Presumably James might get a run at rightback (or is Azplicueta still soldiering on?) and Mount might get some game time because he's Lampard's pet, but, realistically, the attacking 4 are going to be all the expensive signings. Having faith in the young players was force of circumstance and it's clearly gone out the window now they can spend money again, probably rightly. Bit of a shame that they've gone from prospectively having 4 or 5 youth players in the first XI to, probably 1 at most.
