Who’s shooting up where?

It's like Giggles doesn't have the Internet apart from TTH.
So some historian did a Hitler impression at a Cambridge Union debate about Good Taste... he did the impression to prove that bad taste exists.
They have now blacklisted him.

The fuck is wrong with these people?
Universities jumped the shark long, long ago. You MUST NOT say anything that could be offensive, even if only doing so to show that it is offensive.
Reminded me of a news presenter or someone reading a quote from someone else who got it to trouble for said quote. Presenter proceeded to get into trouble for reading the quote. I don't think they reported on reporter getting into trouble for reporting.

Slightly better than Alan Partridge stealing a traffic cone.
I once mooned a Princess Cruise Ship from our balcony on P&O Azura, so I stand in support of my brother in arse.
Were you tackled by six police officers when you got home?![]()
Not sure if this is news, but I've left the house today without my belt. Walking around London today with a loose waistline is going to a nightmare. (And no way am I buying a new belt when I have a good one at home).
Pre-pandemic, yeah. Not so sure now as they're being particularly strict on testing etc, and getting stuck in a tiny cabin for 2 weeks after testing positive would be even more miserable than on a normal holiday.
Once all this bollocks finally fucks off though, go for it. It's great. Although I'd only do a fly-cruise, otherwise you end up with a load of sea-days getting to the Caribbean or wherever. With a Fly-Cruise you get to explore a new place every day. I think we did Barbados, Antigua, St Vincent, St Kitts, St Lucia, St Maarten and Tortola.
Nice one, thanks
I'd love to do that if I could keep the travel sickness at bay.
It wasn't too bad as the waters there are pretty calm. We had one rough night going past Puerto Rico where drinking in the bar at the top of the ship proved to be too much for a few stomachs, but otherwise it was smooth enough.
I think it's more of a problem with Mediterranean cruises, especially if you have to go past the Bay of Biscay, which looks fun. Think even my stomach would give out.
Was your lodge one of those containers?
Quincy doesn't seem like the mandem blud type.

Talk about a race to the bottom![]()
Well, that empty gesture is going to make a world of difference.
Racism was defeated eventually (see Kiko's departure from Great Britain) through similar 'empty gestures'.
Don't be fooled, Kiko only moved to follow in the footsteps of his hero. He's already been around the Beer Halls giving his speeches.
What awareness of homelessness needs to be raised exactly? Is there anyone living in this county who isn't aware of people being homeless and how utterly horrible it must be?
Charities who focus on "awareness" should be disbanded and all their assets seized, the fucking wasters.
I think the PL are trying to save clubs from themselves there.
There are alot of people (probably most) that don't realise how widespread it is. Alot of people just think it's the people sat on sleeping bags in the highstreet. Druggies and Alcoholics.
The "housing crisis" is absolutely mental. There are families living in cars, sleeping on floors in friends houses and - if they're really lucky - staying in "temporary housing", which usually means bumping around properties like this.
Awareness and action is desperately needed. Burnley wearing the wrong colour at home probably isn't going to cut it.
Teams needlessly play in away and third kits so often now I dunno how much people would even think about it if they only saw it at a glance.
It's not a problem you can solve but it's a problem we could reduce by about 99% fairly easily. But homelessness keeps housing prices going up so here we are.
Remember when we were all aware of Kony. That helped.
Par for the times we live in. We care deeply about things for about 2 weeks, then if it isn't solved we move on.
Homelessness only stays on my radar because I talk to people that have suffered it more or less every day at work so it's easy for me to keep caring.
It's like I always say to them; "just stop being poor".
I’d say there’s a fair whack of them suffer from a good dose of bing bone idle, resulting in poorness.
The vast majority of them are evicted by private landlords (sometimes their own fault, sometimes not), can't find anywhere else (alot of landlords refuse benefit claimants) and end up on the council waiting list which can take years.
It's usually single parents with no support, for who getting a full-time job is impossible.
Nah it's like giggles said. It's just pure laziness and we have zero inequality.
The planning system strikes again. I think people also conflate those types of people with tramps, many of whom would find a way to fuck a house up and be homeless within weeks of giving them one, which makes it harder to 'solve' from a spending money on them perspective.
I've often wondered how hard it would be to steal a house. An empty one obviously.
They're not homeless, they're unhoused.
I'm a twit
They're not dead, they're just not breathing.
They're not unemployed, they're in between jobs.
Not impossible: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-essex-59069662
You could probably make a couple of thousand by curling up in a sleeping bag in Tottenham if they manage to get the go-ahead.
I haven't checked if they're playing at home, mind, so you might just get AIDS.
Surely easier back in those days when there weren't several sovereign nation wealth funds scrambling for every lot in London.
Must be very doable where there's no demand.
Yes this was when Brixton was yet to feel the petrodollar grasp of gentrification where they started taking over pubs and kicking the regulars of decades out etc.
