"I have adjusted Theo Walcott's potential ability to 198, because anyone who knows the player well, knows that he will become one of the all time greats.

That Simpson one wasn't a penalty. Mane should have scored that, he put the keeper on his arse, pushed the ball to the right and then chipped it into Simpson. All it needed was a side foot into the corner, if you're already past the keeper there's no need to chip the ball. He needs to do more in those situations.

The second was a penalty all day long. It's the sort of luck you get when you're having an amazing season.

I've no idea how that game ended 1-0, should have been at least three goals.

Sod it, have the real thing...

TEAM

Increased morale, since the team has performed above expectations in this years season. I also increased team reputation slightly, to get us between Inter and Juventus (instead of between Sevilla and Valencia).

STAFF
Arsene Wenger
If we're going to play with Arsenal, that means that Wenger won't be manager. Which means that he'll take over another team, which is unrealistic in my opinion. So first thing I did was to make him Football Director of the club, making way for you to be manager but still have Wenger attached to Arsenal to some capacity.

Steve Bould
Seeing as he is head coach of the Arsenal U18 Academy, who won both league and cup in the 08/09 season with Bould as manager, I gave him 18 in the position of manager and 15 in AssMan. Also boosted his PA slightly + attributes boost.

Colin Lewin
PA & CA boost.

PLAYERS
Thomas Vermaelen
Boosted PA, CA and some attributes. Ticked 'Shoots With Power'.

Emmanuel Eboué
Boosted CA, PA, dribbling and finishing slightly.

Theo Walcott
Boosted CA, PA, and increased pace and acceleration to 20.

Bakary Sagna
PA & CA boost, ticked 'Runs With Ball Rarely' and 'Hugs Line'.

Alex Song
PA & CA Boost.

Cesc Fabregas
Attributes, CA and PA boost.

Abou Diaby
Attributes boost + ticked 'Looks For Pass...'.

Andrey Arshavin
PA, CA & Attributes boost + added FC to position.

Robin Van Persie
Attributes boost.

Nicklas Bendtner
PA + attributes boost.
I've also made some slight adjustments
.

Southampton fans outside joining in with "we're going to win the league" and clapping us out of the ground.

Utter cunts. As was the helmet with the 'Leicester Champions' scarf who was just desperate to get on sky.

Koeman is absolutely seething over penalty decisions in his last few matches. Pretty warranted too, but blaming the referees for them not being in Europe next season is a bit lol.

Bit of a joke after the way he treated Europe this season anyway. We aren't a million miles away from a European place but at the same time we've never really been close either.

Wrong thread or been drinking?

Nope. It's a continuation from my previous post, and Niko's comment.

Keep up.

Changed Hull's in game behaviour (reduced their abilities)

Changed Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City and Chelseas behaviours to correspond more to reality.

So, so, petty :D

Shit even I called it brilliant. Also, I've been at least six years on this place. :/ Having public access to my opinions from when I was 15 is not ideal.

I liked it when someone compared Walcott to Stuart Ripley and OP started getting a bit pissy and claiming he was the next Henry.

I might make a 'realistic Chelsea database' on this version. Swingeing cuts in all attributes and delete Falcao from the game.

Just like Henry, he is being trained on the wing at first, to learn how to start from a wide position and cut inside, posing a threat from a deeper placement. Both he and Wenger says he is/will be a striker in the end, but since he is showing many similarities with Henry, the coaching probably sees Henry's career as a good template for Walcott.

When he came to Arsenal, he had low morale after a bad spell at Juventus, so Wenger reasoned that playing him on the wing would take pressure off him. When playing on the wing, people don't expect you to score as much, so he could build his confidence there, and slowly work up to a forward position.

Worked out ok, wouldn't you say?

It's all in Wenger's official biography, interesting stuff.

Anyways, so Walcott is playing in a wider position now, to build confidence and learn the tricks of playing wide. Already you can see that he's starting to spearhead and play high up with high aggression and decision-making.

There is a reason he has shirt number 14, and you will know why within a couple of years.

:eyemouth:

The Walcott stuff was always the best.

Ha.

Anyway. This sort of stuff makes me seethe:

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/20160403/wenger-mentally-this-side-is-pure

They have gone through a bad period but, when you play like that [against Watford], that shows that mentally they are pure

"Winning games that are more or less meaningless, after failing consistently to win important games for three months, shows our mental strength."

Pure shite.

Does he have shirt number 14 because he's typically the third substitute used?

Not sure what the silliest aspect of those teamsheets is, but 'Ro-Shaun Williams' has to be up there.

That lol Theo Walcott thread is remembered for her going mental, but there was another lad predicting Messi-like returns if he got a run up front.

What's the point in having a 'youth' cup in which you can name Ashley Young and Phil Jones in your starting lineup?

And how long has Feruz been around for? Seems like ages. My guess is all but 3 of Chelsea's starting lineup are black.

What the fuck is Sam Johnstone still doing at Man Utd? I recognise him from what feels like having to get rid of him in every version of FM so far this decade, but he's never actually featured in the first team, has he?

That GS post is amazing. I remembered him saying he 'would' but that last bit caught me off guard.

Spend some time with NFL names, Floyd. I had a read through the draft and got about 10-15 solid lols.

Safe to say he won't ever be signing for Sunderland again. Really doesn't know when to zip it.

http://www.balls.ie/football/james-mcclean-is-ready-to-take-on-the-whole-of-sunderland-in-war-with-defender/329629

Switching things up a little bit, the Ireland international used Instagram to take one final dig a Kone and the people of Sunderland before hitting the hay.

"That face you make when you have more prem goals than the guy trying to mug you off has in prem appearances, wins and teeth the whole of sunderland have combined. good night godbless"
