Another one for Benjamin. Stiff upper lip and all that.

Double digits from a QB sounds lovely.
Fuck Mariota and his 9.54 :moop:

He's been very disappointing in the first two games of the season.
Pleb looks like a genius playing Crowell this week :hail:

If he wins this with Smith scoring less than a point it would be incredible.
Someone in one of my other leagues dropped Demaryius Thomas :cab:
I've already gone in to pick him up.

He's got a pretty nasty injury which he's going to play through but he probably won't be himself for a while. Nonetheless that's ridiculous.
No idea how my team has gone from so fucking good last week to so awful this week. Ridiculous how badly Brown and Green have been shut out.
Melvin Gordon has already outscored LeSean McCoy :moop:
Benching Martellus Bennett wasn't my best idea.

Doug Martin might be out for the game too.
I'm up against him this week...

The guy I beat in my main league last week (he also plays in TTH) is facing a guy who lost Allen last week and has so far lost both Woodhead and Martin today. He's still getting his arse handed to him. Guess it could be worse for me.

Fucking hell. I'd quit the league at this point if I were him, if only to stop anyone else getting hurt.

I can't believe he's still in a position to win his match up. Even if he doesn't score another point today he'll still be favorite by about 20 points. It's kind of bringing my mate back from the dead, but the likely outcome is he loses to half a team.
I need the Colts and the Cardinals to turn up and play some fucking ball to Floyd and Doyle so that I don't have to worry about Monday Night :moop:
I should of went with my gut and started Ryan instead of Smith :moop:

I'll think about it :sherlock:

My players from 9:30 games are doing their absolute best, but it's too little too late. I put Travis Benjamin in over Ryan Mathews one because in a PPR I needed the points desperately, and 2 because I wanted it over and done with. He and Palmer (plus the Cards DST) have beasted it but the earlier players as well as Allen Robinson have been dog shit.
Sanders started off hot and has done nothing since.
It's not happening. :(

This week has reminded me how much I hate the Thursday game.
Carson Palmer needs to stop throwing the ball & let David Johnson get some points. He's eating up my lead on his own.
Allen Robinson has been trash the first two games of the season :(

Indeed. The Thursday game left me no chance in my main league. I looked dead in TTH too but..... not to be. Get fucked, Mert. :D

18-09-2016, 09:58 PM
Had I stuck with my gut and played Benjamin over Cooks and Palmer over Rodgers, I'd be in the 90's easily. Now I'm stuck at 53, needing David Johnson, Julio and Rodgers to go mental. Facing the average too so all that might still see me lose.
I don't know how I went from smashing it last week, to a pathetic score this.
Browning
18-09-2016, 10:04 PM
That Evans TD ices me, not that it was ever really on anyway,
Oh well, looks like I'll be 2-0 in 2 leagues and 1-1 in my main league. At one point I was looking like being the lowest scorer of the week (after being highest last week) but our late rally has us on course to be 2nd this week.... behind only my opponent. Doubt that comes off, I'd expect to wind up about 3rd or 4th for the week. Either way, I should still be in a good position to move back to top of the league, especially as it's likely the only 2-0 guy is going to be the guy who has lost his entire team.
I should of went with my gut and started Ryan instead of Smith :moop:
...actually scratch that he just threw another pick apparently :baz:

Of course Mert is back in it. What more can go wrong this week.
That catch from Julio is probably enough to ensure Jordy & Kevin White can win it for Bruh this week :(

If Carr gets another TD I'm probably done, which is insane considering how far up I was. Oh well, would be just typical.
Browning
18-09-2016, 11:12 PM
There it is. Fucking hell. :(
That Luck TD means all three of my ties are going right down to the wire.
I need AP to score less than 4 to win one league & the other I should have just won barring Minnesota DEF losing me points.
TTH league I need Julio, Jordy & Kevin White to get 15.5 or less to hold off Bruh. Robinson getting some extra yards in garbage time gives me a tad more of a chance, but I'm still not confident.
---
And that Denver TD just lost me two different matches.

Browning winning by 0.24 points :D
In our league I find myself needing 21 yards off Ryan Matthews tonight. Though my other league is less clear cut. Julio and Johnson gave me a fighting chance and I'm now 4.3 points ahead, but I'm ahead of the league average.
Weekly scores look like this so far: https://gyazo.com/264f5f5336e6a1fd945f755e1d843fab.png
There are only 4 players left going in the league. The guy on 92.7 has Langford, while the other guy has Jeffery and Jordan Matthews. I have Zach Miller. I think, given the 3 guys who have finished in the 70's and the one just ahead of my score, that I need to get just about over 90.
If I'm thinking right, then the average wont shift up by any more than 6-7 points, unless either of the 2 other guys in play become the weeks top scorer. Either way I need Miller to actually catch something this week.
Across my three leagues I'm 2-0, 1-1 & 0-2, despite only having scored less than 100 once :moop:
Browning
19-09-2016, 06:33 AM
Lacy
So predictable.
Browning
19-09-2016, 09:04 AM
Crosby being shit too sees me finish the week on just over 212 points, some 55 less than last week. My opponent on the other hand out scored even my score from last week, so I can have no complaints. If my team were gonna have a shit week, it's best to come against someone I couldn't have beaten, I guess.
Projection wise I had Palmer, Mariota, Olsen, Benjamin and the Ari DST go over their projections whilst Miller was close enough to his. Everyone else was total wank. Brown, Green and Robinson combined were out scored by DeMarco Murray for fuck sake.
The good news is had I played Rivers and he played AP... it would have been about 30 points closer, but I would still have got battered.
Raced out to get Fozzy Whittaker (for Aaron Donald, I'll sort out DL later) and Dennis Pitta (dropping Jared Cook). Would have preferred McKinnon but he was gone.
Here's hoping for a Ryan Matthews blowout :baz:
I still lost the matchup though surely :moop:

