Wasn’t positive after all

Painting figures I get. Applying real world war theory to a kitchen table, I don't.
Probably because that's not what it is, it's just a game like any other.
No it isn't. Tape measures are involved. TAPE MEASURES.
Lot's of games use paraphernalia or just measure distance with a board. Anyway, It's still not 'real world war theory'.
Spoken like a man that has never experienced the power of a left hook Pincer Moverment.
Horns of the Buffalo is where it's at.
The closest I've come to Warhammer in it's game form is vidja game (and FUMBBL) versions of Blood Bowl.
Actually was there a video game'd version of actual Warhammer tabletop strategy thing donkeys years ago? I've got a vague recollection of trying that and not understanding it. Probably on a cover demo disc () or something.
They never should have done away with them. I played a load of absolute shite on demo discs, but now I can download a demo of whatever I want and haven't played one in about 3 years.
I’m glad people (my in-laws) who know I like World Of Warcraft don’t presume I like Warhammer.
I'm a twit
I found out a friend of mine (might downgrade to acquaintance) still collects Pokemon cards the over day.
Thousands of pounds spent over 20 years.
The real question is how can he not have them all?
Because then he'd stop buying them.
Has he got shiny Charizard?
I'm a twit
Is there a line though with those things?
I like Harry Potter and Disney (well some of it) but I'm not one of those freaks that has posters, loads of merchandise and talks non-stop about them.
When was the last time you watched a Disney or Potter film not in the company of children/nephews and nieces etc?
About a month or so.
In the bin with you manchild.
I like some Disney films but there's not a chance I'd watch one if not for my kids.
I like the look of old Disney but I can't sit down and watch one now. It's like how my one anime exception is Akira. That film is fucking staggering to look at. Also, never got that into Star Wars.
I watched 1.5 Harry Potter films and decided they were shit.
Boydy you little slut, you passed that tweet off as your own post a while back, word for word. I'm not having that. Or am I? I'll reflect on this and get back with my thoughts. Open to discussion for the time being.
Careful. He's gonna thumb you.
Yeah, if it was the first 1.5 films then you did yourself a disservice, they do pick up, after the Chris Columbus Clusterfucks.
I recently re-watched some of them as my eldest daughter is sort of getting into them and they're ok for what they are. They probably hold up better than the Lord of the Rings and all that worthy shite, and I don't think there are any really painfully shit moments (Return of the Jedi parade/all that wank at the end of LotR) which is fair going for an epic saga.
And I never really liked Potter first time around (never read the books, watched the films under duress).
There's a line to be drawn between liking Disney, which, given now that they own everything is a bit of a tricky feelings kidney whichever way you slice it, and being one of those adults who queue up to meet the princesses at the theme parks, they need to be summarily executed.
Disneyland just looks like a nightmarish assault on the senses.
Harry Potter is a work of near-genius, with a really tight and engrossing story that - if you read it at a book a year - expands in intrigue and complexity and subjects touched upon as the reader goes through their own childhood (even if the protagonist is bit of a pain in the arse). Not sure I'd read it again now but I have fond memories of doing so the first time round, starting age 10 and finishing at 18 or whatever.
The films, meh, just money making stuff as usual.

It took me a second to realise what "non-consensual digital penetration" meant.
The kids (Benny) would call it a cheeky finger.
That is actually an awesome mistake what a sweet lady.

End of an era.
Isn't she a child in most of them?
And was a child for most of them.
She's 21 by the time the last film came out.
Y'know, portraying a schoolchild.
