Even if I do it's going to be a colossal ball ache liquidating it all
Doing so will mean completing the adhoc SBC's will be far harder and Futmas far less enjoyable
It's a fucking expensive SBC that doesn't represent any sort of value

I have 765,397 coins on hand and estimate conservatively that I have 200k of utradeables I can put into the SBC's. Again conservatively that leaves me needing to raise 1m coins to get the little genius. I've been conservative with those numbers to guard against the price of the SBC fluctuating.

I have 3,125 players in the club, 500 untradeables and 1,170 bronze players, leaving 1,455 tradeable golds and silvers. I'd need to sell each of those at an average of 700 coins (factoring in the tax) to get close to the 1m. That doesn't count the bronzes and consumables I have, so in short, if I sacrifice doing anything else on the game and just work through listing what I have, I should be able to get him.

I'd recommend anyone with the necessary players, an 83 squad with at least one Englishman, do the Old Firm SBC for Ryan Kent. He's bonkers fast, a legitimately brilliant player with a Maestro card on him, and if we can see to Braga in February, which I fancy us to do, he'll essentially be an English Mbappe.

How are people getting the FUTMAS Flair objective done? I've just won a squad battle match four nil in which all four goals were overhead kicks scored by Rodrygo, who has the Flair trait, and I still haven't been credited with a single flair goal.

I've played five games now with Kent, shuffling my team slightly to fit him in, and he's on seven goals and five assists. He comes out of the wrapper with 98 acceleration, 97 pace, 99 agility, and 94 balance, so he feels incredibly nimble on the ball and if you can get even a half yard of space you can just turn on the jets and fuck off at speed down the wing. And if that wasn't enough, he has a five star weak foot and 85 finishing. At this stage of the game and with those requirements he's a bigger bargain than the POTM Vardy.

It’s not even really self relegating anymore. I only really play rivals when I need to do objectives and all the objectives require me to use a shit team so I’m going to lose a lot more than I otherwise would.

If just checked and damm. They have really watered things down. surely they will upgrade the cards like last year. The cards should be at least 86 rated for me.

I was 11-1 in WL and I had to quit out of a game because it kept on freezing and starting again. Left it for 10 minutes hoping my opponent would quit, but he didn't. I had to pull the plug.

It did but it’s rereleased with much lower requirements.


Ended up getting though a few of those SB games last night using that glitch. Scored a couple and then worked on unpacking since we only got home from the in laws last night. Very easy to do.

What's the best way to score an overhead kick?

If there's no difficulty requirement, set it to Amateur and dribble into the box. Turn away from goal and do kickie-ups, pop one up into the air then hold LT + B to do one. Rinse and repeat until you score.

I've seen this coming out a lot on Twitter now too. Nepenthez has stopped his RTG series through annoyance and there's a lot of vocal opposition to the way the game is.

From watching other people play it, it seems weird. Finishing just seems random after you dribble excessively about the box. Very few good passing goals seem to be scored.

Scream Chong and EOAE Schweinstieger are back out - Chong is a fantastic little player who operates above his stats. Probably my favourite player this version. Cheap as chips so get on it if you missed him first time around.

I’m gutted about the Championship SBC coming out now. It’s the one league that I hadn’t prepared for, mainly because I haven’t had the time over Christmas to focus much on FIFA. Managed to complete the MLS one for around 32k outlay and took Acosta, and made 40k back from duplicates alone. Tempted to run though it again as it is so easy to pick up MLS players on open bid, and the silver packs back are profitable right now.

I’ve done a bit here and there over Christmas, mostly just to complete Roussillon and Boulaya, and I also used the web app to do Bolasie, Diego Carlos, Renato Sanches, Shaqiri, Acuna and Mascherano.

Back home later tonight and I’m still off until the 6th so will get working on the icon swaps and hopefully get back into FUT Champions this weekend after 3 weeks away.

He doesn't have great links, but I was planning to take Essien as my Icon this round and he's made me think twice. I could take Prime Sol Campbell to give him a strong link then, assuming there are 24 available again, use the remainder on Pires. I have that Cazorla splitting time with Modric alongside Rui Costa at the moment and he's terrific. I'll definitely be grinding him out anyway, an 86 card with upgrade potential who fits my team and is essentially free is not to be missed. Hopefully I get along better with him but we seem to have similar player preferences.

Finally got the English rivals swap (which was the last I needed online) thanks to a 2-0 win after a rage quit.

The guy constantly had the ball (he ended with 65% or something) but was utterly useless in the final third. At times it felt like I didn't even need to bother defending as he was always trying to chain skills even when he didn't need to. There were a lot of times when he created the space for a shot but then tried an extra skill and my player could then take the ball off him.

His only decent chance came when I accidentally played a free kick to him and he just decided to run it at me as my defence had parted but he overran rather than squaring it for an easy goal.
