browning
09-09-2017, 11:22 PM
I agree. I'm number 3 in waiver priority and the 2 ahead of me are the 2 I'd be least worried about sniping him to be honest, but we shall see. Unless someone else really breaks out over the week or I get some injuries that give me another need, I think he'll be the guy I target.
Yeah, get John Ross for sure. Not sure why someone would drop him so quickly, especially in dynasty :cab:

Cooper & the Steelers DEF making a nice start to the day. Also pretty happy with having to start Carson Wentz in my dynasty league so far.

I knew Palmer was a mistake but I didn't see any way back with Carr as Cooper would nullify him. Game was over anyway so took a punt.
My other leagues are also shit.
My QBs in my four Yahoo leagues are Dalton, Palmer, Cousins & Bradford. I think they have less than 5pts between them so far
Wentz was doing well in my dynasty league until the pick six. At least Corey Davis is getting a decent number of catches though. Also, I have the Jags in one Yahoo league & the dynasty, where they're currently scoring 26pts.

Looks like a win against Pleb. It's Zeke, Carolina and kicker v Wilson, Baldwin, Cobb and Packers. I have a 45 point head start. Good part of this is any TDs scored by his QB actively take points off his defence.

My main league and TTH are easy losses this week.
My 4th league, the one where I had the ridiculous draft, looks like a rather routine win.
My dynasty still hangs in the balance, but Garcon and Nelson are getting enough catches here to fuck me over. I currently have a 37 point lead (which isn't as much as in a normal league when you get 1.5 PPR) with the Panthers and Watkins playing now and Keenan Allen and Hunter Henry playing tomorrow. He has Garcon, Nelson and Crosby playing now and Dak and Demarius to come.
The Panthers turnover makes it a 40 point lead. It's going to be damn close. If we lose the blame is squarely on the Allen Robinson injury and Kirk Cousins playing like one of my cousins would have.
Edit- Oh and Lev Bell being a cunt.
Well I'll be losing both of my games. Start as you mean to go on.

TTH- Lost easily, of course. As I said I knew Palmer > Carr was dumb, but it was my only hope. Glad it didn't cost me.
Main League- This was all but over, but the late games have spun it. Rodgers missed projection by 10 points, Nelson went over his, but he had Olsen and Benjamin who also did fuck all and Montgomery for me did a lot better than expected. All in all the situation now is he leads by about 8 points but only has Zeke left to play where as I have Diggs, Beasley and Allen. Beasley is a last minute replacement for Odell, which does hurt a bit, but Yahoo rates my chances at 70% which is mental from where we were.
Dynasty- This one is too close to call, and has been up and down all night. I'm leading by 21 points and he has Dak and Demarius Thomas to play where as I have Hunter Henry and Keenan Allen. Yahoo rates my chances at 60% which is fair enough. If we overcome the Robinson injury along with Lev Bell still being on hold out and Cousins letting me down... I'll be delighted.
My 4th league- Seemingly done and dusted. I lead by 17 points and he only has Dalvin Cook (projected 11) and Harrison smith (7) to play compared to me Melvin Gordon (14), Demarius Thomas (16) and Denver Defense (16). Honestly I would take Demarius not showing up if it helps me win in Dynasty though. Not bad for a team that lost Evans and Landry late on.
My autodraft league I don't give a shit about- Also seems to be in the bag despite Robinson and Eifert both being shite. I lead by 48 points and still have Michael Thomas to play against his Rudolph and Vikings DST.

Been offered Gurley for Corey Coleman, Derrick Henry OR Keenan Allen in Dynasty. Tempting but not even sure which one I would go for if I wanted to.
My gut is to give up Corey Coleman for him. Allen in a PPR has too much value, assuming he can stay healthy, plus having just lost Robinson and White for the season (my IR is full already...) I'm hurting for starting WRs. Coleman could he slid in as a starting WR, but I think Gurley is too much value to turn down. He didn't have a great running game yesterday, but in our league he put up great points (he's the RB7 so far, my best was Jordan Howard who he beat by 3.5).
Turns out he meant Hunter Henry not Derrick..... that's probably a no go as I don't have great options at TE.

