If you are looking strictly from the perspective of getting the most accurate result, it is the best way to test kids afaik. It's probably easier than doing nasal/throat swabs too.
Probably true, but her suggestion was doing it on a mass/asymptomatic basis in order to find every covid case to eliminate it, which produces somewhat, erm, unfortunate images.
I've looked at it again, doesn't look like it's as straightforward as one being better than the other on the most recent research (seems each can be more useful in different circumstances).
