I have been on a bit of a deep dive and the entire thing was a veritable circus of cuntery. There were elements of corruption, with certain police officers being in the gangs pockets.
There was also a (at the time) Labour Councillor facilitating the release of girls who's parents went to the police. The gang would then drop the girl(s) off at a local petrol station with the agreement that there would be no further action.
But there is absolutely no getting around the fact that they were largely paralysed by race. The Labour MP of Rochdale at the time said as much:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2025/01/02/simon-danczuk-tony-lloyd-ex-labour-chairman-grooming-gangs/
And the original whistle-blower, Jayne Senior, who worked for Rochdale Child Protection had her reports amended by managers to remove any mention of race or religion and where they couldn't do so, they disappeared or were simply ignored.

I never thought I'd say this given how they're usually a foregone conclusion/a complete waste of time, but given how murky this all is there has to be a public inquiry.
Spikey M
03-01-2025, 06:18 PM
In fairness. That all came out of the Rochdale enquiry. There's similar out there about Rotherham. We don't know any of this about Oldham, which is presumably why they want one.
Spikey M
03-01-2025, 06:23 PM
It's also absolutely INSANE that not one person involved- outside of the gang leaders - has been convicted of anything. Not the people using the girls as prostitutes, not the family members that kept it quiet and intimidated people into silence, nobody from the council or the police. In fact, the only person that lost their job and faced any kind of investigation was the whistleblower.
Honestly mental.
Yevrah

Agreed, it's a disgrace. Specifically on whistleblowing, it seems to be an absolute disaster in the UK in general. I count myself lucky that nothing has ever crossed my path that would necessitate having to do it myself.
Lewis

I think a public inquiry is pointless because we know what happened and why. What we need is a big list of everybody involved, from direct perpetrators to enablers in authority, and for every one of them to either be deported, thrown back in prison until they die, or have their police and local authority pensions reset to zero. Elon Musk would be better off funding a load of high profile private prosecutions than talking crap online.

Djokovic getting pissy and saying that a pundit "made a mockery of Serbian fans and also made insulting and offensive comments towards me" and then refusing to talk to the Aus host broadcaster. I assumed the pundit used some pretty fruity language.... He didn't. He just sang back at some rowdy Serb fans "Novak, he’s overrated. Novak’s a has-been. Is anyone surprised? The geezer is an absolute fanny.
Remember this:
Novak Djokovic accused some of the Centre Court crowd of using a Holger Rune chant as "an excuse to boo" as his hot-and-cold relationship with Wimbledon took another turn.
Hundreds of fans greeted Rune winners, and Djokovic errors, with elongated cries of 'Ruuuuuuune' during the pair's fourth-round match on Monday.
Djokovic - a convincing 6-3 6-4 6-2 winner - felt the crowd were disrespecting him.
When on-court interviewer Rishi Persad put it to the Serb that they were supporting his opponent, Djokovic said there was more to it.
"I know they were cheering for Rune but that's an excuse to also boo," he said

The Southport Stabber has pleaded guilty. I can only imagine how much pressure he has been under to do that. A not-guilty plea and an extended trial is the last thing the government needs right now.
It'll be interesting to see how they sentence him. A guilty plea obviously usually comes with a lighter sentence, but anything less than life and people are on the street again, surely.

How has a young black kid managed to be caught carrying a knife ten times under tough on crime Tory rule and nothing been done about it? Oh wait, am I not understanding "found to have been carrying a knife ten times"? It's more the 'it's a disgrace a 17 year old can buy a knife off Amazon' messaging rather than the 'how the fuck was this kid who had every red flag going, was reported by multiple agencies and known to counter terrorism agencies buying a knife and able to act?'
They should create a new government agency in charge of reviewing every item sold on Amazon and performing a risk assessment on each and every one of them.
niko_cee
21-01-2025, 02:44 PM
Because the state was [is] utterly inept?
Given we know that to be the case I'd imagine outsourcing prevention to Amazon would probably be a marginally more successful strategy.
I just don't get how these comments representing THE LEFT not getting it. Services, often starved of sufficient funding and at known breaking point [may or may not be true of those involved here], or simply acknowledged to be not working by official government inquiries [known] lead to lack of action by incompetent government, leads to preventable deaths of innocent people. The subtext is that this is a race thing, that everyone is afraid to act or whatever, but I just don't see it. The contempt rules then bowling in and exacerbating this cover-up line obviously doesn't help, but again, they are the rational explanation, not some deep state metropolitan establishment conspiracy to not denigrate non-whites in any and all circumstances.

The age verification on distance selling is mental though. I've had cases of wine delivered to a 12 year old without an eyelid being batted. I've no idea if this happens on an industrial scale, but as a kid you'd be all over it wouldn't you? Amazon [or whoever] outsources it to delivery company outsources it to delivery driver and 95% of the time there is no check. It would be like if those self-checkouts only did age verification on the same basis as they do rescans in the supermarket.