So in my work league someone dropped Blount and Watkins on Friday for Martin and Martavis Bryant. Landry was also dropped.
I'm very interested in one of the two receivers. Having Hilton and Crowder to supplement Evans was a good plan on paper. However the Colts looked turgid without Luck, who looks now out through til mid-October. As such Hilton is now a pretty meh pick and I can only hold 3 WRs at any one time.
Also the Johnson news had me look at the guys team with him, but his 2 other options are Mixon and Gillislee. I could make a play for one of his WRs(Green, Cooper and Larry Fitz) or try and tough the situation out until Luck returns.

Torn between Cohen and John Ross for my waiver in Dynasty.
I don't really need Cohen, especially now that I got Gurley in a trade, but being that Howard is one of my starters, it probably makes sense to get him. Ross on the other hand fills a more specific need in my team (a replacement for Coleman/Robinson/White) but I need him to get on the field as my IR is full.
I also need a new Kicker (I should have fucking stuck with Lutz like I said I would, but I hated all the Monday night stuff and went back to Prater) but can't use a high waiver on one.
Fuck nights with 2 monday night games. Hopefully that doesn't happen again this season.

12-09-2017, 09:42 AM
Lost one by less than 3 poiints.
I should have never trusted a Younghoe.
Pretty good start to the fantasy season for me:
TTH League
Carried by Kareem, obviously. The two Bengals did nothing for me, and I should've started my boy Cooper Kupp, but whatever. Very happy I picked Melvin Gordon over DJ as my keeper.
Yahoo League 2
DJ getting injured hurt a bit, but I have Diggs & Cook, Lutz & the Jags DEF, so we still ended up winning by more than 30pts. Gonna need to explore the RB options on the waiver wire though, as I also have Doug Martin, meaning my only two available RBs are Cook & Bilal Powell.
Yahoo League 3
Good win considering my WRs group was missing Evans & Parker. Martavis did nothing, and Maclin ended up with more than half my total WR points for the week. This is the league where I benched Hunt for McCaffery, but Bradford, Zeke & Lutz combined to give me a 13pt victory.
Yahoo League 4
Closest one of the week. Nobody really stood out, with Gurley's 15pts the highest from any offensive player. Once again though, I have the Jags DEF so Brandon McManus' 6pts last night were enough to give me a 4pt win.
Dynasty
Jags DEF again, so that plus Hooper & Kupp was enough to give me a huge lead on Sunday. He had Diggs & Allen, but still lost by 60pts. He had the Steeler DEF on the bench for the Patriots, and he'd taken the gamble on OBJ playing, but there was no way he could've won even with those changes.

TTH League: Dead by Thursday night. Oh well.
Main League: I cannot explain what's happened here. In the early games I had my QBs hit their projection, Green and Reed disappointed, Crowell missed his narrowly and defensively Neal and Watt did nothing while the Patriots defense were shit. Meanwhile Ryan disappointed a little for him but Hopkins went off, Fitz had a solid game and Buffalo's defense were considerably better than New England. Things turned around drastically in the late games where, despite Rodgers and Nelson combining for a TD that crippled me, Ty Montgomery and Gurley both did a job while Olsen and Benjamin let him down huge. I was then installed as the heavy favourite and even a big game from Zeke couldn't save him as Diggs won it before Allen even saw the field. I ended up at the top scorer in the league too with 215 points. Next week I take on the guy who beat me in Dynasty and the projections like him to beat me, but he only put up 163 points in week 1.
Dynasty: A heart breaking loss by half a point. I got all the marginal decisions wrong and in the end it killed me. I had Lutz installed but went back to Prater... I very nearly put in Fleener over Hunter Henry last night and I once again trusted Allen Robinson. The injury is the main reason for the loss, but Lev Bell putting up a pathetic 9 points can't be over looked either. We deserved to win this, but it wasn't to be. We look to rebound against the league's lowest scorers who auto drafted having added Todd Gurley via a trade.
4th League: Not even close as we win by over 30 points. His 2 QBs combining for 4 points (Brady 9, Dalton -5) to my 35 (Despite Cousins being shit) obviously helped a lot. He did with a few positional battles, but the game wasn't close. This it the league where I got Demarius Thomas in the 7th so hopefully it'd a sign of things to come and we can dominate it.
Autodraft League: This league is ruined by the cunt who dropped Evans, Fournette and Allen. Not sure what the point is in carrying on, but I'm only there a a favour to a friend. Me and him are the only competent players and I'm already planning for a super bowl against him. Fully expect him to add 2 of the above while I have to settle for one of them. I started Allen Robinson, Jeffrey, Crowell Michael Thomas and Eifert, all of which sucked, and still won by over 40 points in a league with the same roster size as TTH... so that should tell you the level of competition.

