A team was made for you which was auto drafted.

Your team is:

Palmer, Winston
Martin, Hyde, Abdullah, Riddick
Nelson, Jones, Jackson, Shepard, White, Cooks
Eifert
Gano
Broncos.

I'm guessing your first order of business will be to find a TE who isn't out for half the year.

Dak Prescott is an upgrade on Alex Smith, right?

And assuming he is.... he should start for me week 1 over Rivers and Mariota, right?

He's been inexplicably cut, and I'm the 2nd waiver behind a guy with Rodgers, Brees and Dalton... so I'm confident I can nab him.

Dan
06-09-2016, 06:07 PM
Pleb, who is Blake Bell, and why did you pick him up?

EDIT: Browning I'd say he's got a pretty decent chance at being an upgrade on Smith. The Giants were bad last year, although they could be a bit less awful now they've chucked a load of money at their defence, but that game should still be pretty high scoring, so he's definitely worth taking a punt on. Worst case scenario you'll probably be able to trade him to somebody after a couple of weeks if he does reasonably well.

Sir Andy Mahowry
06-09-2016, 06:10 PM
He's a TE for the Niners.

186 yards receiving last year with no TD's. Clearly a vital weapon in the Niners attack.

Sir Andy Mahowry
06-09-2016, 06:13 PM
He also picked up the Titans number 3 RB who looked dogshit last year during his brief time as a starter.

Browning
06-09-2016, 06:20 PM
I don't pretend he's better than Rivers, but the Chargers lost to the Chiefs `10-3 and 33-3 in 2 games last year.... I'm just not confident in Phil this week whatsoever. For the season yes, this week.... ugh.

I'll roll with him if I have to, but I didn't expect Prescott to fall into my lap.

Sir Andy Mahowry
06-09-2016, 06:29 PM
I hate Rivers so I'm biased. Go for Dak.

Gray Fox
06-09-2016, 07:54 PM
I'd be avoiding any QB going up against the Chiefs this season, unless they show me to do otherwise. I fancy them to steal their division this year.

Wentz is a risky shout. It'll be his first proper game, but he is up against the Browns at home.

Gray Fox

The first waiver date in my other league is tomorrow morning. At a glance there's a fair bit left there.

Graham Gano is still there so I'll be looking to swap Bailey. Both Bengals RBs are there too. I'll drop Woodhead for one of them, I'm just not sure which one to take. Hilton is still there in terms of WRs. With Crabtree, both Jacksons and Matthews still there. Kevin White in terms or a bigger risk. The only TE worth looking at is Witten but I'd rather risk Miller I think.

I think I'm happy just taking Gano and one of the RBs. I guess my question is, Hill or Bernard?

Dan
06-09-2016, 09:02 PM
I got bored so I did a 'draft now' league & ended up with the first overall pick. Decided to try a slightly different approach & ended up with the following:

1 - Antonio Brown
2 - Brandon Marshall
3 - Le'Veon Bell
4 - Latavius Murray
5 - Andrew Luck
6 - Jeremy Langford
7 - Delanie Walker
8 - Marvin Jones
9 - DeAngelo Williams
10 - Kamar Aiken
11 - Allen Hurns
12 - Derrick Henry
13 - Stefon Diggs
14 - Eagles DEF
15 - Justin Tucker

Not as deep as my team for our league, but I won't have to put as much work into it either. Patriots defence is available so I'll probably pick them up & then I should be pretty much set to put fuck all effort in all season :D

First off, how are these players still available? Secondly, I'd take Hill.

EDIT: Can I just check how our league works in regards to locking players? If I select my team for Thursday can I then swap players in & out again for Sunday, and are the players in the Denver/Carolina game locked in place?

My bench looks a bit wank but the kickers aren't going anywhere Mahow :harold:

Gray Fox
06-09-2016, 09:10 PM
Players only lock once their game starts. For example, if you have anyone from Denver of Carolina, they will lock the minute the game goes live, but the rest of your team is still open to benching/trading/waivers etc.

Dan
06-09-2016, 09:14 PM
That's what I assumed, just wanted to make sure before I fucked myself over, ta.

Might do another draft, actually.

Baz
06-09-2016, 09:23 PM
Not playing my first round pick in the opening week is annoying, but has to be done. Other than, that I'm happy with my team.