Looks like Fay Vs Baz is the only match that is still on. I reckon Fay will get it as I think one of his Bears is bound to find the end zone, but it could easily be Baz too. Gray Fox will surely see off Pleb.
Assuming he does get it, we're looking at something like this for the league table. Swap him and Baz over if Baz holds on:
Miami Derphucks 2-0 (-)
A Gurley Has No Name 2-0 (+2)
Welby Wolves 2-0 (-1)
Team Tebow Time 2-0 (+1)
Wet Pussy Best Pussy (1-1) (-2)
Fay's Fall Guys (1-1) (+3)
- - - - - - - - - - - -
Baz's Bumbandits (0-2) (-1)
Inevitable Failures (0-2) (-)
Plebroll AFC (0-2) (-2)
Tunsil Gas Masks (0-2) (-)
Bruh still leading the way with his autodraft team.

I can't find the trade menu on my phone, but there are plenty of other players I'd be willing to part with.
Not for Matt Stafford though...
Browning
19-09-2016, 12:44 PM
Haha, I already said to my mate that trade was never going to happen. It was more meant to open negotiations, but I couldn't get the notes thing to work on my phone. I half expected you to counter back with something either involving Rivers or maybe Delanie Walker. I'm open to it, but there are teams who need a QB much more than yourself.
I probably will once I finish work - it's much more hassle without my laptop.
For anyone interested, I'd consider parting with McCoy, Josh Gordon & obviously Eli, who will inevitably turn into a superstar as soon as I let him go. I'd also consider trading Rawls & Cobb, but they'd have to be good offers.
Browning
19-09-2016, 01:10 PM
I'll give you Stafford for any of them. :D
I'm pretty much open to trading anyone on my bench/flex really depending on the offer. I'm really looking for a RB who may get game time if Gurley continues to be horse shit, but doesn't need to be an every week starter kind of guy. I would be interested in Shady, depending on your valuation.

I do love the Trade Gurus suggestions. Here are my current ones:
Rivers for Forsett- Never.
Stafford for Ware- Probably would, but with Charles back next week wouldn't be confident he's worth much. Still for my QB3... yea, ok.
Walker for Gore- Never.
Walker for Gordon- I would, Dan wouldn't I doubt.
Walker for Jennings- Fuck off :D
Duke Johnson for Hilton- In what universe would that be accepted?
Walker for Abdullah- Nope...
Walker for Crowell- Nope.
Rivers for Gordon- It's possible, but again, Dan wouldn't.
Marvin Jones for Jennings- :D Nope.
Marvin Jones for Crowell- Again....
Not really sure what the point in it is when it throws up such shit that 9 times out of 10 I wouldn't entertain or would be way too good to be true. It seems to fail to find any middle ground.

Pleb Either of us winning a match-up with the 2nd lowest score of the week is ultimate scumbagery.
I still think you got this in the bag bud.
All it needs for you to fuck up is 10 yards or a massive injury blow up to fuck you right over.

Sorry Pleb.
You got rid of one injured RB and now the replacement is injured.

19-09-2016, 08:41 PM
Hmm I tried to have a look at countering your trade offer to see what the rosters were, but clicked the wrong button, and now it's vanished. I assume that rejects the trade? No problem if it does as it means I can just offer a new one if there's anything I want to offer, but yea, no idea why it vanished.
This was to Dan, probably should have mentioned that. :D
But yea, not really looking to downgrade my RBs, CJ is about the only good one I have.
Yeah, it said it was rejected. Don't know if you can actually counter-offer or not.
Sorry Pleb.
You got rid of one injured RB and now the replacement is injured.

That being said I don't think I should pull the trigger and trade him just yet.

I think you can, but you have to do it straight away. If you press counter and then close the browser or try and view any other pages (excluding other tabs, of course) then it must reject the trade.

I'm now 2-0 in both my leagues, but not without some luck. I've been 3rd and now 2nd lowest scorer of the week in the TTH league but scraped 2 wins out of it somehow. My luck is sure to run out next week.
3.3 points from Miller made sure that I had enough to sneak by the league average in the other league. Despite having 2 of the top 5 WRs of the week sat on my bench.

