Who will be sent of first - Ramos, Carvajal, or Pepe? Several wild challenges already.

Barcelona are just toying with them. I reckon there's a bigger gap between these two than there is between Real Madrid and whoever the bottom side is this week. Cavernously so.
Anyone ITK on this?

I have Ronaldo to score first at 6:1. Not looking great.
This referee is going to have to send about four men off.
Pepe is such a relentless wanker.

Pepe is such a relentless wanker.
I don't think he's going to have much choice. The ref that is. Yellow cards seem to have no effect on Real's reckless tackling. Barca making plenty of fouls too.
Got in there before I edited.
Though being a fud from the islands he might just adhere to Floyd's First Rule and bottle everything once he's booked every player on the park.
Bale reduced to taking long throws illustrates the gulf in class here quite nicely.

I bet the commentators had a load of 'Total Football' shit prepared for their opener as well.
Had that wanky little chip from Messi gone in I'd have had to turn it off. They'd have been insufferable.
Is it just me or is Suarez a bit of a let down when it comes to combining with Messi and Neymar? Missed the open net earlier and has messed up several 1-2 situations.

I never thought our manager (Karl Robinson) could come close to his previous levels of idiocy when he stated that there was money available in January to spend on our relegation threatened squad but he wasn't willing to do it because "I might sign 2 players and they might get injured".... but he has given it a run for it's money today.
We had a goal ruled out for offside, incorrectly according to him (I haven't seen it) and he came out and said that we got fined for our players surrounding the referee over a decision the other week, but when we "worked hard to improve that" we get punished for it. Are you trying to suggest if we'd surrounded the referee he'd have changed his mind? And how hard is it to say "Don't be cunts".
Seriously sick of the guy now. Come and get him, Villa.

The more I watch that the more mental it looks. It should really go about ten yards wide and high.

They're seven points behind with seven games left and they've showed no signs of being a side that has the mental capacity to go on a run and win the league.
Spurs are still the best contenders to unseat Leicester, but I think it's a stretch to suggest they're going to do it as well.

Spurs are the best contenders because they're only 4 points off Leicester and have out-performed Arsenal all season. But, I'll say it again, I think it's a stretch to suggest that they're going to do it. Think about how far you're reaching when you say that Arsenal are going to win their last 7 games and subsequently the league, when they've done absolutely fuck all to suggest that they will.

Apart from West Ham it's a piece of piss though. Everyone talks about Arsenal like they're an absolute shambles but they know how to turn it on at this stage of the season (just as Spurs know how to down tools and bend over at this stage of the season). The difference this time is that they aren't turning it on to nick into the top four, they're doing it from a better position.

City away probably isn't, depending on circumstances.
The bigger problem is Leicester having a run of eminently winnable games. I suppose today is the first ACID TEST of their ability to handle THE PRESSURE OF THE RUN IN. If they can take 9 or 10 from their next 4 then I'm not sure anyone will catch them. 12 and it's done.

I don't think I've seen an Arsenal side 'turn it on at this stage of the season' for a good ten years now. There's a massive difference between scraping into the top four and going on an 8 game winning streak to claw back a 7 point deficit and win the league.

If Arsenal win their game in hand they are one point behind Spurs with an easier run in. To say Spurs are in it and Arsenal not is stupid at this stage. Frankly though I can't see either pulling it off.
I knew Leice'ster were doping. Finally the proof is out. It would be massively surprising if there isn't top level micro dosing of epo and the like in the sport. It's prevalent in nearly every other sport and this one has more money at stake than most.
If Leicester are doping I don't want to know about it. It's too good a story to end with a load of bans.

Basically she was taking medicine for years that got outlawed in January. Not like she's been on illegal steroids for years and it was just swept under the carpet like Lance Armstrong.
Do you watch tennis? Sharapova was massive, so much that I'd say that only Federer would be bigger as they are both easily the most marketed tennis players.
It was a biggish news story for about two days though. Not significant for anything but properly keen tennis fans. Even most casual tennis watchers couldn't give much of a shit about the womens' game.
A football doping story would be massive. It's just a much bigger sport than anything else on the planet. If it was proven that top clubs/players were at it (they almost certainly are) the only similar story which could rival it would be Usain Bolt being done in athletics.
There's also a chance it's all a well timed shot at Leicester. The league won't want them winning this.