Well except I want Gronk. Who ended up with him? I'm sure he went first round too, that's why I ended up with Elliott in the second.

Browning
06-09-2016, 10:00 PM
He did, my mate got him.

Who was your first round pick and why aren't you playing him?

Browning
06-09-2016, 10:03 PM
Oh it's Cam Newton....

I'd still start him I think. It's close between those two though, really close. At least Ben eliminates most of the threat of Antonio Brown, I guess.

Dan
06-09-2016, 10:09 PM
Did another draft, and finished with the following team from pick 5:

1 - Todd Gurley
2 - Allen Robinson
3 - Keenan Allen
4 - Jordan Reed
5 - Andrew Luck
6 - Latavius Murray
7 - Randall Cobb
8 - Jeremy Hill
9 - Larry Fitzgerald
10 - Marvin jones
11 - Melvin Gordon
12 - Vikings DEF
13 - DeAngelo Williams
14 - Jared Cook
15 - Dan Bailey

Again, should pretty much be 'set it & forget it' each week.

Some notable strategies include the guy who took Eifert & no other TE, the guy who took Brady & no other QB, and also the guy who took both Brees & Wilson, who have the same bye week. Personal favourite, however, is the guy who took Newton, Gronk & Broncos DEF with nine WRs & only two RBs.

Browning
06-09-2016, 10:10 PM
You love Marvin Jones, don't you?

Dan
06-09-2016, 10:17 PM
I love the value of a potential #1 receiver that late. Similar deal for Melvin Gordon. Couldn't say no to DeAngelo at 13 either, even if i just start him for 3/4 weeks then try to trade him.

Browning
06-09-2016, 10:22 PM
He's not because Tate is there, but he does have great potential. Couldn't believe how late I got him in our draft.

Dan
06-09-2016, 10:28 PM
It could be either of them, really. Tate will probably get all the short stuff & screens, and Jones will probably get the stuff they used to have Calvin for. Either way he's potentially a flex play most weeks, especially since Detroit sucks & will probably be throwing loads.

Browning
06-09-2016, 10:51 PM
So Jones will get all the long passes that hit a fan in the head, and Tate will always be wide open in acres of space but Stafford won't see him?

What have I drafted....

Dan
06-09-2016, 11:14 PM
I have three words for you. Jim Bob Cooter...

Browning
06-09-2016, 11:24 PM
And I have two words for you.... Matthew Stafford. :D

I'm sure he won't actually be that bad, but my God were they turgid shit at Wembley last year. Honestly think they could have picked any 30 fat blokes out of the crowd and they'd have given the Chiefs a better game.

Browning
07-09-2016, 10:00 AM
The "Fearless Forecasts" videos basically implied I should be starting Rivers AND Dak and benching Palmer.

Yea... fuck off.

Horrendous bench aside I think I'm set.

Gray Fox
07-09-2016, 02:55 PM
Got Geno and Hill. The only other waiver claim was Vinatieri being picked up by my opponent this week. Given the talent still out there I'll be aggressively chasing a TE from someone. A Patriots fan has Gronk so there's no way there unless I make him a crazy offer. I'm looking at Kelce for now.

Sir Andy Mahowry
07-09-2016, 04:50 PM
Dynasty league will draft soon, my keepers are:

Mariota, Osweiler
Peterson, Anderson, Gordon, Michael, Ware, Hyde
Adams, Allen, Jeffery, R Matthews, J Matthews, Perriman
Williams
-
Seattle

Obviously need to draft at least one more TE (preferably 2), a QB, a K, a DEF and then some higher value rookies.

Loads of players still available but I haven't got a clue what rounds I actually have picks in.

Gray Fox
07-09-2016, 05:23 PM
Do you just lose the pick for the round you took the kept player?

Seething that I missed out on Kenneth Dixon, I might try and trade for him.

Sir Andy Mahowry
07-09-2016, 05:29 PM
Do you just lose the pick for the round you took the kept player?

No, I don't know what system it is. I think it might be where you placed your keepers in the list.

I had no idea this was the case though. The GM of the league put Gronk at the 25th so used his 25th round pick to keep him. I had a lot of my picks nearer the front end :moop:

Browning
07-09-2016, 06:00 PM
That sounds like a ridiculous system, unless you have to keep players from the top (round 1) down. If that's the case it doesn't really matter who you put where.