The Third Half Fantasy Football League (TTHFFL) Roundup and Week 3 Preview
Team Tebow Time (2-0-0) vs Welby Wolves (2-0-0)
Team Tebow Time had a massive scare during the Sunday games as Danny Woodhead suffered a massive blowout in Redskins defeat to the Cowboys only scoring 3.10. At the start of Monday NightF ootball Team Tebow Time only needed Ryan Matthews to start while at the same time not getting himself injured. Team Tebow Time needed 20+ yards to ultimately win their matchup against Plebroll AFC.
The Welby Wolves probably should have started Ryan Fitzpatrick as their starting Quarterback but settled for Arron Rodgers only scoring 17 points. With the help of Travis Benjamin the Welby Wolves dramatically defeated The Tunsil Gas Masks from what the fantasy neutralists can only describe it as a massive upset if you are stupid enough to only follow projected scorings.
Judging from week three’s matchup the Welby Wolves are set to continue to dominate the TTHFFL which doesn’t bode well for Team Tebow Time who admitted in a recent press conference saying “My luck is sure to run out next week.”
The Inevitable Failures (0-2-0) vs Plebroll AFC (0-2-0)
Plebroll AFC must have had a fantasy rush of blood starting Alex Smith this week as he only mustered a measly 3 points in the Chief’s matchup against the Texans. If Plebroll AFC thought things through properly they would have started Matt Ryan in the starting Quarterback position instead of starting Alex Smith. Isaiah Crowell’s masterful 20.80 points didn’t save Plebroll AFC from their impending defeat that was looming.
In what was meant to be a tight week two matchup The Inevitable Failures lost to the Miami Derphucks by a huge margin. Not even Kelvin Benjamin who went on a massive points scoring rampage could save The Inevitable Failures from winning their week two matchup.
Despite The Inevitable Failures going 0-2 for the season so far they are projected to hump Plebroll AFC up the rear mainly because the real life matchups favour The Inevitable Failures for some bizarre reason. Plebroll AFC may have to look at the waivers and/or trades for some kind of hope to hopefully get their fantasy season underway.
Baz’s Bumbandits (0-2-0) vs The Tunsil Gas Masks (0-2-0)
Baz’s Bumbandits should have looked at his bench to contribute more points in their hugely contested week two matchup with Fay’s Fall Guys losing by about six points which should give them extra motivation to win their next match with The Tunsil Gas Masks. If only they put Stefon Diggs in the flex spot and Martellus Bennett as Tight End that would of ultimately extended their lead even more.
The Tunsil Gas Masks had a week to forget as Adrian Peterson lived up to his hype by not actually playing any football at all. We can only imagine that either AP is banged up or he’s really that fucking stupid and shouldn’t be picked at all for week three’s intriguing matchup with Baz’s Bumbandits. Maybe they should have started Eric Decker instead.
Speaking of Baz’s Bumbandits they are projected to lose to The Tunsil Gas Masks by about a couple of points. Will The Tunsil Gas Masks luck continue to be bad or will they finally follow the projected scorings and actually win a fantasy matchup? Either way the pre-tournament favourites are wobbling pretty badly at this point.
Wet Pussy Best Pussy (1-1-0) vs Miami Derphucks (2-0-0)
Wet Pussy Best Pussy takes an unexpected loss to A Gurley Has No Name. Maybe he should have put Corey Coleman as a flex in place of an injured Keenan Allen who was unexpectedly placed on the IR list before the week two real life matches took place. Not even the rampant Cardinals defence would of saved the Wet Pussy.
The Miami Derphucks found the exclusive brass ring, took it and rolled with it by completely destroying The Inevitable Failures while at the same time not even giving them a chance to mount any sort of comeback. Carson Palmer completely destroying Eli Manning and co while breaking his thumb at the same time. What a don.
With this week three fantasy matchup officially dubbed as “The Auto-Draft Bowl” will the Miami Derphucks continue to use the brass ring or will Wet Pussy take it from behind and stop the Miami Derphucks in it’s tracks? The projected scorings suggest that Wet Pussy wins it which is bizarre really, have they seen their matchups for fuck sake? Saying that at the time of writing this Doug Martin has an MRI today and may ultimately impact the way this matchup is headed.
A Gurley Has No Name (2-0-0) vs Fay’s Fall Guys (1-1-0)
A Gurley Has No Name is fortunate to have a team that has almost every single position to score over 10 points in this league with only Todd Gurley scoring just 7 points for the Rams. If Wet Pussy placed Corey Coleman as a flex then you would have looked at A Gurley Has No Name losing their week two matchup which would have been out of their control. At least the Fantasy Football gods were on their side.
Fay’s Fall Guys would of extended their lead even further if Giovani Bernard was placed as one of the starting RBs from the bench. Other than that a nice unexpected win to start the season off finally. Hopefully this form continues as Fay’s Fall Guys is projected to win this match up but he may want to hope that Andrew Luck has one of those games against the Chargers.
Standings After Week 2…
Miami Derphucks (2-0-0)
A Gurley Has No Name (2-0-0)
Welby Wolves (2-0-0)
Team Tebow Time (2-0-0)
Wet Pussy Best Pussy (1-1-0)
Fay’s Fall Guys (1-1-0)
Baz’s Bumbandits (0-2-0)
The Inevitable Failures (0-2-0)
Plebroll AFC (0-2-0)
The Tunsil Gas Masks (0-2-0)
Fay's Fall Guys with the massive leap into a wildcard spot for the Championship Playoffs. The bottom four however needs to get their arses into gear so that they don't fall pray of the Wooden Spoon Consolation Playoffs.

I need a new TE in my other league. Cutler is gone for weeks and I've no clue about their back up guy.
Options on the waiver wire are Kyle Rudolph(Bradford seems to like him). Jared Cook, or Jacob Tamme. Kind of slim pickings but I'm not working with much on Miller anyway.

No waiver moves for me in either league this week, but in my third league (main league doesn't have a waiver wire) I was able to grab some Free Agents once they cleared this morning. Woodhead and Aaron Donald out, Dennis Pitta and Charles Sims in. Both become immediate flex plays for me this week if Martin is out.
Will need to find someone to cut to replace Donald, probably going to be Barn Yard Dog, but could be Lockett, C.Coleman, John Brown or Mike Wallace I guess.
Sir Andy Mahowry
21-09-2016, 11:32 AM
If anyone needs a RB in one of their other leagues, Kenneth Dixon...
He was taking first team reps in practice before he got injured and we were going to cut Forsett for good if he hadn't injured himself.
Forsett and West haven't done anything in the first two weeks so it's primed for Dixon to swoop in when he's back either this week or next.
Is there a way to cancel a waiver request? Can't find the option on my phone.

