I'd be surprised if every player in the league isn't repeatedly burgled once it's known where they live, especially in the north west which has a chunky population of pikeys and fellow, erm, travellers.
Apparently seriously wealthy people (high-profile ones presumably even more so) can't get any sort of home/personal insurance without properly good security to hide behind, whether it's those windows and doors that can withstand a severe pounding from would-be burglars or alarms or private guards or whatever, so I always figure footballers make good targets because they're more liable to be divvy bastards living in houses they buy/rent off each other and don't think to personalise.
