I've just realised that, in the three leagues I have, I'm playing against Lev Bell in two, and I own him in the other.

I'd actually be better off with him being shit this week :D

No he doesn't. Palmer needs to throw to someone else, and Rivers needs to throw to someone but Gordon.

Only thing that can save me here is a Palmer TD throw to Johnson. I need to be about 40 ahead before my opponent plays Ware, McKinnon and Big Ben, to be in with a chance.

Fuck off Gordon. Stop stealing Rivers's TDs.

If I lose in my main league having put up 234 points before Antonio Brown even takes the field I'm going to go fucking mental. It would have helped immensely if Rivers and Palmer hadn't kept throwing to the two cunts on his team.

I lead by 10 points with Brown to come Vs Boswell, Santos and Collins (the Giants safety). I'm still the favorite but knowing my luck I'll lose. Any other team I'd have put to bed by now.

Edit- Oh and I also have 7 minutes to come from Sanders, but I'm not expecting them to throw at all.

Dan
02-10-2016, 11:52 PM
Okay, so I have a 37pt lead, but Fox has Bell, Beckham, Maclin, Vikings DEF & Boswell left to play, so I'm going to need Pittsburgh of last week to show up again & Minnesota to give OBJ the Kelvin Benjamin treatment while getting shredded by everyone else.

Gray Fox
02-10-2016, 11:55 PM
I'm currently top scorer in my work league, with 98.4 to my opponents 71.7

He has Sanders still in play, with Big Ben, Ware and McKinnon.

I need a miracle. I'm either going to finish as the 2nd or 3rd highest scorer of the week, but most likely I'm going to lose to the top scorer so I'm not too upset. The bad news is I go up against the the only undefeated guy left next week. And he just got Lev Bell back.

Browning
03-10-2016, 02:22 AM
Brown.

Strangely despite being about 50/50 to win in my third league with Brown still to come I now have no chance thanks to Ben going mental. Still looks like enough in the one that maters so I should be 3-1 in all 3 leagues.

Gray Fox
03-10-2016, 03:46 PM
The only other guy I consider to actively know what he's doing(he's the only guy going 4-0 after this week is over if his result holds) has told me he wants Julio. I'm obviously in no rush to sell, but having AJ Green on my team means I'm still in a good spot should I receive an offer too good to refuse.

My weakest positions are probably RB, with Lamar Miller only getting 10-11 points a game, while consistent he really needs a score soon. My other need is what cost me the win this week in a TE. Fleener is just too unpredictable. Looking at the guys team he has Bell, Zeke and Gordon at RB, with Rudolph and Walker at TE. I'm not too sure a deal is going to be worked out here.

My other option is to go get Travis Kelce if I can. His owner already has Olsen so he could be more open, but people in this league do like to hog talent simply for the sake of not letting others have him.

So I saw Zach Ertz dropped in the waiver claims last week and thought he was worth the punt. I picked him up and news has just broken that he's "100% healthy" and cleared to play. Coby Fleener can get to fuck.

In other news Carson Palmer is in concussion protocol. As the Cards have the Thursday game this week, I highly doubt he plays.

I've picked up Hoyer in my main league which seems to be a yearly occurrence.

They reckon Palmer will start so if he does I'll probably have to go with him. If he doesn't, however, it'll be Hoyer > Mariota. If Smith wasn't on bye I would have played him no matter the opponent I think. I do wonder if there's any point whatsoever keeping hold of Mariota at this point. We'll see.

In all seriousness I'm never getting Ryan. I'm the only guy in the league at 3-1 with only one guy bettering me, so I'm waiver position 8. Not a chance he falls that far. People in this league chase the points like crazy.

I was looking to use Palmer this week but now I doubt he's playable. I'll take the 'chance' on Rodgers at home to the Giants. Now that Decker has returned to questionable I need to make a spot free on my roster to be able to drop/trade/add. Who goes? TTH decides.

I don't think Decker sees the field again this year.

Matthews is likely in a RBBC now.

One of those 2.