TTH League: Mert :harold: West, Lutz (former Baltimore tryout) and the Ravens D beasting it.
$40 buy in league: I was expecting to lose by 12 points and it looked like I was going to get roasted after opening night as Gronk stunk for me and Tyreek Hill starred for him. Fortunately the Ravens D (I had them and he had Dalton) swung it into my favour. Only Ravens D, Keenan Allen and Will Lutz gained more than their projection. My RBs (Derrick Henry and Sproles, luckily I have Ajayi waiting) stunk so I'm going to be in trouble moving forward.
Smaller IDP league: Was looking shaky as he had Bradford who had destroyed the lead I had but the TD thrown to Rudolph (on my team) sealed my win thankfully, had that TD not gone to him I'd have lost. I left Hill on the bench which wont happen again.
Huge fuck off mega IDP dynasty league with 1 million roster spots each: My offence was fucking shit with only Cousins, Miller, Howard and Walker getting double figures (there are so many bonuses that anything lower is horseshit) with Doctson even getting 0. Luckily Mosley (fuck you Browning), Fletcher Cox, Glover Quinn and Brandon Graham pushed me just over my opponent.
Random Yahoo draft: My only loss this week (I think it was the only one I was predicted to win too) by a margin of 2.5, or the Younghoe Koo miss. Greg Olsen and Lev Bell (dickhead) didn't help either too but I still should have won.

If it makes you feel better, I've picked up the Baltimore defense in my main league.
Mosley wasn't very good once again in it though. He put up 10 points which wasn't in the top 25 for his position, though it was better than Wagner that I went with.
May need to replace Wagner in my 2 IDP leagues.

My leagues are kinder to IDP's. He got 16 points in the smaller one and 20 in the bigger one. Only Gillislee and Hill (bench) scored more than him in the smaller one for me and he was only outscored by Brandon Graham in my second.
Just seen that I predicted every match correctly in the pick'em
Believe In Plobs (TTH League): Got massively bumfucked by Gray Fox the sexy fucker. My Wide Receivers and Running Backs (apart from Jordan Howard) did fuck all and Amendola is concussed which shouldn't affect his flex spot hopefully. I think I may need a new team and badly :D
All About The Angles (Yahoo League 1): Thielen (), Coleman, Howard and Mariota giving me the huge W against a guy who was hoping that Brady didn't shit the bed on Thursday night.
The Pleb Train (Yahoo League 2): Tied...(https://postimg.org/image/8jjt65e51/)...literally cannot complain about this matchup.
Holy Matt Ryan (ESPN): ...aka the team I couldn't access the draft lobby for but besides the point I won this matchup and I dunno how but all I know is that Matt Ryan and a Rams Defence carried by team to a tight win.
Suck It Gravity (ESPN): Lost because of a shite Kirk Cousin and a rampant Kareem Hunt. Waivers are needed badly for this league as well.

I've decided not to Waiver claim anyone in Dynasty this week. John Ross is the guy I'd want but I feel like he's going to clear waivers and I should be able to add him for free in the morning. People just aren't looking at injured guys at all in that league. If I miss out, oh well, I need to save the high waiver for someone who can help my team currently.
My main league doesn't have waivers (I know...) so I already added the players I posted before, plus the Ravens DST, so that's been a good week (Even if Fay's Fall Guys beat me to the bigger waiver targets).
In my 4th league I'm considering putting in a claim for the Ravens DST. My team is really strong, but I don't fancy the Denver or Minnesota DSTs this week looking at their match ups. It does feel like a waste when I have 2 of the best units in the game, but my match this week could be close. I'll probably put in a claim for them and drop Kenny Shitt.

