    Layer Cake

I thought it the first time and I think it now: It feels forced. I don't know why. Maybe because it's got a different vibe to Lock Stock and so on. A lot of the dialogue etc just doesn't feel natural to me, like it's trying too hard. It's a decent enough film and I enjoyed it, but yeah.

I had no idea Tom Hardy was in it too. Only a small part but there he is. The new Q is in it too. He's the bloke with the yellow range rover.

The Lion in Winter is another disappointing old film despite its reputation. Henry II, Prince Richard, Prince John and others manage to turn the Plantagenetkingdom into a fucking soap opera.

Jesus what a preposterous film. I have no tolerance for such idiotic plots and weak scripts. Fuck off. Not even a 'so shit it's good'.

Plucked for Les Mis in the end. A very good film, with a sterling lead performance.

In the cinema to see the Good Dinosaur and some parents have just walked in with a kid who has mental difficulties. He sounds like a mating diplodocus. It's been 20 minutes of this so hopefully he tires out soon but this only strengthens the argument for separate special needs screening or a ban altogether.

You're not getting your own screen just because you struggle around other people. Put your phone away and watch the film.

Yes, In The Heart of the Sea looks rubbish, but those are just the trailers Magic. The film will start in a minute. Settle down.

If your kid can't behave at a cinema they shouldn't be there. Spastic or not.

Why are you getting to the cinema twenty minutes before the film starts?

If you're texting in the theater then you're far worse than the kid.

I usually go about 15-30 minutes before the listed time.

I like to get comfortable, think about which of the people who already sitting down will be dickheads and watch the trailers.

Magic being a bigger shit than the person he's moaning about is a long established trend. The same applies to Mahow, so this is an interesting convergence.

I go 'late' to films quite often. Not much desire to watch twenty minutes of ads.

Not long at all but being early is part of that phase.

I absolutely hate being late, even on time is late for me. I get a little itchy and agitated when I am.

It's also partly down to being late to almost every film my Mum took me to when I was younger.

Black Mass is pretty good. It's nice to see Johnny Depp do a more normal role for a change, and he's excellent in as well. I completely forgot it was him for most of the film.

Because we left just from nursery. I also like to be there early (as in just as the adverts start). I hate walking in to a full cinema.

And we were the furthest back.

And I wasn't texting, I was posting, MATE.

Final revelation: it was the boy's sister. Shame like but why go to a non-autistic friendly screening?

I leave the house 5 minutes after the film is supposed to start. It gets me in my seat during the last couple of trailers.

I'm the total opposite, on and off as quick as possible. As a downside this sometime results in unfinished shits and a re-visit 10 minutes later or premature wipeage which means using half a bog roll to clean up the mess.

I thought it was woeful. Depp looked like an extra from twilight, Cumberbatch couldn't pull off the accent and all I kept thinking was how it pales in comparison to Mystic River and The Departed. There's also a whole host of unnecessary characters that add nothing to the film, Sarsgaard and Stoll to name a few.

I'm somewhere in between. I had high hopes for it, and it didn't meet them, but it wasn't quite "woeful". A 6.5/10 or so is probably fair.

Aye its worth it for Depp's work, he's superb. Hard for there to be unnecessary characters when its a true story.
