I reckon that Uruguay at going to strangle Giroud out of the game, but France will still sneak through. Uruguay have been ace in defence, and Giroud is an easy mark.
Giroud strangles himself out of games so far. The interesting point for me is to see how Mbappe performs against an actual defence.
Pitana seemed like a genuine "no nonsense" referee so I'm hopeful. He is south american though so you never know.