I don't think I've seen an Arsenal side 'turn it on at this stage of the season' for a good ten years now.
This is bollocks though. Granted, it's almost always been in a race for fourth place, but generally we always end the season well, and on 2-3 occasions recentl have clawed back some huge deficits with some impressive runs when we looked dead and buried. We tend to turn it on when we're written off and bottle it when we're fancied, as a rule.
The run following the appearance of these twats being the most memorable:
https://strongastheox.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/spurs-fans.jpg

Just in case.
Moving on: Wenger mentioned a few years ago about doping and how football is blinded to it, didn't he? When I think of footballers who may have taken performance enhancing drugs I can't help but think of those players who are classic late developers. Didier Drogba for example although he does a lot of work with drug agencies I think. For Arsenal I see the likes of Arsharvn. As it is I doubt much will come of it all, it's a huge carpet with plenty of sweeping room.

Is that four "Form of Champion's" 1-0s in a row now? The two Uniteds to finish the job next weekend.
The switch from hopeful offensive high-scoring football to grinding out 1-0 wins was executed so well by Ranieri. It's still unbelievable to me that they've pulled off that switch. +7.
That was horrible, absolutely horrible.

@StanCollymore I'd like Leicester to have a wobble. Then we can see if they have the steel to finish their incredible season as champions.

Collymore didn't say that, someone said it to him.
Deulofeu seems to find out what his next move is at the same time as the rest of us. Absolutely no plan when he gets moving.
I'm delighted that the season Mourinho combusted,Ranieri is going to get his league title. What an incredible achievement. Get him in at England.
Koeman is absolutely seething over penalty decisions in his last few matches. Pretty warranted too, but blaming the referees for them not being in Europe next season is a bit lol.
United have been their standard first level of boredom.
Was the Simpson one handball? It happened too fast to work out. The Huth one definitely was but I assumed it wasn't given because of how close the kicker was.
Simpson was but it wasn't deliberate and if it hadn't hit his hand it was hitting his body anyway. It would have been an incredibly harsh penalty.

Leicester City travel to Sunderland just before Manchester United go to Spurs. Don't see Arsenal being a factor. Certianly not if they fail to win at West Ham the day before
Thought the commentators were a bit harsh on the game, although "the type of game you forget by the time you're out the carpark" is a good line.
United's front four is looking quite good with them all roaming. Something to build off. Cue Mourinho ripping it all up and sticking Valencia, Rooney and Fellaini in there.

I would rather let Anthony Martial play up front and spend the money on actual wide players.
The 8 goals this season Martial? I suppose that can partly be attributed to terrible team performances / tactics, and the fact he's still developing. Not sure if he's an out and out striker, though.

God it does feel close though. I'd be absolutely gutted if we lose it from here.
We won't. Two wins and a draw will do it from here. We'll beat Swansea and Everton. We'll get more than another point from the rest, probably quite a lot more. The final whistle felt huge today. Properly under pressure to extend our lead, facing a good side chasing Europe who came for the win. But we held out.
This lot have got what it takes to close a season out. They've done it for the past two seasons, albeit under different circumstances. Okay the prize is much bigger now, but they know exactly how to get over the line and achieve their objective.

That's the one point that would have me believing. I probably haven't given them enough credit in being able to handle the pressure due to the unknown, but they were probably under even more pressure this time last season and came through with flying colours.

The best thing about him is the whole Liverpool transfer committee story.

He's been playing out wide all season and he's scored two goals fewer than Rooney, who has played the whole season centrally.

He will always get you at least fifteen goals a season, but I still don't think that Lukaku will ever have enough about him to be top, top class. Martial will be.

Pepe Guardiola. I reckon he's trolling.
Get him on the punditry. Imagine the fun he'd have with Fosu-Mensah, and Morgan Schneidstieger.
He probably thinks Adnan Januzaj is fictional.
Lukaku has said he wants Champions League and he has a pushy agent. United might finish 4th, but if you want Champions League you're probably gonna go somewhere that has it nailed on every season. PSG seem pretty likely.