Gray Fox
04-10-2016, 06:03 PM
I've cut Decker and am attempting to trade Matthews. Our backfield is a right mystery right now. Sproles, Barner, Smallwood and Matthews are all capable, but there's no clear 3rd down guy/goal line guy/short yard guy yet cemented.

I wish I'd known this after the 2 opening games where Matthews saw all of the ball.

Dan

If it helps. In the past 2 weeks I've beaten the 2nd highest scorer of the week each time. I'm due some bad luck.

It does not :(

Two fumbles is 4pts, then the meagre amount of points they'd have got on those two carries would have been enough to put me over. Ah well, I'm still smashing the other two leagues.

Dan
04-10-2016, 06:17 PM
We've finally done business Dan.

I feel like I'm going to get the worst in the deal by a fair amount, but Cobb will be unlikely to get in the team most weeks, and Sanders was literally only picked up to be used in our trade, so I guess it's not that bad. I don't have to rely on Eli anymore, but Stafford will inevitably turn to shit full time now too.

Browning
04-10-2016, 06:26 PM
Ironically I had a waiver in for Sanders after DeSean, and expected to get him. If only some cunt had sniped Desean from me I'd have beaten Mahow. :(

But yea, the main reason I didn't accept Sanders straight up was how close I was to getting him for free. It's a bit of a gamble that Cobb bounces back.... but we will see. I have enough question marks at WR to make it make sense.

Zach Miller, Dennis Pitta, Ryan Mathews.

Who do I drop? Keeping in mind I have Olsen so don't really need 3 TEs (can play 2 if I want).

Gray Fox
04-10-2016, 07:10 PM
Miller is getting targeted by Hoyer. If the Bears see the light and finally ditch Cutler, Hoyer should keep the job until the season ends. I'd say keep him.

Coin flip between the other 2. Probably drop Pitta. It's worth keeping Matthews about to see how many snaps he gets if he's now healthy again. You could try and trade him away for the right deal if you really don't like him.

Browning
04-10-2016, 07:21 PM
Yea, Miller has out scored Pitta so far but been end zone dependant. Either way I'm keeping both until Friday/Saturday. I've only picked up Miller so my opponent can't. His TEs are Kelce (bye) and Barn Yard Dog (shit). BYD will come back to haunt me.

Gray Fox
04-10-2016, 08:33 PM

Week 5 Match Up:

QBs- Phillip Rivers and Brian Hoyer Vs Aaron Rodgers and Andy Dalton

Both of us are missing a top QB with Palmer injured and Brees on bye. I cant quite believe I'm being forced to start Hoyer, but 2 30 point games leave me fairly confident he can do well against the jet lagged Colts. Obviously I prefer his options, though Rivers has been solid this year so far. Projections- He wins by 8 points.

RBs- Lamar Miller and Frank Gore Vs LeSean McCoy and Devonta Freeman

Frank looked decent at Wembley and got a fair few catches, so I'll keep the faith, though my options are limited this week with Charles/Ware on bye, Mathews being shit and Dixon not likely getting a big role yet. Miller's tough match up though means I'm not confident here either. Projections- Me by 2 points.

WRs- Antonio Brown, AJ Green and Emmanuel Sanders Vs Demaryius Thomas, Michael Crabtree and Jordy Nelson

One of my holy trinity is on bye (Allen Robinson) but Sanders has looked great the past 2 weeks so I'm happy with him as an option. Prefer mine obviously but I expect 3 TDs from Rodgers to Nelson to bury me. Projections- Me by about 3.5 points.

TE- Greg Olsen Vs Gary Barnidge

Barnidge :D Watch him haunt me now. Projections Me by 4 points.

Flex- Travis Benjamin and Quincy Enunwa/Zach Miller Vs Julian Edelman and Jerick McKinnon

Benjamin's not hit the heights of that week 2 break out again but hopefully he can be useful. Edelman has been wank but Brady is back which helps him. Projections- Him by about 3 points.

The rest- Arizona DST, Crosby, Catanzaro, ???, R.Jones and N.Suh Vs Panthers DST, Bailey, Gano, Ogletree, Jefferson and Joseph

I need to find a linebacker before Sunday. Without one he is projected to beat me here by 4 points but when I put one in I'll probably be ahead. God knows who I will pick up though, I've had no luck with LBs so far.