Sir Andy Mahowry
07-09-2016, 06:12 PM
That sounds like a ridiculous system, unless you have to keep players from the top (round 1) down. If that's the case it doesn't really matter who you put where.

You can put them anywhere, it's stupid.

Can't use where you drafted them but just taking each player from the bottom rounds up. So if you have 10 keepers, you lose your last 10 picks.

I'm fairly happy with my team even though it could have been much better if I knew the system though. Probably wont challenge this year again.

Gray Fox
07-09-2016, 08:19 PM
I got a resounding piss off from the Kelce owner and Ertz owner. They were the least savvy of the guys in the league so I think I could well struggle to trade for a TE.

Gray Fox

I wouldn't trade much for Ertz to be fair. He's usually pretty shit.

Gray Fox

bruhnaldo It does show you as having taken over. Try a mobile app see if it works?

In league news a guy with this team https://gyazo.com/a86e44a770de6558281f64466595740a.png wants Julio Jones off me. I was more than happy to have AJ Green as my WR 1, pre-draft so I wouldn't mind throwing Jones weight about.

The obvious player to pop out is Zeke Elliott. I'd love to bring him in. The only thing is, people in this league are a little off with how trades work. They were talking about offering a single TE for Jones and seem to think it only goes 1 for 1.

In my head I'm thinking of offering Jones for Elliott and Fleener(I really need a TE and despite reports that he isn't linking up well, he'll get plenty of chance with Brees). Considering they only seem to see trades as being 1 for 1 however, I'd probably have to give him an RB back. He's quite weak at WR but looks good at RB after Bell returns. I was thinking of chucking McCoy in the deal. I've still got Johnson, Miller, Foster and Hill so I can afford it.

Am I on the right track here or am I being mental?

Browning
08-09-2016, 05:31 PM
Personally I wouldn't do that trade in your position, but it's not a million miles off.

Sir Andy Mahowry

First match up of the season.

https://gyazo.com/b9c137075436e70da45cf2eec465760e.png

I'm gambling here, and against Mahow, that Matthews goes big against the Browns. A fresh faced rookie QB is going in, will likely be eased into it by handing the ball off a lot. Plus it's the Browns.
I really don't like Green going up against my own defence, but there's not a lot I can do. The only other defence this week is the Eagles that could get many points, but we have an entire new CB group so I'm not sure.

All of his receiving players have great match ups though and Williams tends to go mental when Bell isn't there. I'm expecting a close, but eventual loss.

I think I prefer being in the middle, 5th or 6th. The picks are generally obvious that way and there's always 10 picks between your own. It's easier to plan. Trying to predict who is safe to leave for 19 picks is a bit hard. You end up reaching a little.

My league may have thrown me a bone. The Rams and Bengals defences have both just been dropped. I may have to pick one up.

We have the Browns and then @ Bears in the opening 2 weeks. If the defence can't pick up points there then it's going to be a fucking long season.

I've picked us up. RG3 was a pick machine before he took more than a season off. My 2nd best option is the Rams(@ SF) but due to my waiver pick ups earlier I'm back of the queue so there's not much point trying.

AJ Green and Ezekiel Elliot as my first 2 picks was pretty swish. QB's went fast though so I'm happy that I got the two I got in the 9th and 10th rounds.

As much as I love Tucker I'm not blinded by said love.

Cairo Santos or nothing unless it involves multiple players.

No one will trade you anything bar a worse kicker for Tucker... because you already have the best kicker in the game, so inevitably you'll cut him at some point.

So here are my matchups this week:

http://i.imgur.com/5dCuxFz.png

I'm predicted to win but it's going to be close as we've both got players who could go nowhere near their projections and some that could go flying past.

http://i.imgur.com/UB5FFTi.png

He wont have a chance.

http://i.imgur.com/bjlJDZU.png

Looked like it was going to be a blowout loss but CJ Anderson has done a MASSIVE job which gives us a chance.

http://i.imgur.com/jpgWGWx.png

This is the money league team that I took over so it sucks that I stupidly picked Funchess but I should still win.

http://i.imgur.com/zPcZsKM.png

Could go either way but it's in his favour after CJ Anderson's heroics.

I guess I'll post up my week 1 match up for my main league. It's against the guy I beat in last years Super Bowl, and beat 3 times overall last season (Fay's Fall Guys) but I have a bad feeling about week 1 since Charles pretty much went down....