Donte Moncrief out for 4-6 weeks with a broken shoulder blade. Anyone have him?
Gray Fox
21-09-2016, 04:37 PM
Their back up is Hoyer so it's not the end of the world.
Wasn't he the Texans QB in their play-off loss last year, who couldn't throw for shit? In my mind he is so I've dumped Miller like he has the plague. Cook brought in because Tamme went on waivers. Packers also host the Lions this week. If their offense can't handle that with ease then I'll try to ship Rodgers out.
I have horrid match ups this week. Green(Broncos), Decker(Chiefs) and Benjamin(Vikings) will all likely be locked down but Jones and Cooks' teams go up against each other. I'll be playing those two but keeping an eye on Jones as he's 24/7 questionable. Miller goes up against the Pats who are dominant at home against most teams. But them being down to QB3 I reckon they're playing hard defence this week. Johnson selects himself against the Bills. I have no one for flex really as Matthews goes up against a tough Steelers defence.
I'm tempted to drop Arian Foster outright and pick up an risky out player, such as Ladarius Green, Dion Lewis or above mentioned Dixon and put them straight in my IR slot and then grab Mike Wallace(somehow still available).
Sir Andy Mahowry
21-09-2016, 05:01 PM

Both will be number 1 in their position for each team when back.

Green reckons he's back around week 7(probably 8 or 9), so I've brought him in as my TE need is greater. Also managed to grab Wallace and he's straight in the flex spot.
Donte Moncrief out for 4-6 weeks with a broken shoulder blade. Anyone have him?

I should be okay without him for a few weeks, even with Josh Gordon already clogging up one roster spot.

Yeah I'm a bit surprised at how shit he's been.
I was never too high on him at the Colts and thought that the Saints massively overpaid. However considering some of the tripe the Saints have had a TE over the years (even as backup when Graham was there) I thought he'd thrive.
I'm sure at times the Saints were just asking fans to line up and Brees would lob them a TD for shits and giggles.
I might need a decent WR if Edelman goes QB :uhoh:

Week 3 match up, need to bounce back big time after the raping last week.
QBs- Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers Vs Jameis Winston and Derek Carr
Love my QB match ups this week. His two could be big as well though. Projections have me to edge it by about 3 points, i'd hope for more.
RBs- Lamar Miller and Frank Gore Vs CJ Anderson and Duke Johnson
He is still waiting on Bell to come back and is missing J Stew so has to resort to Duke Johnson. This should edge it to me hopefully, but I do fear CJ. Gore is a risk for me but I just can't start Mathews or Ware over him this week given his soft match up. Hopefully he lights it up and convinces me to keep him in for Wembley.
WRs- Antonio Brown, Allen Robinson and AJ Green Vs Julio Jones, Alshon Jeffrey and Amari Cooper
For once I think his WRs compete with mine, thanks largely to the match ups. It's time for my guys to rebound after that God awful performance from all 3 of them last week.
TE- Greg Olsen Vs Julius Thomas
Obviously I like ol' reliable Greg Olsen here.
Flex- Dennis Pitta and Travis Benjamin Vs Kelvin Benjamin and Tajae Sharp
Bit of a coin flip considering how many targets my two get. I need Kelvin Benjamin to stop getting so many TDs... hopefully Olsen can steal them. Projections have this battle breaking even and I'd probably take that if offered it now, but I do think both of mine have potential.
The Rest- Hauschka, Crosby, Ari DST, Sean Lee, Reshad Jones and N. Suh Vs Tucker, Prater, New England DST, Von Miller, Marcus Peters and JJ Watt
Bit of a toss up as it always is. I like my double Dolphins against whatever Hobo is starting at QB for the Browns, but then he has Watt so..... yea....
Projections have me winning by just over 9 points but last week I was projected to win by about 30 points which is the biggest margin I've ever likely to see and wound up losing by about 70.... so yea... we see what those count for.
Hopefully I can pick up the win, but he is top of the table heading into it. That said, I was top after week 1 and got smashed, so hopefully the same happens to him.

I don't think he's a QB1 this week to be honest, it's not a great match up. However, yea, 11 points is ridiculous.
In my 3rd league I have Luck, Newton and Ryan.... leaving one on the bench is going to suck whichever one I pick.

I guess I should be glad that Miller even got into double digits. Did not expect to be waking up to that.
Is a 15 point lead generally safe in our league after TNF? :uhoh:
I hope not.
I'm just glad I wasn't up against Blount (at least in this league) or the Pats DEF this week, having been on the opposite end of monster scores from CJ Anderson in week 1 & Denver's D last week.

The Pats defense hurt me in my main league but Watt scoring 1 single point nullified some of it. He's only up about 4 points on projection which is fine.

My match-up for this week:
https://gyazo.com/e7da54e13a124ba24e40d0e794dcc410.png
Already being behind is annoying, although I think I got the only Texans player with a near acceptable points total. I say again that I hate Thursday games. It's a long one this week too as both of my WRs of choice play on Monday night. My head says they are the best 2 options considering, on paper, my WRs on the bench have horrid match-ups.
How is your team that strong? :cab:
I'd probably flex Decker over Wallace as he's an unstoppable points machine, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wallace went off considering how the Jags have played so far this season.

Rawls is listed as doubtful for Sunday now and Christine Michael is still a FA. He could be the answer to my flex spot and also, my opponent has Rawls so would probably pick him up. He's at home v 49ers with a busted up Wilson/receiving corps so should see work.
Is he worth the grab? I'm debating who to drop for him should I do it though. That's my biggest issue really.
Browning
23-09-2016, 10:37 PM
Probably not given you have no one to drop for him.
Gray Fox
25-09-2016, 12:25 AM
Julio causing me grief with only the one partial practice since last game. The league doesn't allow a TE at flex either so if I wait on him and he doesn't play then I'm screwed. The only real options to bring in are Matthews/Decker/Benjamin from the bench. I wouldn't mind Christine Michael as a 1 week flex play, but again it's dropping someone. My great team only really had 1 spot for a drop and I replaced him with Wallace who I'd like to play for the next 3 weeks.
My opponent had 3 doubtfuls in her team of Snead, Rawls and Gates in the previous shot I put on here. She's swapped them out for Demaryius, Coleman and Tamme. This means it's going down to the Monday game for sure, unless one of us is 40odd points ahead. Fleener, Allen and Rudolph are all now listed as FA. The punt is obviously Fleener for this week, but I'm not sure I'd like so much riding on one game. I made that mistake last week and it nearly cost me.