Overall projection has him winning by 9 points but I should be able to close that gap when I pick up a LB. His LB is projected 13.5 points so seemingly I'm slightly winning the head to head positions.

Gray Fox

Big trade has just gone down in my work league. Odell Beckham Jr and Victor Cruz traded for Jamaal Charles. The guy getting the Giants is surprisingly a Giants fan, but I think he's got a steal there. Charles health and workload is an unknown, while Beckham is a big buy low target right now. If he doesn't smash it against the Packers then I'll be worried, but if you've come this far with him, you have to keep him.

The Third Half Fantasy Football League (TTHFFL) Roundup and Week 5 Preview

Plebroll AFC (0-4-0) vs Fay’s Fall Guys (1-3-0)

Fans and pundits of Plebroll AFC must be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at their horrendous win loss record with the owner of the team heading into a pre-game press conference describing this moment as a “fucking shambles” who is “absolutely fucking livid” at the way this team is performing so far this season in the TTHFFL. What makes matters worse is their week four opponent won their match without a starting defence in their starting IX. If only Plebroll AFC subbed Justin Forsett out of the squad before the 6pmGMT starting lock for Terence West and also subbed Jack Doyle for Jimmy Graham. If fucking only. Plebroll AFC may have to sort out his Quarterback situation before week 5 starts otherwise this horrendous slump is set to continue.

Fay’s Fall Guys didn’t start with a kicker which would of helped massively in their quest to go 2-2 for the season but instead settled for a loss which they didn’t really need coming this early in the season. To be fair they were facing Miami Derphucks and Julio Jones so we really cannot complain that the team didn’t start a kicker. They do however have the highest scoring Quarterback of the season so far in Blake Bortles so not all doom and gloom.

Sorry Plebroll AFC fans you might want to cover your eyes and ears on this, you are going 0 and 5 and that’s with or without the waiver claims. Just be glad that Tom Brady is still suspended until next week (Writer’s note: According to the league website, he’s exempt). Julian Edelman as Quarterback anyone?

Team Tebow Time (4-0-0) vs Baz’s Bumbandits (1-3)

Team Tebow Time used Monday Night Football to his advantage as he came from behind (literally) to win their matchup with The Inevitable Failures and at the same time go top of the TTHFFL standings. Team Tebow Time is now the only team with a 100% record in the league which can only give their opponents more fuel to somehow dislodge them from a first round bye in the inaugural TTHFFL Championship Playoffs. The matchup with The Inevitable Failures was a titantic affair with the lead chaning four times before Monday Night Football dropped. Team Tebow Time could of started Kyle Rudolph and Christine Michaels to further cement the lead but that would of spoiled the fun.

Baz’s Bumbandits finally snapped their losing streak by gaining a shock victory against the Welby Wolves with Cam Newton, DeMarcus Murray and Ezkiel Elliott holding down the fort for the side. This shock victory would no doubt help Baz’s Bumbandits as they look to seek a wildcard spot for the Championship Playoffs and hope not to fall victim of the Inaugural TTHFFL Wooden Spoon Playoffs. If Team Tebow Time don’t sort out their bye week players before the waiver wire hits on Wednesday then we are looking at another shock victory for Baz’s Bumbandits if projected scoring are to be believed.

Wet Pussy Best Pussy (3-1-0) vs The Inevitable Failures (1-3-0)

Wet Pussy Best Pussy completely destroyed Plebroll AFC without starting a defensive side for week four which is gutsy if you ask me, that or they knew they were facing a side who are winless so far in the TTHFFL. We could talk about how Wet Pussy Best Pussy used Derek Carr, Antonio Brown and Allen Hurns decimating Plebroll AFC but apparently the guy writing and editing this amazing writeup is still fucking seething over the loss to Wet Pussy Best Pussy so we’ll leave that there then. Fun fact here folks, Matt Forte and Charles Simms weren’t really performing well as Wet Pussy was hoing in their RB1 and RB2 slots for week four scoring under 5 points for the team. Food for thought for week 5 then?

