I fucking hate this bullshit.
I've just tried to track a parcel online on the computer, and instead it just pops up a QR code. Apparently I have to download the app on my phone and scan said QR code to get tracking info.
Fuck. Off.

lol Randrew what you drink-driving for.
I'm not sure who I'd rather be, in the event I was in his position: someone with this sort of life-ending bitterness, or one of those weirdos who forgives immediately.Addressing Keilloh, Miss Johnson's father Paul said: "Your naivety, negligence and arrogance along with your stupidity was the cause of our daughter's death."
He added: "My hatred of you is only equal to the love of my daughter, and these two things keep me alive.
"You will still have a life after this. We will not have that luxury.
"You have taken away both our futures by your selfish and irresponsible actions. I hope [Phoebe] haunts you for the rest of your miserable life.
"We will never show you any mercy, nor will we ever forgive you."
The forgiveness weirdos - or Christians to give them their proper name - are full of shit anyway. They're just as angry, they just internalise it with smug seethe.
If they're genuine with that, they should have just kept quiet, publicly forgiven him down the line and then offed him quietly when he's out.
Or go full Liam Neeson.
As in going full "Taken". Not hunting black people with a Cosh on the streets of Norn Iron.
If only he'd downloaded the app.
That would imply a drunk passenger could make that kind of judgement call.
The worst app thing is probably when sites try to make it as difficult as possible to use their mobile site, either by nerfing the features and/or constantly badgering you to use the app instead, then the app itself has barely any of the functionality of the mobile site from 5 years ago. Reddit is the absolute worst example of it. It's a site with interesting enough stuff to read, but I barely use it cus it's the kinda thing I'm only ever gonna look at when I'm having a shit/on a train etc, and it's fucking nads on a phone. The mobile site suggests you use their app every 5 seconds, arbritarily tells you you can't read certain subreddits, then if you use the app it's just fucking bollocks. You can't even select text to copy and paste, wtf lads.
I just use the desktop site on mobile.
Do us a favour and don't.
I don't mind the reddit app. There's a copy text option if you click the three dots on a post.
https://redditenhancementsuite.com/, and then use old.reddit.com
Why do they want you to download the app? Data mining, or justifying the well paid project manager jobs of people who made the app?
It's always data mining.