Due to Cousins struggling (fucking hurry up and come back Luck...) coupled with the fact that people like Robinson went on IR at a point where I couldn't replace them due to everyone being on Waivers, I've got 5 fucking QBs in my Dynasty league excluding Luck (Cousins, Tyrod, Bradford, Cutler and Mahomes). I desperately need to cut/trade 1-2 of them to get some back up WRs (behind my starters, Hopkins, Watkins, Cooper and Allen, I only have Sterling Shepherd and Ted Ginn....) but I have no idea what to do there. Mahomes is along term stash, Tyrod is the only one who looked decent week 1, Cousins is my "starter" but I'm concerned about him, Cutler has some lovely match ups coming if Cousins still struggles and Bradford looks promising plus may move next year to a better situation. I was happy to let Pleb have Wilson back but he's had Bradford now so enjoy a free Russel Wilson, whoever is 1st priority. As for my waivers it was either Cohen or Golladay. I'm a bit lacking in case of sudden Zeke suspension, so opted for the RB.
Onto my work league and things have got interesting. I have received a trade offer of LaGarette Blount, Julio Jones and Antonio Gates for Zeke Elliott and Travis Kelce. Considering I have Howard and Shady in place at RB already it's tempting to negotiate. It essentially boils down to swapping RB 2 for WR 2.
I've also been asked to name my price for Mike Evans by another player. Said player has also already offered me AJ Green and Njoku for Evans so there is a clear desire there.
Keenan Allen, Alshon Jeffery, Sammy Watkins and Randall Cobb all hit the waiver wire this week too. All of those seem better bets than my WR2 and 3 which are Hilton and Crowder. May well drop one or both.
Also offloading Luck for any price is on my list now. His return just moves further back with each day and he's a problem I just don't want to deal with.

I genuinely meant to have 6 teams in the Play Offs as per last year (I even posted about it earlier in the thread, I'm sure) but have just checked and it's currently set to 4. Any objections to changing it? If so I'll keep it at 4, but I did enjoy the last day drama before.

6 is better for last game drama usually. You usually get one or two streaking off anyway, but leaving it at 4 can have people out of it halfway through the season.

I'm currently mulling over 2 offers from 2 other owners.
AJ Green, Mixon and David Johnson for Zeke and Evans
This one is obviously dependant on how Johnson does in recovery. But I'd be able to store him on our IR til then.
The other is a Blount and Julio Jones for Zeke offer.
Would anyone make either of those trades?
Head says the first offer is more of a sideways move than anything. But I was wondering what TTH thinks.
I'm thinking the first one. Isn't David Johnson out for the entire season or thereabouts?
Zeke is miles better than Mixon, Evans is better than Green, and Johnson is probably out until December. I'll stick with Zeke & Mike, who are the two best players in the whole trade. As for the second one, Blount isn't a good enough add-on for me to swap Zeke for Julio.
Only way these trades become more worth considering is if we start hearing that a Zeke suspension is more likely again, and even then it'd have to be a full season 'commissioner exempt' one, as he'd probably still be out less games than DJ with his six game suspension enforced.

Johnson is done for the fantasy season, so no.
The second one I would try and replace Blount with a better RB and then consider it, depending who your other options are at both positions.

Didnt realise Johnson was out for quite so long. I had week 8 in my mind for some reason.
The guys other options at RB are Bell and McCaffery. Mine are Shady and Howard.
I had Hilton and Crowder as my other 2 WRs but as both looked in turgid offences in W1 I've picked up Allen for the latter.