I suppose this is the downside to having an all round good team. Someone you choose to bench is always going to go off.
I'm keeping an eye on the Packers this week though. Almost every member of their offense has been bad for a while now. Rodgers is on an 11 game streak without a 300 yard game and an even longer one without a 100+ passer rating. I might use his name and seek out a trade for Brady plus something, though I'm not sure if to offer the trade before the game today or after. We could in theory get the trade done before the game should the commissioner approve it in time. I have Palmer too so losing Rodgers isn't a massive loss and we all know what Brady/Belichick can do with NE. I have to sit Rodgers on his bye next week anyway.
I'm debating if I should start Ryan over Smith in our league :sherlock:
Gray Fox
25-09-2016, 11:46 AM
You really, really should start any and all players from Mondays game if you can.
Decker is a safe floor fantasy bet with big upside, particularly if Marshall doesn't go. I wouldn't hesitate to get him into a lineup this week if I needed him.
No, you just play Julio. He will start.
Well yeah, but if he was out Benjamin is the best of the three. I do love Decker too though.
I have the same problem with Snead, who is questionable, but I do at least have Cobb & McCoy to switch into the FLEX spot over him. I'll be mad when he plays & gets 15pts, but I'd be even more mad if I played him & he got ruled out.

I'm 23 points up and done for tonight. Opponent has Fitzpatrick and Hauschka tonight. I'm hoping to come out of tonight somewhere close to even. It was looking good for me until Demaryius racked up 10 more points with his 50yd TD, combined with Kelvin posting a goose egg.
That goose egg could be costly, although my other option at WR was Wallace and he got 4 points.
Tomorrow night sees her Coleman and Tamme go against my Cooks, Julio and Fleener.
I should have wins in my other two leagues, barring some monster performance, but I get the feeling TTH will come down to how many points Matt Ryan scores. If the Saints can keep him no higher than 25pts I think we should have a chance, but this is definitely the league I'm most concerned about.

You're really not.
Broken 100 in all three leagues with that Luck TD. One tie still in the balance as he has Rivers & Mike Evans who could potentially get another TD after the restart, while I have Gurley, Gordon, Dan Bailey and a 2pt lead.

Pretty much done, though I'm not sure how:
QB- Once again this position conspires against me. Palmer and Rivers were both QB1s on every ranking site imaginable, yet combined for slightly more than Carr managed on his own with Palmer being the lowest scorer of the whole match bar 2 IDPs and Kelvin. Winston puts up 39 points so I was destroyed here.
RB- Miller and Duke Johnson basically cancelled out but the late addition, Vereen, outscored CJ Anderson by some 12 points to claw back a bit of the QB damage. Vereen ended up being the correct play at RB2 but only by 1 point. He's already been cut to make way for a spare kicker while Crosby is on bye, though I will drop Crosby if anything good becomes available.
WR- Julio is yet to play but my WR1, Antonio Brown, has set him a target of 28 points, which is 7 more than he managed last week, and won't be enough to win the match up by a long way. Robinson outscored Jeffrey by 14 points and Green beat Cooper by 7.
TE- Thomas got a couple of balls late on, but Olsen takes it by 10 points.
Flex- Travis was disappointing but outscored Sharpe by 2 points. Pitta's 12 points went up against Kelvin's doughnut.
The rest- He wins the Kicker battle by 5 points and the DST battle by 10 points. I have no idea how the Cards scored 13 points. However I won the IDP battle by 14 points to basically cancel that stuff out.
The end result is Julio needing 46 points against a projection of 24. It isn't impossible but that's 10 more than AJ Green managed in week 1 when he caught 12 balls for 180 yards and a TD. It should be in the bag, but we will see.
In my third league I'm about to go 3-0, as well as 3-0 for the season against Fay's Fall Guys across my 3 leagues, as he needs Freeman and Snead to combine for some 130 points.
Picked up the win in TTH too, despite my WR woes.
I don't think my matchup with Dan is done and dusted.
Ryan and Sanu to go on a tear and win it for me...hopefully.

It's a bit ridiculous that Me Vs Fay is the only match that's actually in the books already. Oh well. 3-0.
My Predictions:
Ian to beat Gray Fox. Ingram just looks proper wank, and it's going to be a passing game. I guess 30 yards is a fair amount to make up, so could go either way still.
Dan to hold off Pleb. Sanu is an after thought in the Falcons passing game, so I can't see it coming off. Week 1 he got almost all his points on 1 play and week 2 he was shit.
Baz to beat Mahow. Another one that could go either way but it requires Freeman finding the end zone, and honestly I think Coleman has a better shot at that, Freeman looks inferior to him. Shame Baz started an injured RB in the flex.
Bruh to win the Auto draft bowl. 13 points is nothing for Julio and Cooks. Mert leaving his DST spot empty is just bizarre.
I took the close tie by 5pts, and should have the other one unless Fleener scores 21pts on his own.

I have no nails left but Fleener looks to have done enough to hold off Coleman and his 27 point game. Tamme doing nothing helped me out in both leagues. Barring score corrections I've won 91.1 - 93.6 in my work league and 128.8 -110.1 in TTH league. Literally 1 catch by Fleener was the difference there. But for ours Ian was unlucky. There was only me and Dan he would have lost to this week.
Worrying for me was that my receiving corps of Julio, Cooks, Kelvin, Decker, Wallace and AJ Green all combined for 18.2 points this week. The latter 4 had tough games lined up but the former 2 didn't manage 4 points between them in the shoot-out game of the week.
Cheers for dropping Fleener lads :)

Now I've had time to sleep on it, I'm a worried Julio Jones owner. The Falcons are clearly happy not feeding him the ball now as long as it goes to someone. Both backs can run and catch well, as well as Sanu, Tamme and even Hardy getting targets now. Add to this problem their next 3 fixtures are Carolina, @ Denver and @ Seattle. And then add that he seems to be playing through injury. I'm not acting on it yet, but I've been looking around to see who I could target in trades.
Any other Julio owners here thinking the same?