QBs- Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers Vs Andrew Luck and Eli Manning

Considering where these were picked I'm happy with my QBs over his for the season as I don't feel his are MUCH better than mine and I got mine much later in the draft. However, especially considering the match ups, he's probably got me beat here. I don't like Rivers going up against the Chiefs but given he put up virtually double the points Mariota did last season I can't justify rolling with him.

WRs- Antonio Brown, A.J. Green and Allen Robinson Vs Odell Beckham, TY Hilton and Jeremy Maclin

A no contest in my favor as it should be every week at the WR position. I don't think you could realistically assemble a better set of 3. The thing that scares me is his massive double TD potential from both Beckham and Hilton, but nevertheless I surely smash him at this position.

RBs- Lamar Miller and Ryan Matthews Vs David Johnson and Eddie Lacy

I felt better about this when I had Miller and Charles, but without him this is massively in his favor I feel. I still think Miller will be a top RB option this season, and Matthews has a lovely home game with the Browns, so I'm not too concerned about it. Hopefully if Johnson scores a TD it'll come from Palmer.

TE- Greg Olsen Vs Coby Fleener

The projections actually edge to him here, but I don't see it. Fleener is said to not be clicking well with Brees, where as Olsen is the top target for Cam Newton. Part of me does regret investing so high in Olsen rather than a better WR4, but hopefully he'll make it worthwhile.

Flex- Emmanuel Sanders and Spencer Ware Vs Latavious Murray and DeSean Jackson

I'm not convinced by Sanders this week at all. To the point where in me other league, he's on the bench despite me starting 5 WRs. He is however my safest play as I'm yet to get a look at Jared Cook, Torrey Smith, Travis Benjamin or Kevin White who I could play instead. I was very lucky to get Ware who has a lovely match up, but unfortunately not as nice as Murray's. Still I think this should be a fairly even contest.

The Rest:
Hauschka, Crosby, Arizona DST, Lavonte David, Reshad Jones and Ziggy Ansah Vs Walsh, Bryant, LA Rams DST, Bowman, Graham and Pierre-Paul

This should hopefully swing the match up back towards me as I drafted all of those players where as he picked all of his up post-draft. Not too happy that his DST faces the Niners while mine faces the Patrots... but I can always hope Arizona feast on Jimmy while Brady is out.

All in all projections have him to beat me by 4 points but I think it'll be pretty much bang even if and when Charles is ruled out and Ware gets a boost in projection. If Charles is named the starter I do of course have the option to play him.

2 changes from this as I replaced Rivers with Dak and he replaced Maclin with Watkins in a trade. I'm currently projected to win by an entire point after Olsen went over projection by a couple and sanders went under by one. It's too close to call.

107 - 27 up in my other league, he has Beckham, Williams and Michael to play. I've got David Johnson left.

In one of my leagues (the Stairway to Evans one), it's looking likely that I'm going over 100 (at 92 with Cousins and David Johnson to play) but will still lose as he's at 112 with Luck and the Rams to play.

Should in theory win in all 3 leagues this week....

It was a weird one because I was trailing in TTH to Dan and in my 3rd league, but cruising in my main league. Luck going mental almost certainly gave me 2 wins in the other leagues, but bought my opponent back from the dead in my main league. It should still be a win though, barring anything crazy.

As Dan says, Gurley only needs 3 yards for me to win. Was a great match up though, well played Dan.

In my 3rd league I'm leading 200-168 with Antonio Brown and Aaron Donald to come Vs Cousins and Reed. Of course those 2 could go mental, but even if they do Brown should give me enough. He's projected to finish on 206, so yea... that should be a win.

My main league I lead 234 to 196. He has D-Jax, the LA Defense and Bowman to come tonight and is projected to reach 232, however I still have Antonio Brown to come too. It's closer than it should have been, but barring a nightmare from Brown I should be ok.

Watch Brown let me down in both now...

I've just noticed Rodgers has a very early bye week, in week 4 so I'm off out to look at a QB for then. The guy who has Big Ben wants rid of him apparently and has offered him for Langford to another owner in the league but it was rejected. Ended up being a routine win, despite him posting a damn high score. 230+ is pretty much going to win every week, but I seemed to hit with every player I picked to overcome it.

