I don't think so. Certain scenes take hold at Certain times and people fall into them. You get early and late adopters. Emo being the obvious example, there were many emo's in their late teens, but there were also tween Emo's and tragic adult Emo's.

Those same people then went on to become hipsters, and it all seems to have died with them, because there doesn't seem to be any kind of counter-culture these days. You're either a normie, a woke left fucktard or a right wing conspiracy theory nut job.

I used to like Oasis but looking at their discography I seem to have completely gone off them as soon as they released Heathen Chemistry as I don't recognise a single thing they did after.

His voice is pretty good again now, to be fair. I saw him earlier this year on the Definitely Maybe tour and he was belting it out.

I mean it wasn't peak Oasis-era Liam Gallagher by any means but you're never going to get that again. It was a lot better than it was towards the end of the original Oasis run, put it that way.

I'm not a superfan or anything but I enjoyed their music in my youth and my wife wants to go, so I think I'll pay pretty much anything because we've been together over 10 years and never actually agreed on a gig we'd be willing to go to together, until this. She flat out refuses to go to trance events (my preference) and no amount of love can talk me into sulking my way through a Lizzo performance, so this is the one.

The thing that makes me bemused by the excitement for this reunion is that they already massively outstayed their welcome. With, say, the smiths, they did four great albums, existed for 5 years, then stopped. It makes perfect sense that the mythology of them would build subsequently, and people would get dead excited about them getting back together.

I'm not a fan of oasis really, but if they'd done definitely maybe and what's the story morning glory then split up I'd totally get it. But they did five more shit albums, then spent the last 15 years or so being old losers making shit music and being annoying on chat shows. They're fucking tragic.

I have almost no feelings towards Oasis beyond thinking about 5 of their songs are pretty good and I was briefly tempted when I heard the news. You're paying to be a part of the moment, there will be nothing there that you couldn't have got at a Noel/Liam solo gig.

Are the standing tickets, ie on the pitch at Wembley, the best tickets other than VIP stuff?

I'd seen 'from £85' mooted, which I guess would be in the gods, although you'd probably pay that to watch England shit it up against some no-hopers, so it didn't seem that unreasonable.

Wembley seating is £74.25-£206.25 so yes, depends entirely where you are prepared to sit. I'd be going for standing there.

My wife's parents bought tickets to see ABBA Voyage and they were over £100 a pop.

£100 to watch holograms. Oasis are missing a trick.

I couldn't pay that much to go to Wembley without at least seeing us lose another penalty shootout.
