Two elderly Australians in an Queensland aged care home received excessive amounts of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday, 9News understands.
It is understood these two people received four times the amount they were intended to receive.
An 88-year-old man is in hospital while a 94-year-old-woman also received the extra dosage.
The doctor involved has been temporarily stood down from administering further vaccines.

I was talking to a mate who feels the same way last night, so I felt obliged to counter his view. Basically in the same way that roughly a year ago we looked absolutely fucked and it turned out we were, we're now in a position where everything looks close to ending and it will.
