Footage on the Wiki page.
Quite lucky it happened over the river as the death toll could have been a lot higher otherwise.
Having seen the footage this one seems pretty suspect on the helicopter pilot. Completely clear night and the plane had full lights on.
I don't know if the plane pilot had any control at all(doubtful he was alive following contact) but it's lucky the thing landed in a river. Sadly there's surely zero chance of a survivor though.
The US armed forces are never at fault.
Yeah, reminds me of Cavalese.
Donald, can you end your tweets (sorry, TRUTHS) some other way, please?"This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!"
"CLEAR NIGHT!"
Has he never watched Air Crash Investigation before?
For what it's worth, the helicopter pilot confirmed to ATC he could see the CRJ and requested visual separation. The CRJ would've been unaware of this communication because military/civ planes are on separate frequencies.
This is on Trump. Already degrading safety in America.
The Balloon is becoming more deadly.
God just didn't think any of these people were going to be needed to save America.
What is that, the third major commercial air disaster this year? Feels like a lot.
No survivors.
Don't get this at all. The helicopter basically ignored air traffic control and drove straight in to the plane. Something fishy.
Is this down to Bill Gates as well
Trump being quick to blame diversity hires at ATC make me think he's shagged every child on that plane.
That is obviously the biggest of reaches but, I talked about it here before, the DEI stuff in ATC was pretty mental.
Someone who worked in my company was in the plane.
Is it DEI or is it simply an controller shortage that means they'll take on allcomers? It's an intense gig and you can't just throw anybody at it.
Found it. It was definitely DEI gone mad.

Tldr (from memory): someone complained there were not enough blacks. Exam was changed from intelligence based to more 'sociological' based. Things that gave you high points: being bad at math in school and long unemployment (). Black associations were given access to the exam beforehand and told how to answer to get high grades. Everyone else was blindsided.

You think things had gone nuts enough over here and then you see what the US has been up to. Absolute madness.
Even so, a President shouldn't be entertaining that ahead of an actual investigation that will almost certainly conclude pilot error. 'cos the pilot mistook one CRJ for another, ascended to 400 feet on a 200 foot limit, was off-course anyway and was wearing night vision goggles. I fail to see what else the ATC could've done.

Five Guys fries are outstanding but I wouldn't part with British prices for them.

Of all the American burger places, only Five Guys is any good. But you're easily looking at >£40 for two people, which is pretty insane for a burger and chips. They sell beer though.
Almost everything in the UK is grossly overpriced at the moment.
Almost everyone in the UK is grossly underpaid.
It's a horrible tragedy and all but he is a funny man.
I know it's funny but it's absolutely repulsive this is a world leader. Repulsive. It's what you'd expect from a chaotic troll on the fringes of an extreme social group in the dark corners of the internet.
It's funny but it's not. I laughed regardless.
