Facht.
You don't even have a kid you powernonce.
If it's good it's good, who cares if it's aimed at kids.
The Death of Stalin gets the PATENTED and HIGHLY COVETED stamp of GOOD from RL.
It's been a while.
I have been drilling holes in the earth for thirty years. And I have never, never missed a depth that I have aimed for. And by God, I am not gonna miss this one. I will make 800 feet.
You swear on your daughter's life, on my family's, that you can hit that mark?
I will make 800 feet. I swear to God I will.

The second Armadillo turning up is the greatest pop in cinema.
It's sad when actors get ideas above their station.
'How hard can it be? Aim the drill at the ground and turn it on...' Watch the film you silly cunt.
Likewise with Independence Day
"Goldblum brings down an incredibly advanced alien civilisation with his laptop, lol, rofl, snaffle, lol, rofl, queb"
Fuck off.
You can tell how Yevrah would react to actors questioning his script.
‘Yeah but mate doesn’t this seem a bit out of character?’
‘You sound like the fuckers before we set up the private forum. You’re sacked.’
"You're actors. Sell it."
And with that, Disney+ is now recommending I watch Independence Day, don't mind if I do.United States Air Force, ma'am. Requesting permission to shake the hand of the daughter of the bravest man I've ever met.
I think it was more the case he just enjoyed winding Bay up about things, secure in his multi-million dollar contract. I always preferred The Rock over Armageddon out of the Bay films, personally.
Anyone seen the new Spider-Man yet?
Spidey is out today here in Greece,i think the worldwide release is tomorrow.
My brother saw it last night and reckons it’s the best marvel movie yet.

Now there's a plane that deserved to crash.
Really enjoyed Ron’s Gone Wrong, made me laugh a few times.
Started Finch. Stopped, the robot sounds like Borat.
I've decided not to bother with The Vault after reviewing the piss-poor game they put out to tie in with the film's release. I assume they're linked by Sony or something.
The Matrix. Ehhh s’okay I guess. Not looking forward to II and III now though.
I'm a twit
Is that the first Matrix, Baz? And is that somehow the first time you've seen it....????
He showed you what they didn't want you to see.
2 and 3 are shite, there are some alright ideas and set pieces but the first one is comfortably the best. I remember listening to the soundtrack, I think the thing that dates it more than anything is despite being sci fi it is very 'of it's time'.
The main problem in sci-fi films is when they try to explain everything.
It's always best to keep it kind of vague and to have some action in there. Everyone understands the concept and what's going on. It appears "deep" enough but actually isn't really.
2 and 3 go full on trying to explain everything, whilst disappearing up its own ass with the themes. There's some great fight scenes in it though and it also gave us the madness that is John Wick later down the line.
And they have it explained by Colonel Sanders which doesn't help.
Just watched 2. I actually didn’t mind it.
I mean it’s mostly a brainless action film and my god some of the fight scenes are boring as hell, like so mind-numbingly wanted to turn it off shite, but it wasn’t as bad I was expecting.
Also fairly sure I’ve never seen 2 before, despite definitely watching 3 in the cinema with my mates.Presumably I didn’t wanna miss out on a waaaay cinema trip after sixth form lads lads lads day out.

The Unforgivable on Netflix is decent.
Knives Out - aye/nay?
If you can stand Craig's accent.
One of my favourite films in the last few years.
I'm half an hour into Don't Look Up and it's absolutely horrible.
The reviews said as much.
I've started so I'll finish, but if it keeps up (and there's no sign that it won't) there'll be a proper rant coming.
I'm really not sure about this new matrix. It's fucking bizarre.
The reviews said as much.
I downloaded Carol as something vaguely Christmassy to watch the other day. We turned it off after half an hour, it was sooooo fucking boring.
I think the second half of the matrix is much stronger (or enjoyable) than the first. They play loads of the Matrix classics throughout.
I'd say it's worth the watch even if it's just the nostalgia.
It's very Star Wars: The Force Awakens in that, it introduces a lot of new characters, with some old faces, but they replay a lot of the hits of the previous film(A new hope) and they come off somehow worse.
I said to a mate when the trailer came out I really didn't want it to end a certain way and it did exactly that unfortunately. Not even Keanu can get me to like this one.
As Red Letter Media admitted in their Ghostbusters Afterlife review, despite their positive reaction to TFA it has basically made nostalgia bait a better option than original creativity.
