Obviously losing the first 6 isn't great, but in a match that long there are always spells when one player will win 4,5 or 6 frames in a row.

Dennis Taylor came back from 8-0 down to beat Davis in 85, Hendry won 10 in a row to beat White 18-14 and Selby himself came back from miles behind against Ronnie when he won his maiden title.

I'd still have Selby to win, not because of the 6-0 start, but because he's the best match player ever to play the game and he'll no doubt grind the shit out of it if Ding gets any closer.
The reason I say it's too much to give up is because it is Selby. Every time Ding has moved within one frame so far, Selby turns it on and moves clear again. Ding will need a big break here to get some momentum going.
