Heard good things and for 15m, not much of a gamble. Telles will be on the way out.
Does this bald nugget only want Dutch players?
I could get behind it if “Netherlands” were good, and their best player wasn’t completely unavailable. But they’re not, and VvD is going nowhere.
Also is Transfermarkt down?

Chelsea close to agreeing a fee around £55m for Raphinha with Leeds, as per Ornstein.
Has there always been this much buying and selling from PL teams to each other? Phillips, Richarlison, Sterling, Ake, Jesus and Zinchenko all potentially leaving to another club.
I’d have still taken a chance on Dembele even at the stupid wages but I doubt it happens if they’re buying Sterling and Raphinia
I can only assume you have tweet notications for tier one sources on and this page open at all times, given you recycle their tweets within an average of two minutes of them appearing.
Edit: at RL, obviously
The Chelsea bid for Raphinha has already been accepted.
Is he in a wheelchair now?
Leeds getting Emre Tezgel is tasty.

Fair enough, you must just time your refreshes well because the last few Arsenal bits I have seen hot off the presses you've already posted in here.
Not sure what Arsenal do instead of Raphinha. Bit weird that Romano etc are saying that Chelsea have only just sent stuff to Deco for agreement, my understanding is these days everyone is already tapped up good and proper before the clubs agree a fee, the fee is essentially the last part of a transfer.
Chelsea eyeing up Koulibaly.
They're doing serious bits replacing their shite. Spurs are threatening. This is shaping up nicely. Ain't even mentioned Utd absolutely doing Barca.
Neymar to Chelsea.
I'm a twit
Barca need to offload all their shite by the end of the month for FFP apparently so wouldn't be surprised if they hijack the Raphinha deal last minute.
After GAZUMPING Lyon for Malacia, it looks like United are going hard to GAZUMP Arsenal for Martinez.
Malacia, De Jong, Martinez and Eriksen would be a very good start to the rEbUiLd. We still desperately need a striker/forward, but given the ridiculous money Ajax want for Antony (and I expect they'll be even more reluctant to sell if Martinez does go) IDK who that's going to be.

When was the last time a player came straight from Netherlands and was a success?
Wijnaldum?
Probably, but a 15m euro backup left back is not a transfer I'm going to get too stressed about if it's not a roaring success.
For sure. Is Brandon Williams still knocking about on a bazzilion a year?
Yes. Ideally need to shift both him and Tellers but - as with all our deadwood - it will be difficult to find teams at their level who can pay their wages.
The fact we let a load of players go on frees this summer is at least reassuring that our policy of endlessly renewing contracts to 'maintain asset value' seems to have left the building along with Woodward, but its legacy will be hanging around for a while.
Hopefully so, not convinced by his height at centre half and as left back he would be back up to Tierney anyway. Hopefully the Raphinha and Martinez deals falling through mean we divert those funds to other targets. I think Raphinha is a great player but can't see any deal Arsenal had going not being contingent on a release clause for Barca.
All the Spanish journalists are bullshit merchants, but some of the less bad ones reckon Barca have already made a "farewell video" for Frenkie De Jong
“Somebody told me once that Tuchel and Lukaku were chatting watching a Spurs match, Tuchel then said “There’s your daddy” about Antonio Conte as a joke, it did not go down well with Lukaku. (@NizaarKinsella)
I really hope thats true.
I'm amazed people said Tuchel was unpopular with people.
Richarlison appears to be going to Tottenham for £60m. Which seems like...quite a lot.
If we're relying on the German sense of humour as a man management technique then we're probably struggling.
Because I'm so switched off from all this stuff in the summer, I'd completely missed Toni Rüdiger actually leaving, complete with Hala Madrid tweets and everything. Gutting.
Lenglet on loan to Tottenham
Tottenham are getting third/maybe second this year unless matey implodes at some point.
Lad, it's Tottenham.
Second is only on the cards if Liverpool go to shit or Haaland is actually rubbish, both possible although unlikely. Man for man you'd have about two of the new and improved spuds in either of those teams, and they're not the new and improved players.
Even if Haaland is shit City are finishing top two surely.
Ake rumoured to Chelsea for 40m.
Everton not being absolute done?
West Ham trying to sign Danjuma for 45m euros.
How phonics talks to black people.
Jordi Amat (of Swansea, Espanyol fame) as joined Johor Darul Ta'zim. Slightly controversial as he applied for Indonesian citizenship (through his granny) so everyone got excited, only to then join JDT as an ASEAN quota player
Top trolling.
They had Espírito Santo in charge for the first 3 months and were in 9th when Conte took over. Plus they’ve signed Perisic and Bissouma so far and are in for Richarlison. Spurs are challenging for Chelsea’s spot this year.
Meanwhile Gnabry to Liverpool would be pretty good.

Shame we're not in for De Ligt. I guess we don't have the budget.
Nah, you've got Harry Maguire and Phil Jones. What monster could force their way into that pairing?
Also have Varane, Lindelof and Bailly. Plus Tuanzebe if he comes back. It's well stocked (albeit questionable in quality)
If Maguire is starting then that makes the ones that aren't more than questionable.
I do as well but if we don't, I can't see them adding until it happens. I think most of them will improve next season (hard not to after this year).
