He was a total twat who almost completely wasted his immense talent, starting with disabling himself in the FA Cup final.
Had some good moments though, mostly involving jocks in one way or another.

I sort of took it for granted at the time (probably under the assumption we'd always have players like that), but it's ridiculous how comfortable on the ball was compared to any England player there's been since.
Mario Gotze will be leaving Dortmund on a free at the end of the season.
We've had plenty of comfortable on the ball players since. They just didn't get acres of space to piss about in against two banks of nineties rubbish.
I'd love for us to sign Kai Havertz.
He's absolutely quality.
Joe Cole's the last one I can remember being hailed a big natural talent. He had his moments but I never felt he could carry the game like Gazza.
Hasn't Havertz already signed for the Reich? I swear I read that he had.
Our takeover is apparently due to be dusted off next week, according to Amanda Staveley.
Grealish is the ticket. Southgate should build the side round him next summer. @Yevrah
I am with you on that, but he's the sort of player that English football is genetically destined to misuse. This is a nation that gave Jermaine Jenas 21 caps in the time of Lampard, Scholes, Gerrard, Beckham and Hargreaves. We don't do mercurial.
That Bremen goal was lovely.
Davy Klaassen with a beautiful long pass.
I love how eager Hakimi and Guerreiro are to attack.
Real managerial might on the benches. Kevin Ball vs Glenn Roeder.
That’s just not a penalty, is it.
First half of that derby was pretty tasty. We were shite and Sunderland were right up for it. They've got barely anything up front but Liam Lawrence was bossing it against Babayaro. Moore and Bramble look pretty good together.
EDIT: Gawd, these player interviews brought to you by Crptocurrency is ... insidious.

That did not look like it was done on purpose for me.
I love how comical Chopra's only league goal is for us. Wind assisted shambles.
Taz is correct. He’s not much of an upgrade at all. Chamberlain should be the third midfielders if anything.
Waff had a decent eye for talent when I left him in the community's less than capable hands but you may be right if his CHO posts are an indication.
Edit: I take that back. The eye remains.
Hudson-Odoi will play at a great level. Doing his Achilles in at 18 hasn’t helped his progress but he’ll be fine.
Reece James will be Ashley Cole levels though. What a plur
That James looks like he's got the physical abilities and a solid delivery, could be a Maicon regen if he isn't forced to cut in and play a 5-yarder to Mount/Barkley/Lampards's New Fave Brexit Toyboy.
True. It’s a sin they don’t have him on set pieces.
Frankfurt have offered absolutely nothing.
The pace of Alphonso Davies is something to behold. It looks like bad photoshopping half the time.
Mount is a class player, but one destined to boil people's piss due to his lack of alpha male vibes.
More importantly, England Spain about to start.
5 minutes to go in the 2006 FA Cup Final.
One more please Robert.
Hinteregger on fire.
2 corners, 2 goals.
Nice of Frankfurt to gift Bayern a goal after getting back into it.
The commentator just said that papers tomorrow might say "Lewandowski and Haaland both draw blanks" despite the fact that Lewandowski already has a goal in this game...
Djimi Traore-esque from Hinteregger there.
Jeez, that "offside" for Spain is awful.
Not even close to offside. Lineman's taken a bung.
The commentators in this England / Spain game keep banging on about McManaman despite the fact that if he's not hooking onto into the far post from the left hand side he's a bit poo.
I had forgot how bad Ron Atkinson was.
I've been enjoying Ron on co-commentary. Better than 99% of what you have to put up with now.
Pity he's a big old racialist.
