Tbh, I’ve done Varane, a couple of POTMs, Dest and Martinez just from the duplicates. That’s on top of Hakimi, and I’ve 1900 players in the club. I only saved 60 mixed quality packs, though for every 10 I opened I created probably 3-4 more and I wasn’t very diligent in dealing with dups at all.

With where things are at, I’ll probably empty the rest into stuff tonight in the hopes of picking something else up.

Made 750k coins from 84+ chaffe sales yesterday and still plenty untradeable for whatever comes up.

Mbappe is making a real difference too. Won 6 on the bounce in qualifying with him. David remains my main goal threat, but Mbappe is precisely what I hope Martial would be when I stuck him up top, and I’m enjoying having Aouar back at RM, where he seems to excel at late runs and is defensively sound, allowing Hakimi to press on from RB.

Also getting used to Varane and he’s dominating 1 on 1s. Was worried when he so sluggish with an anchor, engine didn’t do much for him, but 8 Chem shadow and he feels much lighter, and his aggression really helps.

Tomiyasu, Mendy, Ramsdale, Tierney and Rudiger on the watch list as potential additions now Mbappe has rejuvenated the attack.

As someone who doesn't tend to get much involved in TOTY, I've found Future Stars to always be the best promo. It usually adds cards to the meta that weren't there before(usually TOTY just gives juiced versions of players you're already using).

Welcome back. I'd probably shoot it into packs now because TOTYs will be more valuable and even when you don't pack one, you'll get some fodder/a team to play for some objectives/do SBCs tonight. Also - check your preview pack in the store.

I'd say first focus should be on completing any SBCs/objectives with Future Stars tokens in them.

I used his ice card in the draft mentioned above. He felt very nice. Very slippery and came up seriously clutch with a hattrick in the final but I just dont think I would ever use him over FB Benz (or wildcard Morales) when I need La Liga.

Pulled the trigger on doing it this afternoon. Managed to get a few packs from the store that contained bonus packs and such. Got a tradeable Trent in my first pack, then a Kroos.

Along with the TOTW card I'd held since the web app, brings me to 80k or so.

Sent the rest into upgrades split between L1 and premier league. Managed to get a Sterling, Ramos and IF Di Maria. Not a bad little start for the club, but sadly that's all I could muster.

#1 change for me between 21 and 22 is having to use driven passes. Absolutely essential to change up the tempo and utilise space

Frustratingly, I’ve had 4 people RQ on me at 0-0 after being battered for 10-20 mins but without me scoring. So fucking annoying. On the plus side, I’ve had some great games with folks playing the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow or a 433 variant who’ve played aggressively.

ESR is now affordable. I’m considering who he might replace if I pull the trigger. 600k is a lot for an LM/RM in my team, whilst Mbappe has been supreme in this run. Ben Yedder is incredible at CAM…. So David? He’s one of the best strikers I’ve used...

Got good reds despite that thankfully, 88 Di Maria and 84 Toko-Ekambi. Had a funny game in the playoffs though, I'd got to 4-3 and just needed to lose for the final point to get my WL qualification. I basically moved my keeper from kick-off to let my opponent score, but he took minutes to pass the ball up the field and score the goal and then did a full celebration after I'd queued the pause. I thought fuck it, and carried on and beat him 4-1. :D

In previous versions Serie A has always been the best bang for buck. So I’ll likely start there.

Serie A has some very nice cards for pretty cheap - even the SBCs out now like Martinez/Rispadori/Giroud aren't bad plus your usual suspects like Dybala/Barella/SMS. Just looking at the prices now and WW SMS, Di Natale and that FS Damsgaard are all around 100k :cab:

Build a cheap gold Serie A team and took it into Rivals. First 4 games have been a breeze but I will say I enjoy the gameplay on PS4 better.

There's a few things I definitely need to get used to that have changed from '21. Defending seems a bit more sophisticated unless you choose to park the bus too.