QBs- Luck scored 5 points more than Palmer and Dak combined, and Manning tacked on an extra 27 for an absolute raping at the QB position, as I expected given the match ups and given he took his QBs in Round 2 and 3 and I took mine in round 5 and from the waiver wire.

RBs- Ryan Mathews and Latavious Murray pretty much broke even, and Lamar Miller put up double what Lacy did (18 points to 9) giving me a small win at the position, but that was of course with both David Johnson and Spencer Ware sitting in our flexes....

WRs- AJ Green lit it up putting up almost 37 points where as Beckham, Hilton and Watkins combined for 34 points. This meant I won the position without the 12 points from Sanders and 14 points from Robinson. AJ fucking Green.

TE- Olsen 15.71 Vs Fleener 1.91. Enough said.

Flex- Spencer Ware went off like crazy, topping even David Johnson by 8 and a half points (33.49 to 24.96). Antonio Brown also pretty much doubled D-Jax putting up 33 on the dot to his 16.29. Easy.

He beat me in the Kicker battle by 10, I won the DST battle by 8 and he won the IDP by about 1.5 points. All in all this lead to a comprehensive 267.22 to 226.74 victory. He went under projection by about 6 points and I was over it by almost 40.

Won in my 3rd league to by 237.75 points (1 point over projection) to 198.90 (about 24 points under). He actually won a lot of positional battles but Luck and Brown mainly combined to see him off comfortably.

My week 2 match ups, on paper, look easier than week 1 in those 2 leagues, so we'll see.

Because you're top of the league and every week it resets to reverse order.

I don't like it either. People that have been using their waivers already have basically got a leg up there, and it means people dropped outside the waiver period can be claimed at no cost as you'll just move back to where you were anyway. Waivers should always be rolling. I don't care for rewarding people for being shit. See Fay's Fall Guys benching DeAngelo Williams to get a higher waiver as he'd already lost. I don't blame him one bit, because the system is flawed.

Unfortunately only 3 players (Fuller, Jimmy Garropolo and Carson Wentz) were actually claimed and one was by someone behind me already so I only moved up two spots. I was however able to drop Torrey for Wallace free of charge.

Nearly drafted him, then nearly picked him up over Sheppard before week one, so I was pretty mad at myself when he went off on Sunday. Had to finally make an effort to get him while I had an early claim.

I have Luck in both my other leagues, and I'll play him in one & bench him in the second. I picked up Wallace & Stafford in the first league, and Fuller & SPENCER WARE in the other. My RBs in that league are Gurley, Williams, Hill, Gordon & Ware :cab: Need to get trading, assuming anyone else is actually looking at their teams in that league :D

Still gotta do TE, DEF & K work, but it's kinda tricky on my phone so hopefully my laptop gets fixed by tomorrow evening.

Willing to trade some of my WRs for RBs.

I'd consider trading one of the Seahawks RBs, but I'm don't really need any WRs & I doubt you'd get rid of anything else I'd be interested in.

But yeah, Rawls, Michael & Josh Gordon could all go for a good offer...

Browning
14-09-2016, 11:35 AM
That's a good set of RBs for now, but Williams will decline a lot when Bell is back, and Ware will become a nightmare to figure out when Charles is back, so I'm not sure how much I would part with.

And yea, I'll be starting Luck in my 3rd league (2 QB league) as I still like him over Matt Ryan... but benching him in TTH for Stafford.

Browning

Week 2 match up for my main league:

QB- Carson Palmer and Marcus Mariota Vs Ben Roethlisberger and Ryan Fitzpatrick

I went 7-0 last season in games where I started FItzpatrick so it's hard to hate on him too much, but my opponent seems to have bailed on Cousins after 1 poor game and benched him for Fitz. I'm not too sure on that decision given that Cousins faces Dallas. Not complaining though. Rivers Vs the Jaguars is a nice enough match up but I'm currently leaning towards Marcus because Detroit have no defense whatsoever and I'd like to see how Rivers does without Allen after being total wank in the 2nd half of week 1. Slight advantage to me I think just because I think Palmer will be the best of the 4 but could go either way. Projection is me by 4 points.

WRs- Antonio Brown, AJ Green and Allen Robinson Vs Mike Evans, Randall Cobb and Marvin Jones

I'm going to say this every week.... but no contest. His lot all have big game potential, but my 3 are all studs. Projections have me by 15 points.

