Mbappe has turned down Saudi Arabia.
Mbappe has turned down Saudi Arabia.
Credit to turtleboy.
Joao Pedro looks something else for Brighton. Going from Maupay to no strikers was a positive move for a couple seasons but they've now got 2 strikers threatening to become elite and even Welbeck looks potent. Adingra looks like what Utd thought they were getting when they spent €25m rising to €40m on little Amad too.
Mbappe thinking a season at PSG is much different to a season in Saudi is lol. So very French
He's just rejected half Messi's career earnings for a year's work and the white man will still try and paint him as the scumbag.
Not to overreact or anything but Nicolas Jackson is Erling Haaland with a first touch
I agree with Taz about Joao Pedro. He looked really good for Watford but only in brief patches so I was a bit surprised at the fee Brighton paid. He clearly he just needed a half decent manager to unlock his potential. He bossed Chelsea.
Should be fine for at least the season opener then.
The Butcher doing his angry little man act with revkless challenges and Onana looking suspect. You fucking love to see it.
Taz watching United friendlies at 2am. Proper planet of the apes behaviour.
Keeks you can't get away with that mate, it was his debut in a friendly ffs.
I've got the phrase 'Proper Chels' trending in my twitter, owing to the fact that Action Jackson chased down a loose ball during a pre-season friendly against Newcastle. These guys need other sports and hobbies to follow in the summer.
Just saw Saka's penalty miss from earlier today. My god, contender for worse pen ever.
Kid on the train very firmly stating Michael Owen shouldn't have won the Ballon d'Or, which I reckon must have been at least a decade before this boy was born
Did he win it?
Yeah, he won it the year he scored the winner in the cup final/ Liverpool did that cup treble.
He’s also very wrong. Who should have won it then, Jaxon?
I'm a twit
Stephane Henchoz.
Imagine nominating Eric Carriere and not voting for him.
Back then it was 'European Footballer of the Year' and no one gave a fuck who won it.

Some truly superb goat herding action here. Particular fan of the pitchside gazebo, and people watching while sitting on the steps of a nearby leisure centre.
I love goat herder stadiums, there's a real beauty to them.
Looks a canny place for a kickabout. I felt the same when England had their last qualifier over there.
Hibs fans applaud their team's efforts, following a 2-1 win for the goat herders:
Imagine being in an area as beautiful as that and being that angry.
That would be a decent title for a study of the Irish in Scotland.

The geezer with one of the most ferocious shots in the game being such a humongous fanny is not a great look.
Elliot Anderson looks really sharp.
I think so. Our midfield looks packed but he'd probably jump ahead of Sean Longstaff in the pecking order. And the Champions' League will stretch the squad a bit.
Leicester should win the Championship with record points, looking at their team.
I'm a twit
Okay maybe not.

Yeah, on paper very good team but they were awful defensively that first half.
It's been said a thousand times before, but TAA's forward passing from the middle is incredible. Jota bang in form, which is nice and Salah learning to pass was nice to see.
Can't really read too much into form in pre-season. Remember Liverpool battering City in the glorified friendly and Haaland looking shite.
Was unaware this pre season friendly premier league thing was available to watch.
Been watching the second half of villa Brentford… unsure how there was five goals in the first half.
What a jinx that was.
Went to see Feyenoord vs. Benfica earlier in Rotterdam. Mostly full strength teams and finished 2-1 to the Dutch. Seemed more likely Benfica would win it at first but they kept fannying around rather than scoring, only to get sucker-punched twice in the space of about 15 mins. They got a late one back but didn't seem too fussed overall.
Was cool to see Mahow's BFF Di Maria in real life as well. Glad Utd didn't spend €70m on Ramos as he looked bobbins
The sooner referees are mic'd up the better. I know football's always been scared because it'll pick up player swearing but honestly, grow up - or just ban children from watching, the game is big enough without them.
They did it once and Tony Adams called the ref a, if I remember correctly, fucking blind cunt and they never did it again.
He called him a cheat.
