The move to five was, as happened under Wenger, a consequence of having to play Kolasinac and AMN (Ox in Wengers time) at the back, the former is a charlatan completely unaware of anything not right in front him and the latter a box to box midfielder. Unai traditionally uses a 4 but has used 5 and likes his teams to change formation up between and during matches as a defining feature, so fuck knows, basically.