RB- Lamar Miller and Spencer Ware Vs DeAngelo Williams and Matt Forte

The guy has AP, but like Cousins he seems to have lost faith quickly as has benched him. I don't mind that whatsoever. With AP in the mix I think this would have been 50/50. With him dropped for Forte I again like my plays, assuming Ware still holds as the starter. Projections have this breaking even though.

TE- Greg Olsen Vs Rob Gronkowski

One of the few teams that has a TE that can compete with mine, but I don't fear Gronk much coming back from his injury. If he sits again the guy does have Gates, so it's not too bad for him. Projection is him by half a point, but who knows.

Flex- Ryan Mathews and Emmanuel Sanders Vs Will Fuller and DeMarco Murray

I like Sanders a lot this week going against a soft defense and with DT struggling. Mathews also seems to be a workhorse going up against a poor defense. I'm not convinced Fuller will repeat but we will see. Could go either way. Projections has it as me by about 2 points.

The Rest- Arizona DST, Hauschka, Crosby, L.David, R.Jones and A.Donald Vs Denver DST, Vinatieri, McManus, D.Harris, J.Norman and M.Wilkerson

Not much to note here really. I'm considering David's position after he got out performed by his fellow Bucs LB but I'm not sure if that was a one week thing. I like Donald this week against a hobbling Russell Wilson but I'll cut him if he doesn't improve on last weeks 3 tackles. Still that was better than Ansah who I started. Projections has this as me by 6-7 points.

Overall projection- I win 234.49 to 208.80

I keep thinking I'm looking a little light at RB, but then I remember I've got Lev Bell sat down for 2 more games. Could use a better 4th option than Forsett though.

In my other league my trade of giving Hill to get Palmer has gone through. I mean he's not the best QB, but probably in the top 5-10. I'd be perfectly happy with me as my starter, which makes me want to dangle the Rodgers carrot out there and see what stupid offers I get. Dalton, Bortles, Rivers Stafford and Carr are all still available to take so I could easily take a great back up option still. Obviously I'd only ever give Rodgers for good value in return. But knowing the league like I do, I can't wait to be offered Will Tye.

The guy I played last week had RG3 as starter, with Mariota and Taylor as back ups. He also has Beckham. He's one I could target.

What in the fuck is Pleb doing with that trade?

Pleb
14-09-2016, 10:04 PM
I was bored...this happened...:

Week 2 – The Third Half Football League Preview

Plebroll AFC (0-1-0) vs Team Tebow Time (1-0-0)

Plebroll AFC threw away what was ultimately a slender shock lead against Miami Derphucks heading into the Monday Night Football matches but Torrey Smith (benched) only had 13 yards to his name so Plebroll AFC was clearly right to bench him. A random Blake Bell (Did Not Play) made an appearance was what we can only describe as one of those “You Pleb” moments.

Alex Smith and Spencer Ware’s antics during the Kansas City match against San Diego would have been a pivotal moment for an unexpected week one upset if Plebroll AFC didn’t decide to start Blake Bell and for Carlos Hyde to not score over 20 points for Miami Derphucks.

A strong looking Vikings defense helped Team Tebow Time to win game one against The Tunsil Gas Masks. Danny Woodhead (Benched) would have ultimately bumped Team Tebow Time’s score to over one hundred but a solid win either way.

Team Tebow Time slightly edges Plebroll AFC in the projected scoring but keep a small eye out for Odell Beckham jr who might have a huge say in where this matchup is headed.

The Tunsil Gas Masks (0-1-0) vs Welby Wolves (1-0-0)

The Tunsil Gas Masks was banking on Russell Wilson to have a huge game in the Seattle vs Miami game but ended up scoring 11 points even though Seattle won the game 12-10. Mike Evans was The Tunsil Gas Masks only high scorer with 15.9 points and with the trade of Justin Tucker heading into week 2 from Plebroll AFC and some waiver pickups The Tunsil Gas Masks are hoping to kick start their season with a win in week two.

The Welby Wolves are hot favourites to take a semi-final playoff berth as they completely destroy Fay’s Fall Guys with Aaron Rodgers and A.J Green amongst one of the highest scoring players of the league so far. Will The Welby Wolves continue by turning up and donning up the entire league? Time will tell but projected scores suggests that The Tunsil Gas Masks takes week 2 by six points which makes this matchup even more thrilling than it already is.