Give The Inevitable Failures some credit, they went straight to Monday Night Football in the lead before Team Tebow Time ultimately took the final blow to give The Inevitable Failures an unwanted 1 and 3 record heading near to the halfway point of the season. With three teams on the same win loss record as The Inevitable Failures they are hoping to beat Wet Pussy to the punch…oh and by the way…START A DEFENSE MERT!!! (Travis Kelce in on a bye week just so you know)…

…urm…anyway The Inevitable Failures (if you follow projected scoring which you shouldn’t really) should hopefully take Wet Pussy to the cleaners. Let’s hope so for Plebroll AFC’s sanity.

A Gurley Has No Name (3-1-0) vs Welby Wolves (2-2-0)

A Gurley Has No Name faced The Tunsil Gas Masks in another tight matchup for week four which saw A Gurley Has No Name losing by about 6 points to The Tunsil Gas Masks. This matchup proves crucial to the TTHFFL standings as A Gurley Has No Name was knocked off the top spot by virtue of a win loss record (lol). It was basically the battle of the Quarterbacks as Phillip Rivers (18.84) faced Russell Wilson (23.86) and we all know where that headed.

The Welby Wolves wished that Aaron Rodgers didn’t have a bye week for week 4 as his backup Quarterback Kirk Cousins could only muster 17 points as they dramatically lose to Baz’s Bumbandits by a small margin. It came down to the battle of the heavyweights as wide receiver AJ Green (23.30) faced running back DeMarco Murray (23.90) with Murray coming out on top in dramatic fashion. The Welby Wolves didn’t anticipate that the Patriots defence would give the Patriots their first loss of the regular season. If only Michael Crabtree played instead of Doug Baldwin then the matchup would of went a different direction.

With trades and waivers going through as of writing this we can only imagine that The Welby Wolves would defeat A Gurley Has No Name. Clearly this is the matchup of week 5.

Miami Derphucks (3-1-0) vs The Tunsil Gas Masks (2-2-0)

Miami Derphucks had Fay’s Fall Guys to thank for not starting a kicker during their huge week four victory against them. Not much really to say with this matchup other than this is the team that has Julio Jones in his starting IX for fuck sake. Wonderful isn’t it? Carson Palmer is now officially ruled out for week 5 at the time of writing this wonderful writeup which makes the Miami Derphucks selection policy a bit all over the place with Brandin Cooks and Spencer Ware all on bye weeks. Will he have to rely on a Tampa Bay quarterback? Who knows? This is fantasy football for fuck sake so anything can happen.

The Tunsil Gas Masks must of thanked the LA Rams after their tight victory with A Gurley Has No Name at the end of their match. Other than Russell Wilson (who is on a bye week this week) who donned it for The Tunsil Gas Masks no other player has really stepped it up for them which makes this week’s matchup with the Miami Derphucks very intriguing indeed.

The Tunsil Gas Mask will hope to continue with their unexpected win streak as they are projected to win by a huge margin when they face the Miami Derphucks. The Tunsil Gas Masks however may have to look at their bench to replace their running backs as Javorius Allen and Kenneth Dixon are projected to score a lot higher than their starting counterparts.

Standings After Week 4…(aka the Race to the Playoffs and not finishing last)

Team Tebow Time (4-0-0)
A Gurley Has No Name (3-1-0)
Wet Pussy Best Pussy (3-1-0)
Miami Derphucks (3-1-0)
Welby Wolves (2-2-0)
The Tunsil Gas Masks (2-2-0)
Fay’s Fall Guys (1-3-0)
The Inevitable Failures (1-3-0)
Baz’s Bumbandits (1-3-0)
Plebroll AFC (0-4-0)

Another loss or two for Plebroll AFC would see them thinking about the Wooden Spoon Playoffs and hoping not to finish last as the season progresses. The Welby Wolves and The Tunsil Gas Masks are in danger of getting knocked off a wildspot spot as any of Fay’s Fall Guys, The Inevitable Failures and Baz’s Bumbandits could and will overtake them if they win their respective matchups.