Week Two TTH 2017 Preview
With week one and the rise of Kereem Hunt already in the history books for the revamped TTH Fantasy Football League we head into week two in what we can describe it as utter carnage and complete stupidity. The owner of Believe In Plobs (114.07) must have had a massive MELTDOWN as his waiver claims were fucked up as he sensationally dropped QB Russell Wilson for Alex Smith then dropped Smith, tried to get back Wilson but instead went for Sam Bradford, what a bizarre plebroll that was. Would that affect his matchup with Golden Grahams (124.84)? He does have Derek Carr who is playing the Jets this week who is projected to massively outscore Cam Newton at the moment oddly enough.
Baz’s Bumbandits (123.38) and Welby Wolves (123.29) could be heading into the league’s first ever decimal tie (or thereabouts) matchup if you believe yahoo’s projection shite. I wouldn’t. Let’s hope TB12 turns up this week then otherwise Aaron Rodgers and company will probably run riot as usual. The league’s early bookie favourites Equable Rogues (119.62) and Kareem Hunt will easily see off the Miami LOLphins (119.59) right? Nope, another tie (or thereabouts) apparently according to Yahoo! Someone fire the projected scoring stat guy and hire Pleb pronto. Magic Mike XXL Evans (123.44) faces Agholorious Basterds (122.39) in a WWE SummerSlam 2017 style monstrous match up with Mike Evans versus Ezekiel Elliott tearing down the house no doubt. The last matchup of week two is God Hates Jags (112.49) and Kirk Cousins versus BiLOL Powell (113.95) and Drew Brees in which both teams are hoping that everyone bar the Quarterbacks can score some decent enough points.
Current League Standings
Agholorious Basterds (1-0-0)
Equable Rogues (1-0-0)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Magic Mike XXL Evans (1-0-0)
Miami LOLphins (1-0-0)
BiLOL Powell (1-0-0)
God Hates Jags (0-1-0)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Believe In Plobs (0-1-0)
Baz’s Bumbandits (0-1-0)
Welby Wolves (0-1-0)
Golden Grahams (0-1-0)
Kareem Hunt sending Browning to the bottom of the pile while Mert looks to be holding onto dear life for a wildcard spot in the revamped offseason playoffs. Gray Fox and Dan hugging the top two then. As you were then gents. Will Sir Andy Mahowry challenge for the top two this season? I highly doubt it.
Apparently OBJ said he's dealing with a 6-8 week injury :cab:

My work league matchup for this week.
https://i.gyazo.com/e9775157c82b56060d8d756afbb41812.png
He's just become a dad for the first time so hasn't bothered to touch his team yet for whatever reason. But assuming his line-up doesn't change, I'm potentially up 3 players. Woodhead is obviously gone and he has no head coach. I'm hoping to avoid starting 0-2 here.
As for my choices, I only have 3. Keep faith in Stafford or stream Rivers for the week. Shady or Howard and lastly, whether to swap one of my TE out for Hooper.

Sir Andy Mahowry
15-09-2017, 05:47 PM
The right decision made.
Stop being a mong, Pleb.
Can't decide who to start in my third FLEX spot in my 0.5PPR dynasty league. Currently got Derrick Henry there, but I'm not feeling too confident given he's up against the Jags & only had five or six carries last week. However, my only other viable options are :
1. Corey Davis - also on the Titans, meaning he'll be up against Ramsey & Bouye, but probably their best WR. Also possibly still on a snap count.
2. Paul Richardson - a low volume guy that I'd be hoping caught a deep ball against the 49ers. He does seem to catch a 30+ yarder quite often though.
3. One of the Raiders backups (Washington & Richard) - they're playing the Jets, so maybe they'll get a TD when Lynch needs a rest?
My RBs are so shit in that league :D I do have a beastly cast of receivers though.
Browning

Corey Davis, no question. Henry is only going to be viable if/when Murray goes down.

Personally I hate having 5 teams (although one of them I pay no attention to other than set the line up) and would like to cut it down to about 3 for next season, but I doubt that'll happen. I just hate being in games where a player doing well helps me in 1 league and hurts me in another, kind of takes away part of the fun.
I really need a win in Dynasty today as going 0-2 would really annoy me, especially after losing by half a point last week with Henry scoring 0 and Robinson limping off injured after 1 play. I'm facing the "worst team" in the league but he's projected to beat me, mainly due to Brady. It better not happen.

