You can still get carded for it I'm assuming, but it isn't a foul/penalty. It's sort of treated as an "away from the ball" incident of sorts.

Yeah I mean we are one of those teams that on their day can give trouble to anyone. Holland and France in the qualifiers are proof of that.

But our gameplan is a lot about outmuscling the opposition in defence and a team of A lot of technique (like mexico) can suffer but when there’s a bit more power to match us it gets hard I think.

In a way whats always been Englands classic ’problem’ - ’all speed and power but no finesse’ is what beats a team like sweden I think.

In the game against Germany they really struggled with Werner centrally, but when they moved him (their main pacey player) out wide to attack our fullbacks they started wearing us down.