Interesting Stats Around The League
• Baz's Bumbandits has now beaten their weekly score projection in each matchup this season.

• Team Tebow Time has started the season off on the right foot with a four-game winning streak.

• Wet Pussy Best Pussy earned the win this week despite not starting a top-30 scoring RB.

• Fay's Fall Guys has fallen short of their projected score each week this season.

• Teams have won 50.0% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (1-1 overall).

• Matt Ryan was left on Plebroll AFC's bench this week. His 35.52 points would have been the second-highest individual amount in the league.

• Free Agents Zach Brown, John Kuhn and Brian Quick combined to score more points than all of Plebroll AFC's starters this week (:moop:).

• A Gurley Has No Name was favored to win by the biggest margin in the league this week (25.82 points) but ended up losing by 6.42 points.

Lol at Allen. They've been projecting him to score 14 odd points every single week but he was a healthy scratch for the first 3 weeks and barely touched the ball last week. They've got a massive hard on for him and I don't know why.

Dixon though, yes, he will be in my team should he be declared fit this week.

Daylight robbery.

Match up for this week:

https://gyazo.com/38295a15d30d6b9fab477ef80239df98.png

No easy way to sugar coat this one, I've got another loss incoming. Bell is Bell and Zeke was on fire last week. Yet again I have another player up on a Thursday game. 3 out of the 4 weeks my Thursday player has done shit. Last week I had AJ Green and he smashed it, yet last week was my first loss. After scoring is done I'd still have lost had I played Julio.
With Palmer out of Thursdays game I dropped him and picked up his namesake. The Lions are the worst in the league at defending a TE and give up the most points to QBs too. So this plan is destined to fail. Palmer being out should see his replacement being a little more safe with the ball and I can see Johnson getting a lot of work. Beyond that it all looks pretty straight forward this week. I also snagged the Bills D as they were the best looking streamable option.

Elsewhere around the league, Dez Bryant has been dropped by his owner. I've put in a waiver request for him, but me being back of the line after picking up Wentz means no way am I getting him.

So long as he is on the field in any capacity Johnson starts every game. He's just too good. Got into work today and was offered Gurley for him. I laughed and the guy gave me the 'but it's a good offer' speech.

I've updated my line up, as has my opponent. Bright eyed among you may well notice I've made an addition.

Okay, an actual interesting trade offer has come my way.

CJ Anderson for Lamar Miller. I own Miller if it helps. Same guy owns Gurley, but I figure he's off the table. While I believe Miller to be the more talented of the two, the Texans looking trash this season isn't helping him. Denver are more likely to be up in the game, while the game is close, and to their run happy system CJ is under less pressure.

I'm leaning towards accepting the offer on this one but obviously I'm wondering what you guys think?

Sir Andy Mahowry

Browning

I'd keep Miller. He's getting the most rush attempts of anyone in the league, it's only a matter of time until he starts finding the end zone, and he has a beautiful schedule coming up. This week and the Denver game aside he faces Indy twice, the Lions, the Chargers, the Jaguars and the Raiders. I think Anderson's is pretty nice too IIRC, but I get the feeling Miller is going to turn the corner soon. Keep the faith.

Rivers grabbing a late TD and a few passes to Benjamin (though annoyingly not a TD to him all game) has given me a bit of life. I'm 53 points up with Olsen, Crosby and Kwon Alexander left to play against his Rodgers, Nelson, Gano and Carolina. Projections have me to win by 12 points, but I don't fancy it. Two massive moves for me this morning, bringing in Hauschka and Bosa for Catanzaro and Suh. Season defining for sure.

Browning
11-10-2016, 10:31 AM
I actually won in my main league, despite the spell of him getting 4 unanswered TDs in about 3 minutes which turned my 60 point lead into a 29 point lead (I needed about 40 to be the favorite at that stage). Rivers managed to regain most of it, and Olsen was fucking superb last night. Not even close in the end and I won 245.92-199.74.