Miami Derphucks (1-0-0) vs The Inevitable Failures (0-1-0)

Carlos Hyde helped Miami Derphucks in their win against Plebroll AFC with Brandin Cooks also scoring over 25 points. The Miami Derphucks are hoping that the Broncos defence plays an absolute blinder against the Colts which might be a huge factor in winning this matchup.

The inevitable Failures had an interesting QB matchup which meant Eli Manning scored a measly (lol) 18.28 against Andrew Luck’s 35.50 when they faced A Gurley Has No Name. Interesting enough as soon as Sunday Night Football went on the air the matchup was on a knife edge meaning at the end of the game A Gurley Has No Name only needed Todd Gurley to feature for The Inevitable Failures to lose the week one matchup by a small margin.

Projected Scores suggests that there’s nothing to separate them meaning it could go down to the wire again. There are three to five players on both benches that are projected to score over 10s this weekend.

Fay’s Fall Guys (0-1-0) vs Baz’s Bumbandits (0-1-0)

Fay’s Fall Guys embarrassing defeat to The Welby Wolves was marred by the fact that apparently a RB slot wasn’t filled in which we can only describe this moment of madness due to alien involvement. That or no one bothered to turn up to score huge fantasy points. Fay’s Fall Guys are hoping that DeAngelo Williams and Jeremy Langford both have monstrous games against the Bengals and the Eagles respectively otherwise you are looking at another loss.

Baz’s Bumbandits was in one of the tightest matchups that The Third Half Fantasy Football League has ever seen in it’s history of actually having a proper Fantasy Football League. All positional matchups were neck and neck but it was ultimately down to a huge battle between Drew Brees and Big Ben which puts Baz’s Bumbandits in the position he’s already in by losing the tightest of margins to Wet Pussy Best Pussy (no pun intended).

Projected scores suggests that Fay’s Fall Guys takes the W but with Cam Newton firmly locked in as Baz’s Bumbandit’s quarterback and the Seahawks defence projected to do well anything can happen.

A Gurley Has No Name (1-0-0) vs Wet Pussy Best Pussy (1-0-0)

No major changes for A Gurley Has No Name which is a little bit gutsy really as he’s heading into week two playing against a team who seems to be only fascinated with his Best Wet Pussy if that makes any sense. A Gurley Has No Name surely must be relying on the likes of Andrew Luck or Phillip Rivers to score massive points this game weekend but rumours are circulating that the team may start with Matt Stafford and hope the likes of CJ Anderson and his kicker Dan Bailey give the the same love they gave him last week.

Wet Pussy Best Pussy dropping Drew Brees for Derek Carr which suggests we may see another fascinating Quarterback matchup from week one. They are also hoping that Antonio Brown has a huge game against the Bengals. Projected scores suggest that Wet Pussy takes it with a massive margin of around 25 to 30 points.

Prior to going into print a trade between Plebroll AFC and The Tunsil Gas Masks has already happened meaning that Jamaal Charles and Johnathon Steward have respectively swapped teams. Who knows what this will mean for both teams as clearly they both have plans to storm the top six in the standings by qualifying at least a Wildcard spot. Ultimately would this be another “You Pleb” moment as the season progresses? Who knows? Already some Plebroll AFC fans are fucking livid over this trade.

I'm playing League Average in my other league so there's nothing to think about on the opponents side. There's also not a great deal to think about with my lineup.

https://gyazo.com/50a70952267b49f4df8720b210012000.png

After strong showings in week 1, Johnson, Miller and Matthews have to be stuck with. Johnson against the Bucs and Miller against the Chiefs who normally good, gave up touchdowns to Gordon(x2) and Woodhead last week, have better looking matchups there. I'm not playing any Bills against the Jets either.
At WR I've got Benjamin and Green. The latter is a stud while the former is on a fantastic offense who looked good last week against the best defence in the league. I'm expecting Julio to be questionable until the end of time and will keep an eye on his practice report. It'll be between him and Matthews for the flex spot.
My real question this week is whether or not I fancy pulling Rodgers out for the newly acquired Palmer. Rodgers is on the road against what was a mean looking Vikings D last week, while Palmer has the Bucs at home.

I'd love a better TE, but that ship long since sailed. Only Jared Cook remains on waivers.

The other 2 people in my division(3 divisions of 3 for some reason) are playing each other too, so I have a chance to go 2 clear of whoever loses and give myself a healthy cushion.
