It's dawned on me today that Futties is also a big fail so far. While the fodder's increased from opening packs the means with which to get them has also got harder. That Prem Cup has utterly fucked the PL SBC and the others are through the roof as people pile in on them and the supply of cards gets soaked up, so as far as fodder is concerned we're back to where we were.

Then you move onto the players worth packing in batch 1 and only about 10% are, which basically leaves us like any other promo, with the handful of desireable cards being absolutely unpackable.

The game is crying out for grindable menu content to improve the chances of packing the unpackable players, and there just isn't any.

So I see a 75x5 repeatable upgrade and think "finally a way to grind the menus", except it isn't because there's no way to grind the nine fucking silver rares you need for it. It'll also spike Rare silvers like fuck, which will make the last remaining league SBC's expensive as fuck (Particularly with the 82+ pick back).

In addition, we have an expensive Brazilian Icon pack (which you can get fucking Primes from) and a daily flash style challenge that gives a gold players pack.

Spent a bit of time testing some shit earlier and came to the following conclusion.

The 75x5 packs are a waste of time. Instead, open bronze packs, sell the rares and anything else you fancy, whacking the off league commons into the gold upgrade then buy the six rare golds you need to compete the 82+. I was doing these in batches of 5 at 30k cost and was getting much better back as a return.

Batch 1 had TOTY Kante in it, a dupe so I took hero Milito.
Batch 2 had VVD TOTS, again a dupe and then...

I thought so too initially, but decided to for these reasons:

I've exhausted all the SBC's I want to do and have nowhere to put fodder. The only things I have left in 'Live' are the two icon picks. I was going to do the 93+ one but realised it wasn't repeatable so I'd just run out of places to put fodder. In the Futties section I only have the repeatable SBC's left.
Fodder is so unbelievably easy to generate now (with the silver and gold common upgrades just needing bronzes) it won't take much time unless they release some competing SBC's, but I can't imagine what those will be. The 93+ shapeshifters pack will come back, but no biggie if I miss that as there'll all be in packs again soon and the Futties SBC's have all been so reasonably priced.

I've used some fodder in the club, but other than that it was just 50k of bronze packs opened to get the six segments chalked off and I've not even had to revisit the emergency yeet list, it's all shit I know I don't want or dupes going into the Dutch sex machine.

I am indeed, and they're honestly amazing. Special cards (mostly fodder tbf) are popping all over the shop.

Whacking Bronzes into the silver rare upgrade, which I then stick into the 75+ x5 pack and when I get enough surplus rare golds I do a few of the common gold upgrades (again with bronzes) and put those and the excess rare golds into 82+ player picks. Been rinse and repeating for 3 hours now and I've lost count of the fodder I've bagged.

Bar the start of the game and the repeatable 85+ x10 packs last year it's probably the most fun I've ever had on the game.

As an example, open a 75+ x5 pack, get two 86 rare golds and a dupe 82 Hazard, he goes into the player pick and out pops a 93 ter Stegen. It's not all like that obviously and there are some barren runs, but they never last very long, there's just too much in packs.

My 85x packs from the various rewards were nice

11 specials including Alisson and VVD from the 15 cards. Completed the 85 x 10 and the hero pick with those and the dupes above.

That pick is NOT worth it. Two Gomez cards, the prem Cole, SS Ljungberg and SS Ricken.