The beauty of the distance selling model on age verification is also that in the event of scandal the responsibility is transferred to the lowest and necessarily poorest rung of the process. Culpable delivery driver gets sacked, although perhaps that implies a contract of employment which likely doesn't exist, and the world moves on.

It's the fact that the Home Secretary's take on the whole thing is not 'Why are we not picking up such cases when all the signs are there', but 'How can we stop nutters coming by weapons'. Isn't this just cherry picking one thing she said to suit your argument? I mean, she said a bunch of other stuff about point 1 as well and they seem about as committed as any government ever is [let's have an inquiry!] into answering that. When the answer comes back need m0ar money they will then ignore that as per general government responses to all inquiries.

I suppose the sticking point is that he stabbed and killed people of various races, so you can't really say it was racially motivated in a legal sense. However, the fact remains that he was obsessed with the Rwandan Genocide and was heard on atleast one occasion calling for a white Genocide, before putting together a library of anti white literature.
That's not to say he's not a very sick pup in various other ways, obviously. Just telling that it's brushed under the carpet, where it wouldn't be if it were a white man stabbing up a Gospel church before being found to have a load of books on Enoch Powell and Eugenics. The public are not stupid enough to not notice this and they can't hide it in a world with social media, so they need to start reporting on things honestly, regardless of demographics.

At the same time, the lengths the authorities went to at the time to squash information about him were very disturbing and betrayed that they place 'community cohesion' far, far above the truth. That must change or we will all pay horribly. We need to stop celebrating diversity and instead start rewarding unity.

The issue is, we already house millions of people for free (or heavily subsidised) via the benefit system. At the moment, we do so by pumping housing benefit and Universal Credit into private landlord bank accounts. Atleast if you have social housing, the money moves from the government to the government.

Is it just me, or does the death penalty start to make more sense as you get older? Like for this cunt. (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/clyz0v97257o) Just end him.

This whole business with the Chelsea lady footballer and the tax/police sounds fascinating.
Without wanting to unequivocally side with the yobs, I can definitely imagine being locked in the back of a cab and being driven somewhere that isn't where you wanted to go might be more than a little distressing. I'm also not having simply calling a police officer stupid and white makes something a racially motivated offence. Also, without wanting to go all Tommy Robinson tinfoil hat, it is interesting to note that any sort of description of the cab driver appears entirely absent in all reporting.

Don't vomit in someone's cab and refuse to pay for it to be cleaned if you want to go straight home, I guess?

Probably wasted more than a days worth of Marcus Rashford's taxes with this utterly pointless pursuit though, and they did pay for it, hence the matter before the courts only being the racially motivated public order offence.
Jimmy will be along to detail how many dog waste bins this could have paid for.

I see that ‘justice for Letby’ is gathering pace. Potentially another huge own goal for the state/media vs “what they’re not telling you” internet chancers.

I feel bad for the bloke but surely you say 'get a grip dickhead' when your kid who's only ever played COD says he's off to Ukraine. Someone I know was on about it ages ago, gave him a reality check and he soon cooled on it all.

Not in a Ray Winstone way, he was basically just fed up because he'd been collared at work for spending all his time looking at Sky Sports News or trying to finger the women.

She sounds like a scumbag that's getting what she deserves.
Given what appears to have gone down with the offended copper under cross examination what she deserves is probably going to end up being an acquittal, a platform to moan about how racist and misogynist the MET are and probably an apology. All care of the taxpayer.

Yes in a world where I am repeatedly targeted by strangers as I try and go about my business I have to try and make stories up purely for the benefit of you cunts.

Jet from Gladiators has gone running to the Daily Mail of all places to talk about how she was pushed into beating up her lesbian lover... Seems a bit like trying to get ahead of the story:

Imagine the same story but with Wolf, not sure it would be received as sympathetically by the papers.
'Yeah but she deserved it.'
Just leave, girl.

D’Campo told her he would “like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter.”
He's just Italian, leave him be.
Lots of rumours about D'Campo from people I know who said he was a wrong un. Not surprising. A convicted burglar.
Italian arrogance with food often transcends to you know what.
Makes you laugh, because an average person wouldn't get an ordinary job with that burglary conviction. ITV = we love you. You're exactly what we're after. Have you met our Philip Schofield?

Good to know I've got a good couple of hundred quid plus holed up in the kids' bedrooms.
lol at this comment:
She ended up paying double the price for it on Vinted, and thinks you shouldn't be allowed to resell toys online for sky-high prices.
1. Isn't everything like this on vinted, alongside probably all 'new with tags' stuff on there shoplifted?
2. If you don't want to pay sky high prices don't create a market for it you idiot.
Quite glad I seem to have entirely dodged the 'Sonny Angel' craze.