Doing well has buggered me in my other league. It's becoming more evident how unfair the waiver rank resetting each week is on the guys doing well. Ryan Matthews is badly banged up and by the sounds of it our bye week was not a moment too soon for him. I don't have much depth at RB however. I have Johnson, Miller and McCoy ahead of Matthews now and wanted to pick up Jordan Howard, but being last in the queue I had no chance. Instead he was claimed by a guy who made 3 claims last week. Still, can't complain while you're winning, right?
My match-up for this coming week looks like this right now:
https://gyazo.com/07152da25370afab07dd59a565d083b1.png
I picked up the Bengals defence as Tannehill is always capable of pulling interceptions out of guaranteed TDs. They should also be angry after being stung by Siemian. I've not a lot of wiggle room elsewhere. I'm very wary of Palmer after last weeks stinker and Rivers is sat on the wire. After seeing the Saints practically pulling people out the crowd to play defence, it could well be play all of your Chargers week.

Joique Bell is a bit of a desperate grab isn't it? I know Langford is gone for 4 weeks but surely there's someone better than him.
Browning
28-09-2016, 10:26 AM
I'm not saying anyone should pick up Joique Bell, but he will take a chunk out of Howard's work. Particularly on passing downs it seems.
I was the 2nd person to make a claim, but 3 other people (excluding Fay, so 4 in total) could have claimed DeSean ahead of me, but didn't bother. That's what I'm surprised about.
In my 3rd league (the other one with a Waiver system) I got both of my claims somehow. Vereen and Lockett out, Pryor and Tyrell Williams in.
Gray Fox
28-09-2016, 10:36 AM
I just couldn't pass on Pryor in TTH league. If he plays a similar role this week he gives potential QB/RB/WR points in one go.
Has anyone ever thrown, rushed and received a TD in the same game before?
Browning
28-09-2016, 10:46 AM
There was a QB who threw a TD to himself once. Double points. :D
Gray Fox
28-09-2016, 11:52 AM
Well if it'll be anyone, it'll be Pryor :D
My opponent has just updated his lineup and put Sanders and McKinnin in. Another week I'll be waiting on the Monday game. I've just noticed I have pairs in all but 1 of my match ups too.
Palmer has looked decent at home, as he is this week, but he looks shaky. I'd love to bring in Rivers or Brees but I don't think I should all out drop Palmer and the Brees owner(also has Cam) seemed to think that, due to my comments in the WhatsApp group about him being better than Wilson, that I could only have him for my #1 RB. Rivers, Dalton, Osweiler and Bortles are all FA right now as is 'Jimmy G' as an outside the box play.
Browning

Get Rivers in for this week if you can.
There's a recap section which makes my writeups look a little bit shit.

Tomlinson passed a few on option plays and the like, wouldn't surprise me if he'd thrown, caught and run in a touchdown in the same game.

In one of my league's (the money one), a trade has been accepted.
Terrelle Pryor for Gronk :cab:
It had better get fucking vetoed.
The geezer with Gronk actually proposed it. This is worse than Pleb.

