Poor management.
I know it's Ronaldo and there's history, but this is madness. Last days of Rome.

People (Mahow, specifically) said the same about Cavani. It's not like United are going to go bankrupt tomorrow paying his wages for 2 years.
Let a man hope.
Plus seventy quid a named/numbered shirt, times six-hundred million fans or whatever it is, and you've paid the debt off and revamped the stadium. No brainer mate.
Cyrus the virus heading to Serie A![]()
God I hope so.
How much would you expect James to sell for? £30m seems like loads.
Sissoko is 32 and shite. I'm not sure he can be considered cheap.
Which seems about right.
£30 million for James is fuck loads. We only paid £15m.
Is trolling with his "last days of Rome" stuff? James was clearly not good enough and Ronaldo is Ronaldo and the club can easily afford him.
A bit.
I do think it's mental though. That United team has glaring problems and Ronaldo is not the answer.
Doubling our money on Janiel Dames is an excellent bit of business. Looking forward to him running straight lines into McTominay / Neves / Bissouma / CDM Jones in the return fixture (he’ll skin Fred, obvs).
D James will push on now he's being managed by a professional manager.
He's been exposed to JLingz and Pogba for a fair while and not started referring to himself as DJay Mes-sy or some shite, so he must have a bit about him.
He's a one trick pony that will thrive under Bielsa but end up in the Championship in a few years.
Renato Sanches to Wolves on loan.
Atalanta securing Koopmeiners for €14m is pure moneyball.
Willian terminated his contract by mutual consent and gone back to Brazil.
Camavinga close to joining Real Madrid.
Wasn’t Jimmy the Greek called Djaymz on here for a while?
Speaking of, what is Brandon Williams playing at with this monogrammed chain ffs.![]()
It draws attention away from his lightbulb head.
Turns out that that's probably the best picture of him out there. And I thought Luke Shaw getting his teeth bleached was bad.
The matching burberry photo is quite something.
Still would.
Just wait until Taz catches a glimpse of wor Brandon’s ting.

Moise Kean gone on loan to Juve. He's had a weird old career so far hasn't he?
I wonder who's leaving. No bites for N'Dombele, Aurier or Doherty allegedly and they have too many players if he joins too.
Who on earth is Emerson Royal and how is he costing 'Dan James money'?
Was very good at Betis by all accounts but looked a bit shaky in his first few games this.
Is that the end of Tanganga?
I'm a twit
Aurier and / or Doherty. Tanganga is only playing there because they're both shite. He's a CB really.
Did the manager not like Doherty at Wolves or is he playing with a 4 now, which Doherty can't do?
He's played with a 4 so far, but Doherty has been terrible since he signed whatever the formation is.
Cavani to Barcelona looking like it might well happen.
That seems like a BAD idea.
I know this is some turnaround given I was on the "why the fuck have we signed Cavani?" boat last summer but trading him (who actually, y'know, runs and stuff) to sell a few Cronaldo shirts while he mooches about seems a poor trade.
Right, I'm not suggesting Ronaldo is going to come in and win us the league on his own, but some of the takes on him in this thread are a bit ridiculous.
He scored 101 goal in 134 games for an absolute dogshit Juventus team. 29 in 33 in the league last season. He's still a beast.
We should 100% be keeping Cavani though. Injury to Ronaldo or Greenwood and we've got one competent striker.
I'd be gutted to lose Cavani. I hope we keep him.
Looking like United aren't going to sanction it. Thank god.
There's got to be some cause and effect here. My Juve supporting mate tells me they ran basically everything through him even though he doesn't do any running about. He's obviously one of the best finishers in the world but are United not already alright in that department? Just feels like doubling down on the no tactics, just vibes schematic and it's hard to see how they achieve any sort of balance with it without pissing anyone important off.
I think (and yes, hope) it's going to go tits up tbh.
You literally think (and hope) everything United do will go tits up. You're like waff lite lately.
That Juve squad is just average beyond belief. 1 point from 2 games so far this season. Anyone thinking he was the thing holding them back is in for a rude awaking when they realise he was the only thing stopping them being mid-table.
He's basically a better version of Cavani, who would've started every game if he was 5 years younger. He's going to score 30+.
Look at the Utd rats all excited and deluded
Shame at least one of their two pen merchants are going to be found out.
Yeah I find it funny when United are shit but I like to think I'm measured when they do good things (they are clearly one of the best teams in the league when they get it right). Their decision making is just generally terrible compared to the clubs they would like to keep company with.
It's not really an average Juventus squad. It's the same core that has won the league forever (minus Pjanic, plus McKennie?). I don't have the one from last season but my friends at GoalImpact had them by far and away the best on squad strength in 19/20 and they piss on the rest of the league on TransferMarkt values. Also won the league on the ol xG last season.
