Praet also for Leicester
Praet also for Leicester
Can't believe I forgot Januzaj.
Belgium having not won something/everything with their current squad really is unforgivable. They're probably past their peak now, but what a team.
Erik Pieters
Jelle van Damme
Daniel van Buyton
That Luc Nilis injury still annoys me nearly 20 years later. He was such a player.
Bjorn Engels
It's like his leg is hugging. Awww.
I didn't even mean Jelle van Damme. Brain is mush. What I really meant was Anthony vanden Borre.
Marc Degryse
Gilles de Bilde
Genuinely awful injury. I'm sure that picture was splashed all over the back pages the next day.
Good job you said van Damme, as vanden Borre didn't manage a goal for Portsmouth.

Laurent Delorge. Could be wrong name but I'm looking for a big ugly giant at Huddersfield.
Name sounds more Coventry now I've typed it out.
Thomas Vermaelen got one for us for sure.
One of the Mpenzas ended up knocking in a few for Man City as well. Emile?
Leander Dedonkcer
Edit - already been said, missed it in the list.
Kevin Mirallas
Just 4 Belgians left to get, and here are the clubs they scored for:
15 - (Derby County)
4 - (Watford)
2 - (Swansea City)
1 - (Huddersfield Town)
I'm disappointed no one has already got the Belgian on 15 PL goals.
I know the guy. Big fucking lump circa 2000.
Kabasele
Branko Strupar!
Having just Googled it, the Huddersfield Town Belgian remaining is seriously hard to get.
I had high hopes for Delorge but he didn't even get a game in the PL for us, he was such a crock it took over two years for him to make a league debut by which point we'd gone down.
Roland Lamah for Swansea. He's shit, but like Montero, Dyer and the various other fast wingers that seemed to clutter up the Liberty in those years, he had one game a season where we was devastating.
As my best mate of that time (now ex-communicated), was a Cov fan, I share the inflated view of the talent all of these lot had. The hope that would spill out of him whenever they brought in the likes of Aloisi has totally tainted my view of that era of Cov players, to the extent that I have no idea how they weren't comfortably making the top 6 throughout the late 90s.
Also met Hadji and Chippo a few times as they were both (despite being married) carrying on with a lass I knew. Seemed alright.

Once upon a time I'd have stored that fella's name in my memory for having the cheek to deny us points but now I honestly couldn't have told you I'd ever seen his name, though I presumably have.
Next up - Denmark. There have also been 35 Danish players to have scored in the Premier League. Name them all.
Mikkel Beck
John Jensen
Peter Schmeichel
Daniel Agger
Brian Laudrup
Dennis Rommedahl
John Dahl Tomasson
Christian Eriksen
Nicklas Bendtner
Gronkjaer.
I'd also forgotten about Brian Laudrup being at Chelsea.
Aloisi was an odd one, we signed him while he was scoring for fun for Portsmouth and then immediately just left him on the bench, we did the same when we bought Mo Konjic from Champions League-level Monaco. The Gordon Strachan era was mostly ridiculous with the odd bit of sublime.
Claus Jensen
Martin Braithwaite
Thomas Gravesen
Poulson
Martin Laursen
Matias Jorgensen
Marcus Allback
Victor Fischer
Peter Lovenkrands.
