At the deeper end he's probably right more often than not, but the cunt is too dumb to articulate anything.
Corporations doing their bits to save us from full kit wankers. Praise our woke overlords.
Someone reposted the "Ian Rush signs for Everton" cover of Shoot today and I had to check his wikipedia page.
I don't think football was ever better than when I used to rush down to WH Smith to get the new Shoot every week. Say, 1996-98, or the general 'what has David Beckham done now' era. I'd probably moved onto Four Four Two by 2000 and then, in my gauche early teen phase, World Soccer.
Such pleasures denied today's younglings who just watch some wam blam YouTube video by an influencer. Thanks for the thoughts grandad.
Official magazines never should've died out. Sometimes you want to know how an on-loan Argentinian is adapting to life on Tyneside. In print.
I have a troubled relationship with Magazines. On the one hand, I cracked out many a wank over a 30p Zoo/Nuts magazine. We never reached the peak of Sandmans Maddy prediction and I hold out some hope of a Shamima reboot, but it won't be the same.
And it won't be the same because it will either be the thickness of an Argos catalogue, 97% adverts or it will cost £6 a copy. Just as my son and daughters magazines did when I last agreed to buy them one, expecting them to cost a quid or two. Bastards.
I was a more of a Match man myself. IIRC it took more of a sideways look at the game which I enjoyed as an 8 year old.