We've had a HUGE trade in the mental IDP dynasty league.
Kareem Hunt, a 5th round pick and a 6th round pick for Marlon Mack, a 1st round pick and a second round pick.
Second team really wants to win this year.
Browning
17-09-2017, 11:20 AM
I don't really get how trading draft picks works in a dynasty league.
Let's say for example I trade Player X and a 20th round pick for Player Y and a 15th round pick.... isn't that kind of pointless given that we will both almost certainly fill those spots with keepers, and thus gain extra picks at the top of the draft? This is assuming the system that Mahow uses where the keepers fill out your board from the bottom up (which is what I intend to use in mine).
I've implemented a rule where if you obtain an extra draft pick in a round, you can still only have one keeper in that round. So for example if I trade a player for a 15th round pick straight up, I can't put 2 keepers into round 15, so I will actually have to pick someone in round 15, rather than gaining an extra keeper spot and thus an extra pick at the top of the draft. But I have no idea if that's logical or game breaking in some way, it was just the only solution I had.
Hopefully my league doesn't completely fail when we come to the year 2 draft. :D

17-09-2017, 12:01 PM
Opponent still hasn't altered his team, so I'm up a head coach(I have Seahawks who have 49ers at home) and a RB. He does however have players likely to make up those lost points. I have Evans back this week and have brought in Rivers and Allen to start. I'm not sure I trust Stafford enough to start him against a tougher Giants secondary.
Hopefully I don't go 0-2 here. I've never even started 0-1 in any league so it'd an odd feeling.
Corey Davis, no question. Henry is only going to be viable if/when Murray goes down.
Yeah, I'm leaning Davis, even though it looks like both Jags CBs will play. Not expecting more than 5pts from whoever I play there though.

What fucking sucks is my game in my main league is on a knife edge but he has Cousins and I have Reed, which is the opposite of my Dynasty league.... so everything they do is positive and negative for me.
I guess I just need Todd Gurley to run in 5 TDs and win both games on his own.

Had a tough situation. Both opponents have Falcons. If they ran the ball more, I lose in TTH, but if Ryan picks up the points I lose in the work league. I needed a balance between the two but 22 points from Freeman means I'm left needing a 33 point game from Stafford or I'm 1-1 in TTH.
In the work league, barring Golden Tate picking up more than 27 points, I also go to 1-1. What hasn't helped is my "extra players." I'm technically 2 up, with him having not players a HC and having played Woodhead. That combined with Rudolph and OJ Howard should have seen me out of sight. But again my RBs let me down. A combined 6.5 points between Shady and Zeke was blitzed by Gurley. Hence why he has a decent chance now. The way this weekend has gone, Tate will have the game of his career.

Main League- Taking on the guy who beat me by half a point in dynasty.... we record a very easy win. My only major let down was Diggs putting up 5 points which still covered DeMarco Murray. Some of the match ups were close, but we smashed it at RB where Gurley and Montgomery put up 58 points to the 15 scored by Murray and Cook. We lead 217-186 with only Landon Collins to play for him while we have Odell Beckham, or Shane Vereen if Beckham can't go. We move to 2-0 and should retain top spot.
Dynasty League- Despite the fact I really liked my team compared to his other than at QB/TE, we got absolutely smashed, going down 143-168 thanks completely to Brady and Crabtree (and also Kelce to an extent). His team is awful so this could really haunt us at the end of the season. We go to 0-2 and seem likely to be the only team to start with that record. Next week we take on the team I consider the best team (for this year, not for dynasty) so that's bound to be a win.
TTH- A win! Far from a convincing one, but I'll take it. Will move off the bottom, but likely not by much.
4th League- We currently trail by just under 2 points, but we have Golden Tate left to play. Assuming he can get 1 catch for 10 yards or so, we'll wrap this up. It seemed to already be done, by Ty Montgomery has given him the slim hope. With the top 2 struggling, I should move from 3rd to top of the table, although a BS trade (as per every year) may have made the owner favorite to win this league despite his loss to me last week. Might quit after this year because that literally happens every year.
Auto Draft League- Don't care, but I'm going to 2-0 as long as Tate doesn't get 17 points with a full PPR. He very much could do it (he did last week) but I hope not.