A round 1 (2 at worst) talent for a guy who has been relevant for all of a week? Yea, veto that.
Why don't I play in any leagues with people who offer me such deals?
Browning
28-09-2016, 09:14 PM
Week 4 and I'm against the guy who so far has lost Allen, Woodhead, Moncrief and Martin to injuries, but he is patched up pretty well:
QB- Carson Palmer and Phillip Rivers Vs Cam Newton and Russell Wilson
This guy went QB/QB in the first 2 rounds and possibly has the best combination of QBs in the league, or at least is 2nd in that respect (one guy has Rodgers and Brees so probably wins out). Still with Wilson's lingering injuries it gives me some hope I can at least equal him here. Palmer SHOULD bounce back at home. If not his position in my team will be under serious threat. Projection- He wins by 4 points.
RBs- Lamar Miller and Frank Gore Vs Melvin Gordon and Theo Riddick
This is the position I am most worried about this week. He has 2 elite options and Gordon could very well vulture TDs away from Rivers. I'm not convinced by Gore but I have to go with him no matter what as I'll be at Wembley and I need more reason to care than just Allen Robinson. In honesty him Vs Ware would probably be a toss up anyway.Projections- He wins by 3 points.
WRs- Antonio Brown, AJ Green and Allen Robinson Vs Jarvis Landry, Tyler Lockett and Steve Smith Sr
My guys seemed to bounce back last week, and the match ups are a lot friendlier than they have been recently. Landry is a PPR stud but I'm not too concerned by the other 2. Should in theory be a slam dunk, which means his lot will go off. Projections- I win by 14 points.
TE- Greg Olsen Vs Delanie Walker
It's not idea that Greg's success is tied to Cam, but thankfully the PPR should mean every time Greg makes a catch my score goes up more than my opponents. Given he is Cam's only truly reliable target, I'll take it. Should be a close contest, and the projections can't separate them either.
Flex- Travis Benjamin and Emmanuel Sanders Vs DeVante Parker and Charles Sims
Hopefully Travis bounces back because I could do with some of the double TDs I missed out on in week 2 when I benched Rivers. Sanders was on my bench in both my other leagues when he went off last week so he better not let me down. Parker looks good but hopefully the fact he has him and Landry will limit their potential somewhat. Fingers crossed he's not out of sight by the end of Thursday. Projections- Pretty much dead even.
The Rest- Arizona DST, Hauschka, Catanzaro, Bowman, Jones and Suh Vs Cincinnati DST, Boswell, Santos, Kuechly, Collins and Mack
Bit annoyed he picked up the Bengals meaning including IDP there will be 6 players (Green, Jones and Suh Vs Landry, Parker and Cinci) playing on Thursday night because Thursday nights are absolute cunts. The projections for this pretty much break even as well, but overall I'm currently projected to win by about 9 points. Annoyingly this was about 30 points not that long ago, and it's just moved more and more in his favor since. Oh well, fingers crossed for another win!
I still demand a write up.
The Third Half Fantasy Football League (TTHFFL) Roundup and Week 4 Preview
Plebroll AFC (0-3-0) vs Wet Pussy Best Pussy (2-1-0)
The Inevitable Failures completely decimated Plebroll AFC 126.10 to 72.40 while putting up the second-highest score of the season so far during week 3. Plebroll AFC is having a nightmare this season as they are hoping to snap a losing streak of three games against Wet Pussy Best Pussy. Matt Ryan led the team with 19.90 points (who was the only high scoring player on Plebroll AFC’s team sheet) while the Baltimore Ravens defense brought in 11.00 who are their only saviors during their matchup with The Inevitable Failures. This defeat plummets Plebroll AFC towards the bottom of the standings which is getting dangerously close to Katy Perry “I’m Wide Awake” levels. Let’s hope the likes of Dwayne Washington and Tevor Siemian push Plebroll AFC further up the standings.
Wet Pussy Best Pussy drops a huge one by knocking the Miami Derphucks off the top spot in the TTHFFL standings by beating them 83.26 to 73.86. Jarvis Landry led Wet Pussy Best Pussy with 19.60 points while Travis Kelce scored 14.90. Wet Pussy Best Pussy took a 5.20-point lead after the Sunday afternoon games and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. While each team failed to meet expectations, Wet Pussy Best Pussy scored 85.6% of their projected 97.26 points to get the win they so desired. With Corey Coleman doing a Kelvin Benjamin and Wet Pussy not starting a defensive side in their lineup for week three it makes you wonder how big the winning score would have become.
There seems to be a pattern forming for Plebroll AFC as they are again projected to lose another matchup this time to Wet Pussy which is a little bit worrying considering the waivers that Plebroll AFC has put into his squad. Will this be the week where their losing streak finally gets snapped or will Wet Pussy take the W again? Who knows? More importantly will Wet Pussy actually pick a Defense? We highly doubt it but one things for sure this matchup is one to keep one eye on which could ultimately impact the season as a whole.
The Inevitable Failures (1-2-0) vs Team Tebow Time (3-0-0)
The Inevitable Failures needed David Johnson to go on a massive tear during the Monday Night game for the Alanta Falcons against the New Orleans Saints. There was turmoil in The inevitable Failures squad for week three as Kelvin Benjamin did absolutely bugger all in his game for the Panthers against the Vikings and hardly caught any single football as they were real fucking dumb not to throw the ball at him which is silly really as isn’t he their number one Wide Reciever in their offence? Either way that doesn’t matter now as the likes of Eli Manning and company completely decimated Plebroll AFC to move into a Wildcard spot and they hope to stay there within the top six as the season progresses.
Team Tebow Time used Sunday Night Football to dramatically beat Welby Wolves by 128.82 to 110.10. Christine Michael with the massive 100+ rush yards, 2 touchdowns and 5 receiving yards ultimately helped them destroy the Welby Wolves which puts them respectively in the top two slot hoping to go for a first round bye for the inaugural TTHFFL Championship Playoffs. The Vikings defensive with 28 points clearly helped in their dominant win.
The Inevitable Failures hoping to go 2-2-0 by decimating Team Tebow Time (calm your tits it’s only projected scorings for fuck sake) by about 20 points. Let’s hope the Waivers guide you both to success or utter doom or both. Who knows.
Welby Wolves (2-1-0) vs Baz’s Bumbandits (0-3-0)
The Welby Wolves suffers their first defeat of the season as Team Tebow Time used the Sunday Night Football game to their advantage the filthy fuckers. Not even Aaron Rodgers, Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree and Tavon Austins could save the Welby Wolves from the jaws of defeat. With Kirk Cousins now back in the TTHFFL under a different team and Aaron Rodgers on a bye week we hope to see kirk Cousins doing something worthwhile this week and that is to actually play a game of Football. He may have to look at Quincy Enunwa if he wants to get more points this week but the ultimate question lies within…will they ever trust a Jet player this season?
Baz’s Bumbandits struggles this season continue to mount as they were destroyed by The Tunsil Gas Masks with Cam “Roughing the Passer” Newton (13.08), DeMarco Murray (21.50), Ezekiel Elliot (16) and DeMarylus Thomas (14) clearly not doing enough to get the Baz’s Bumbandits their first win of the TTHFFL season. Not even their bench would of saved them last week. Let’s hope for the love of god that Baz’s Bumbandits gets a kicker because Mason Crosby is on a bye week and they could do with another 10+ points from a kicker this week.
This matchup looks tighter than Wet Pussy’s attempt to dethrone the Plebroll AFC. A eight point projected score gap seperates both sides which could go either way. Another match to keep an eye upon which again could impact the way this season has gone.
The Tunsil Gas Masks (1-2-0) vs A Gurley Has No Name (3-0-0)
The Tunsil Gas Masks took a surprise win against Baz’s Bumbandits who clearly relied heavily on Devonta Freeman to get them out of a sticky hole scoring 26.70 points. Mike Evans (19.20) and Russell Wilson (14.02) helped Devonta Freeman and The Tunsil Gas Masks to secure their maiden victory of the season so far which pushes them slowly up towards a Wildcard spot in the TTHFFL standings.
A Gurley Has No Name continues to defy the odds as they comfortably beat Fay’s Fall Guys by a huge margin. They would have to now thank Todd Gurley (20 points) and Matt Jones (32.50) for whom without them A Gurley With No Name wouldn’t of won this matchup with authority. Andrew Luck continues to have an interesting Fantasy Football season and we won’t hold A Gurley Has No Name responsible if they bench or cut Andrew Luck from their lineup for week 4.
The Tunsil Gas Masks may have to go 1-3-0 if they don’t cover a TE position quickly before the games start and lock. Adding Carson Wentz and Jordan Matthews to the team may have been deemed silly as they are both on a bye week and thus cannot be picked to start for week 4. They may have to rely on Russell Wilson and Mike Evans to give The Tunsil Gas Masks the scores they so desperately desire. Meanwhile will A Gurley Has No Name drop Andrew Luck for Phillip Rivers? We’ll let you dwell on that motion.
Miami Derphucks (2-1-0) vs Fay’s Fall Guys (1-2-0)
Fay’s Fall Guys needed the Fantasy Football gods to help him beat A Gurley Has No Name but instead had to settle for one of the most lowest scoring games for the whole TTHFFL for week 3. You can tell a fantasy football matchup is so bad when a kicker scores you sub 10 to 15 points to soften the blow. Not even a rampant TY Hilton would have saved Fay’s Fall Guys on this occasion.
The Miami Derphucks suffered a shock defeat in the “Auto-Draft Bowl” to Wet Pussy Best Pussy with Carlos Hyde (24.50) the only player scoring the much needed points for them. If Wet Pussy played a defensive side of any kind the score would have been a lot worse for the former TTHFFL league leaders.
The Miami Derphucks may have to bite the bullet and drop Tannehill for Winston for this matchup if he’s likely to get any points this week as he’s projected to fall by around about 20 points against Fay’s Fall Guys. Saying that both sides may have to look at their running backs to hopefully bolster their squad and give them crucial points for this intriguing matchup this week.
Standings After Week 3…
A Gurley Has No Name (3-0-0)
Team Tebow Time (3-0-0)
Wet Pussy Best Pussy (2-1-0)
Welby Wolves (2-1-0)
Miami Derphucks (2-1-0)
The Inevitable Failures (1-2-0)
Fay’s Fall Guys (1-2-0)
The Tunsil Gas Masks (1-2-0)
Baz’s Bumbandits (0-3-0)
Plebroll AFC (0-3-0)
A Gurley Has No Name and Team Tebow Time the only two teams with a 100% record, saying that Baz’s Bumbandits and Plebroll AFC have a 100% record for all the wrong reasons and are looking to get out of this sticky rot by hopefully winning their respective matchups.
Wet Pussy Best Pussy’s heroics knocks the Miami Derphucks down into the wildcard spots while climbing slowly up by two places in third. The Tunsil Gas Masks are looking to go 2-2-0 soon as they edge ever closer to the luxurious final wildcard spot hoping to knock out The Inevitable Failures at the same time. Meanwhile Fay’s Fall Guys and Baz’s Bumbandits are…uh…well…not moving that far ahead of the standings. Welby Wolves are just looking to consolidate a wildcard slot and we don’t blame them to be honest with you.

