Yes, though those same players in the middle sometimes struggle to thread a pass through. Someone like Thiago is a lot more attack minded. I'd suggest if it is true, then it's maybe a move to have more ways of beating teams. It'd also probably mean he's on board with getting his fitness and pressing levels up.

A lot of games last season were won late or by a 1 goal margin. Perhaps this is a move to make it more comfortable going forwards. Or maybe Wijnaldum is going and Thiago is the best priced replacement out there.

He's going to want mega money too. Liverpool's midfielders (the '8s') need to cover the fullbacks, is Thiago going to do that? I'd rather trust Keita to be the locksmith or whatever you want to call that role when it's needed. I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.