Such a QB dilemma this week however. Rivers is Mr. dependable but I'm not inclined to start him against Denver. My other 4 all have fantastic match ups though, Palmer Vs NYJ, Mariota Vs the Browns, Hoyer Vs The Jags and Smith Vs The Raiders. My heart says Palmer and Smith, my head says Palmer and Mariota. That is, of course, assuming Palmer is cleared, but that appears to be a certainty. In an ideal world I could cut Hoyer, but you just can't cut a guy who has put up 30+ points every game when your QB1 has only managed that once. Which 2 do people like?

Gray Fox
11-10-2016, 10:38 AM
After he finally woke up last week, the answer for me is Mariota. Him and DeMarco are in a groove but last week he remembered there are other ways of getting TDs. Plus, it's the Browns.

I wouldn't be starting anyone that isn't a Falcon against Denver. The only reason they were able to get past that defence was their obscene talent on offense. You can maybe cover Freeman, Coleman and Jones, but then Sanu and Tamme are wide open. 4 of those 5 were on fire going into that game too.

Browning
11-10-2016, 10:41 AM
There is a somewhat temptation to start Travis Benjamin despite the match up as if I don't I basically have to start Gore or Mathews, and that assumes I risk Charles at RB2. Mathews has such a nice match up and is "the starter" but I just don't know if I can do it. He's penciled in for now, but I won't be surprised if I ultimately go for Gore or even Benjamin. That said Benjamin is Thursday night... so probably won't.

The Third Half Fantasy Football League (TTHFFL) Week 5 Roundup

The Race to the TTH Fantasy Football League Championship

Team Tebow Time (5-0-0)
A Gurley Has No Name (4-1-0)
Wet Pussy Best Pussy (3-2-0)
The Tunsil Gas Masks (3-2-0)
Miami Derphucks (3-2-0)
Welby Wolves (2-3-0)
Fay’s Fall Guys (2-3-0)
The Inevitable Failures (2-3-0)
Baz’s Bumbandits (1-4-0)
Plebroll AFC (0-5-0)

Plebroll AFC (0-5) suffered a huge blowout against Fay’s Fall Guys (2-3) losing by 135.44 to 54.68 which pretty much confirms what we already know so a Wildcard spot at this point in the season is highly unlikey. On the opposite side of the standings Team Tebow Time (5-0) goes unbeaten so far in the TTHFFL in the only tightest scoring match up of week five. If Baz’s Bumbandits (1-4) didn’t choose Cam Newton as his Quarterback you would have looked at them breaking Team Tebow Time’s winning streak in dramatic fashion.

A Gurley Has No Name (4-1) holds second spot thanks to a comfortable 119.26-69.36 win against Welby Wolves (2-3) who drop ever so closer to the Consolation Playoffs drop zone thanks to Phillip Rivers actually doing something this season for the San Diego Chargers despite their Special Teams meltdown late in the fourth quarter. The Tunsil Gas Masks (3-2) extend their winning streak to three matches as they beat the Miami Derphucks (3-2) by a decent margin of 20 points which could have been a lot tighter if Jamels Winston scored 25+ fantasy points for the Tampa Bay Bucs on Monday Night. Finally The inevitable Failures (2-3) beat Wet Pussy Best Pussy (3-2) 108.46-75.08 due to Wet Pussy Best Pussy picking a Texans defense and David Johnson scoring shitloads of points for The inevitable Failures who are on a charge for at least a Wildcard berth.

Week 6 matchups with Projected Scorings

Welby Wolves (88.78) vs Miami Derphucks (75.70)

The battle of the Quarterbacks as Aaron Rodgers would face Carson Palmer if he clears concussion protocol for the Cardinals who faces the Jets Monday Night. No real surprises in this matchup as Welby Wolves are on a bit of a losing streak and looking to end it as soon as possible as they would win this match by a small projected margin. Let’s hope that Lemar Miller and Frank Gore hit their respective projected points tally this week.

Plebroll AFC (76.92) vs The Tunsil Gas Masks (75.52)

:serious:

This is interesting, Plebroll AFC projected to win a matchup? Is that even possible? Will they finally snap a five game losing streak? Highly doubtful. With Plebroll AFC eighth in the Waivers priority list you would imagine signing anyone from the Waiver’s Wire would be nigh on impossible. The Tunsil Gas Masks may have to consider benching Jordon Matthews for Eric Decker as Decker is projected to score higher than Matthews according to the league’s website. Hold on to your hats folks this one could be a slobber knocker.