By the time I got back home Rivers had been claimed. A trade has also gone through of Travis Kelce for Jimmy Graham. 2 things I find odd about this trade. 1, it was the Kelce owner who has been pushing this since week 1. 2, the new Kelce owner also has Greg Olsen. Talk about greedy.
EDIT: I've just clocked on that Graham was being hunted by a Seahawks fan.
No one has nabbed Pryor but until Rodgers gets his bye week out the way, I need Palmer in my slot that I can switch people in and out of. Do I pick up Pryor for Mike Wallace? He's the only other guy I could live with myself cutting.

He won't be.
He'll be scoring points for fun and is our number 1. I've had him locked up since week 1 in some leagues. There's a reason that all the fantasy gurus have been saying to stash him for the past few weeks. He's going to rip it next Sunday.

I've taken the punt and trusted Mahow, adding Kenneth Dixon while dropping Mason Crosby. I was trying to hold Crosby through his bye so I could play Hauschka/Catanzaro this week and then Crosby/Catanzaro before binning the Cat, but there are so many kickers out there with more points than Crosby that he doesn't seem worth it. I'll have to drop someone next week unless I want to give up Hauschka, but so be it. He better be good. And by good I don't mean only Mahow thinks he's good like Kamar Aiken.
I've also added him in my 3rd league. Fuck off Thomas Rawls.

Decker is now out for the weekend. Has a minor tear on his rotator cuff but is now week-to-week for the future. This means I can move him to one of our 3(I know right?) IR spots and in comes Dixon. If he moves to an out designation he'll take spot #3 and I'll bring in someone else.
IR spots in fantasy feel a bit like cheating to me. Having to decide whether to drop a top player because of an injury is half of the fun/misery.

Made some last minute changes. It's odd dropping Julio but apparently Cam was furious that there were no plans to use Kelvin last week and they are up against a weak defence with no working run game right now. As for flex, it's too hard to give up on sneaking a potential extra QB into a 1 QB league. If Pryor does do the same as last week, then he should be a guaranteed 5-10 points but he's worth the punt for the potential upside.
My choice now is if I drop Palmer and Fleener for Bortles and Pitta. Latter 2 are both FAs.
Sir Andy Mahowry
02-10-2016, 12:34 PM
I'd do Fleener for Pitta, I've done it in most of my leagues. I just don't feel like 'Coby' can be trusted. He's more likely to have a monster game than Pitta but he's also more likely to put up a goose egg.
