This masks outdoors stuff in forrin countries is baffling to me. If you think that's needed you're getting into culture wars territory.
My sister's in Melbourne and you can't leave the house without one.
Here you are only required to wear masks indoors, and outdoors if social distancing is impossible. Some people just get a bit too righteous.
Then again, their professors who are wearing face masks, face shields, latex gloves, and nurse scrubs to teach can't be helping.
Some are even trying to use disinfectant dispenser while wearing latex gloves, which apparently is causing them to malfunction.
I've spent about Ł15 in the past week on masks through forgetting to have one on me at various times or simply losing mine. At least I am giving Mohammed some financial support whilst killing the planet.
Mandatory on public transport here now. And "recommended" when going outside at certain alert levels.
As a bit of a minimalist, I hate having to carry the thing around and the whole process of putting it on and pulling it off again. Only had to do it twice so far, and it might just prevent me from ever leaving this apartment again.

I find putting a mask on is far more manageable if you take an appropriate pre-workout supplement and warm up properly.

BBC's live ticker thing. WHO have said not to draw conclusions from a single patient. They're right but if it does reinfect, it could be interesting to see what this is like second time around.
idk about "reinfect" but we def have had at least one patient here who was positive in may and is now back here admitted in august with it after once testing negative in between so.....

The Germans (on top of their shit as always, what a nation) are doing an experiment to determine how risky concerts are by recruiting a bunch of volunteers to a concert and trying three different types of measures, from normal pre-corona fearlessness and elbow touching to full-on mask+distancing. That's the kind of science we need to be doing more of.
Not sure anyone else is noting this but everyone I know who qualified for the business grants and now the bounce back loan seems to be spending it all on new cars and home improvements. Brian Lee Hitchens and his wife, Erin, had read claims online that the virus was fabricated, linked to 5G or similar to the flu.
The couple didn't follow health guidance or seek help when they fell ill in early May. Brian recovered but his 46-year-old wife became critically ill and died this month from heart problems linked to the virus.