Wet Pussy Best Pussy (82.74) vs Team Tebow Time (97.28)

Wet Pussy may have to rely on Drew Brees and get rid of the Texans defense if they are to stand any chance against the league leaders who are set to go 6-0 if projected scorings are led to believe. The Vikings are on a bye week so that will be resolved as Team Tebow delve deeper into the Waiver’s Wire looking for a pretty decent defence to extend the projected score even further.

Baz’s Bumbandits (58.38) vs A Gurley Has No Name (91.82)

Apparently Cam Newton is back for the Saints game Sunday lunchtime which is lol really because you could of thought he’s still techinically injured. Big Ben is projected to score a lot more than Newton though apparently so Baz’s Bumbandits may have to consider that if and when the app works to set their lineup (the app is shit use the browser, actually they can be both as bad as each other). Stefon Diggs and Vincent Jackson are on bye weeks so hopefully that will be sorted. A Gurley Has No Name will extend their winning streak if Andrew Luck, Brandon Marshall and CJ Anderson have monster games with their respective teams.

The Inevitable Failures (110.76) vs Fay’s Fall Guys (99.50)

Another tight matchup of week six sees The Inevitable Failures just barely scraping through which could see both sides taking the lead at multiple locations within the weekend games. Melvin Gordon will have to convince The Inevitable Failures that the Thursday Night Football Fantasy curse is just made up shite by scoring 21 points for the team while Fay’s Fall Guys will have to pray and hope that Tom Brady and his team of top 10 fantasy players give the team the edge in another dramatic TTH matchup for the week.

Week 5 useless league stats

• Team Tebow Time has now started the season on a five-game winning streak.
• The Tunsil Gas Masks is on a three-game winning streak.
• Baz's Bumbandits has now beaten their weekly score projection in every match up so far this season.
• The Inevitable Failures won this week, even without starting a top-15 scoring QB.
• Free Agents Marcus Mariota and Sammie Coates combined to score more points than all of the starters on Plebroll AFC this week.
• Wet Pussy Best Pussy has now fallen short of their projected score for three weeks in a row.
• Ben Roethlisberger was left on Baz's Bumbandits's bench this week. His 29.20 points would have been the fourth-highest individual amount in the league if the app wasn't so fucking shit so that they can set their lineups properly for the week.

The change to the waivers in our league really needs to move over to my work one. It resetting every week to reverse standings order has had me either last, or 2nd to last each week now. There's only so much feeding on scraps one can do. It's annoying as I'm on a 2 game slide and wouldn't mind mixing it up, but the top pick ups aren't coming to me.
Instead, due to everyone stashing any person who makes good points in a week, I'm now waiting. The guys who are dropped go back up for waiver claims, so I'll wait to see who goes down and move my way forward in the queue.

Browning
12-10-2016, 09:23 AM
Yea non rolling waivers make no sense and essentially penalise you for assembling a good team. If you don't want to pick anyone up you should at least get to move to the ladder but your system basically means it's stupid not to claim anyone each week as there is no cost to doing so. It also means as I pointed out claiming the players that are dropped is essentially free too. It's horrible.

Got a trade offer involving Matt Stafford, I was quite intrigued when my tablet popped up with that news as my QB's in that league are Kirk Cousins and Joe Flacco.

The guys offer? Straight swap for David Johnson. I almost pissed myself due to laughing so hard.
Did you take it? :baz:

It's tough choosing in my match up this week. I'm just glad I had no one in that Thursday game.

https://gyazo.com/ab05d619e0cb6633164b81841e071501.png

2 of my 3 RBs have great match ups(McCoy at home against Chip Kelly could get tasty) and the other is David Johnson, so I really have to find place for all 3. This week is the week that Miller needs to do something though. His 20+ touches per game should really see him pushing big points, but he hasn't broken 12 points yet.
At WR it becomes a little more frustrating. AJ Green should have a decent game in New England, but it's my other spot. Julio is in a bad match up and will apparently be playing in high winds/stormy conditions, which always turns people towards a passing game.

