Chelsea have signed this bloke
What we're really crying out for is a striker directly from Argentinian football. Those transfers always work out well.
Sane to Anfield? No thanks mate. Paying over the odds for teenagers wins you squiggle short term.
Sane looks genuinely brilliant, and if there's one nationality of player you won't go wrong with at the moment it's a German.

IT'S ON!!!!!!!!!
United would be better off offering £80m for Neymar.
Or Suarez.
I look forward to us chasing Ronaldo and then Bale and then Neymar and then Suarez all summer only to sign none of them.
What about £60m and Rooney?
You've done your maths wrong there, you mean £80m and Rooney, no?
Just imagine the loyalty bonus Rooney would be due if he was ever sold.
There's a Brighton fan on here isn't there? What would opportunities be like in their central midfield at the moment? I'm guessing by the league table that they're pretty strong all round.

Kayal and Stephens (the central midfield pairing) are pretty much the pivotal players in the side, then they have Ince (Hughton doesn't seem to fancy him as much other than as a game closer outer) and Crofts who I think has been playing there a bit. A few more too (Holla) although none are at the level of the first two. Up front is probably where they are weakest/have the least depth.
What kind of player is this Towell chap?
Central midfielder, plays fairly deep even though he scored 27 goals this season. Likes to arrive in the box late and hits everything first time. He's definitely the best performer the league here has seen in years though he is going to find it tough making a step up like that and even getting playing time I'd imagine. If he couldn't make it at Celtic or Hibs then he's going to find the top of the championship even a step up from that.
.
Yeah, I doubt he'd walk into the side, but, at the same time, I would imagine he'd get opportunities if he's good enough - Brighton suffer when either of their first choice central midfielders are unavailable.
Reg is the Brighton fan you're after, although I'm never sure if he's a Brighton fan with an interest in United or vice-versa.
Something something early bath.

lol if that happens.
United should say they were going to pay half a billion for him.
We've apparently signed Liam Bridcutt on loan. He can join his shitcunt team mate in doing absolutely fuck all. Looking forward to it.
@Sam, you're a Wolves fan right? What's van La Parra like? We've got him on loan for a month.
James Wilson has been loaned to Brighton. I'm not one of these wallies who think he should be starting, but it's not like United have a load of depth there.
All you need is Rooney.
I'm a twit
That could be a great signing, pretty chuffed with that.
Don't know what United are doing.
Was it Wilson who scored twice on his debut? Thought he was highly rated yet doesn't get a look in.
Yep! Van Gaal just likes Fellaini's head too much.
Better he gets game time rather than waste his time on the bench or reserves. Can't beat a bit of fellaini.
Splashing the monies on PONGOLLE and Demel

What a decline, ending beautifully at it's lowest point.
It's on again. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...hester-6920414
Wilson looked bright yesterday, although once he got himself into a great position he should have scored.
Fans were raving about him; other than Vicente and the return of Zamora, it's probably the most positive reception any new player has got for a long time.
He seems to have movement and pace and an eye for goal. Looked unlucky not to get one yesterday with the one of the post, Hope he improves so Pep can make him a superstar next season.
That's the chance I meant; I think he should have scored although haven't seen any replays. Looks quicker than when I've seen him on TV.
What would Pep do with Rooney, I wonder...
Execute him.
I think he probably should have but it was fractions.
Ronaldo back in England.
I'm a twit
Done anyway. He's already aiming for the 2016 Euro squad

Another window of hoping we keep hold of everyone. I'd try and sign Stekelenburg permanently and maybe loan a couple of our youngsters.
Tim Sherwood on recruitment is good. lol at 'expected goals'.
Missed this bit upthread. Brighton fan way above my casual United following. Have a season ticket most years (ended up getting three-quarter season tickets this time).
You summed up our centre midfield nicely by the way. I'm surprised it's worked out this way for Ince, under Oscar he looked like he'd be one of the first names on the teamsheet until a Premier League club came in for him. It's been no fault of his own though really, like you say Stephens and Kayal are so important.
Ha.You are always better off going for quality rather than quantity, added Sherwood, whose Villa signed 12 players in the summer, more than any other Premier League side.
Linked to Jese, will prob stall on wages.
I assume everyone will be fit for the whole month of Jan.
"The Daily Mirror claim this is because Rodgers is considering a lucrative deal in the Middle East, while South Wales Evening Post report that Rodgers feels it is too early to return to management, having been sacked in early October. The Times believe Rodgers has set his sights on replacing Roy Hodgson as England manager, and has thereby rejected Swansea’s advances."
You wot m8?
The Mirror, mate.
The Times, actually.
