TBF Luke Shaw was starting to really look the part before his leg break. I actually thought he was starting to look decent again towards the end of the season. Mourinho clearly doesn't trust him at all though. I also believe Jimmy's assertion that he's stupendously thick, which doesn't help.

I'm surprised he's managed as many as two. Definitely played one under Bruce and was immediately dropped not to be seen again.

What is an "Emery" player actually? I mean apart from being a cunt here obviously. Or why are cunts perfect for Emery?
Basically, explain what you mean :)

On Fellaini - he seems like such a waste of a player - never really specialized in anything where he really should have. Everton wasted him by playing him like they did Tim Cahill, some sort of weird aeral attacking midfielder role.

He should have either turned a Jan Koller-like striker, or just focussed on becoming a powerhouse defensive watercarrier type midfielder. As things turned out, he doesn't really fit in anywhere. Seems good to have as a towering impact sub to chase a lead, that seems about it.

He's so, so good. Phenomenal with the ball but hasn't actually had a thought about the game since he was 15. All instinct. Shame. I'd love to watch him in a 5 a side in the old dutch cages though, I'm sure he's an absolute monster in that freestyle situation.

I still maintain Memphis would've thrived had Luke Shaw not had his leg destroyed in front of him. I really think that threw him all out of whack to be quite honest. He was never the same after that, like he started to think about everything too much instead of just playing football.

We have made profit in the market in the past 3 years if I remember rightly. It could be a case of finally whipping the cheque book out, FM style, after a few years of saving.

But it is more than likely someone will leave. There's still the likes of Markovic, Sturridge, Origi and Ings who are likely to be shifted on, but I don't see any of those players hitting double figures in a sale fee.

People will blame the owner being sanctioned out of the country, but in years gone by any one of the Politburo would have poisoned the manager in the Wembley tunnel, and there was always the 'Dressing Room' keeping things in line.