On the bench I have 3 great options, with Fitz and Benjamin going up against 2 terrible pass defences and Pryor supposedly being prepared as the teams QB should anything happen to an already banged up Kessler. Of course playing any of those would mean benching Julio. And we all know what happened last time.

I didn't do a week 6 preview for my main league so here's how it went down so far:

QBs- Carson Palmer and Marcus Mariota (34.79) Vs Carson Wentz (4.30) and Blake Bortles (15.03)

Wrapped up this position with ease already, and Palmer against the awful Jets should make it even more of a slam dunk. If only every position had been like this...

WRs- Emmanuel Sanders (8.86), Antonio Brown (9.45) and Allen Robinson (8.00) Vs Brandin Cooks (29.08), Terrelle Pryor (31.71) and Phillip Dorsett (3.86)

We got destroyed at the position with both Cooks and Pryor outscoring my 3 combined. Cooks got pretty much all his points off 2 long plays and Pryor was on my bench in another league. Cunts. My guys are so frustrating, winning matches on their own one week, being dog shit the next.

RBs- Jamaal Charles (13.67) and Ryan Mathews (6.67) Vs Zeke Elliot (21.66) and Christine Michael (24.97)

Destroyed here too and once again either of his outscored mine combined. Fucking joke really. Mathews is close to being cut after putting up such a pathetic score against such a bad defense. Charles did alright, but picking between him and Ware is going to be a nightmare every week.

TE- Greg Olsen (15.71) Vs Dennis Pitta (11.57)

Both did pretty much exactly what they were projected to do. Of course Pitta had a semi decent game against me after I cut him previously. Oh well, it's nowhere near what Reed would have done if he didn't go down.

Flex- AJ Green (15.29) and Lamar Miller (35.13) Vs Doug Baldwin (8.21) and Mark Ingram (9.31)

His two are terrible where as mine do OK. Well, Miller was a stud, but Green was still a little disappointing. Never the less it claws some back for us.

Kickers/DST/IDP- Hauschka (10.00), Crosby (11.00), Arizona (????), Wagner (8.50), Jones (8.00) and Bosa (1.00) Vs Gostkowski (10.00), N/A (0.00), Houston (9.00), T.Smith (8.00), M.Barron (5.50) and T.Murphy (2.00)

Not much in it at IDP and my DST is yet to play, but him only starting 1 kicker sees me chalk off about 11 points of his lead. He's only started 1 kicker every week for some stupid reason, but I've scooped up Catanzaro to make sure it stays that way this week (Someone else already has the Jets kicker).

The end result of all that is I'm currently losing by 8.13 points with Palmer and Arizona to take the field against no one for him.

Indeed. It's a 2 QB league and they are very important and the guy had Big Ben, Cousins and Fitzpatrick as his 3... so he was desperate. It's a deal that works for both parties to some extent given the circumstances, but I'm happy with it. I rostered 5 QBs for that very reason. Palmer, Rivers, Mariota and Smith will get me through.

Gray Fox
19-10-2016, 07:01 PM
I think the Brees owner must be reading this, he's just offered me Brees for Larry Fitz.

I'd be much more keen to send him Kelvin as the Panthers are shit. It leaves me with 3 QBs(add another half for Pryor maybe). From looking around the league there's a only 1 maybe 2 owners who could be swayed by an Aaron Rodgers. I'd love Marvin Jones, or maybe try for A-Rob(His owner has lost Big Ben and had to bring in Dalton to stream).

I wouldn't usually, but he looks bad compared to his usual self and half of his team are dead or dying.

Even if I was a right dickhead and swapped Ajayi out in both leagues 5 minutes before game time.

In our league I find myself about 6 points clear before any corrections, with a straight shootout between Christine Michael and CJ Anderson. How I'm in that position is blind luck though. It's still likely going to be a loss here, but hopefully Michael gets some short goal line yardage attempts.
