Just as I suspected. Forget about being in or out of the game. Forget about the current woman or your past conquests and go do some work on yourself. You'd be right in almost any other circumstance, but I do think this is the exception*. She lost her virginity to me, has never been with another guy, and I see her infrequently enough that I can convincingly fake it for short periods of time so she's none the wiser. In the meantime I'll lose the extra weight and become a baller lawyer, so by the time we're living together again I'll have some more firmly established confidence in myself. I also cheated on her so she's perpetually worried that she's not good enough which works in my favor. All in all, I'm optimistic.
