A 40-year-old man has been charged with murder following an assault outside a pub.
A man in his 30s died in hospital on Sunday evening after paramedics were called to an address in Dereham, Norfolk at about 05:00 BST.
Police later established a serious assault had taken place outside the Red Lion pub in Dereham on Saturday evening.
On Thursday, Tyrone Busch of St Withburga Lane, Dereham, was charged with murder and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court.
The provisional cause of death was given as a traumatic head injury following a Home Office post-mortem examination.
Mr Busch has been remanded in custody ahead of his court appearance on Friday.
