Fair enough, that's the least controversial approach anyway.

I think we need some sort of gentlemen's agreement that none of you will be fannies and say we can't cash out for anything less than say, a 20x gain.

Who is all in? Can we have a list (sorted by penis size of course)?

The non-binaries like Shinners and Mahow are out anyway so #teamwealthy has every chance of huge gainz.

Unless I've grossly misunderstood how this works, it won't impact those at all who're left in if someone pulls out.

Of course it will for the next gamble? Especially if that £100 becomes £5,000,000.

I thought more capital resulted in less risk because you can spread it better whilst not compromising on potential gains?

If one guy pulls out his £25 then no biggie but if a dozen got cold feet then it might make things more difficult for Mellin.

I would imagine that the operating hypothesis would be that once people were thinking about taking their money out then the whole pot should have grown to sufficient size of offset the 'loss'.

    Until Mellin gates it.

But we're sharing it. If someone pulls out the pot is smaller, but those in will be getting a bigger % of it.

Shouldn't someone at least know Mellin's address, in case he decides to not pay us our millions? We can then take turns on the van tailing his every move.

The way to look at it is what is my investment now worth as I'm getting 60% of that. What anyone else has left in, bar Mellin (as he's doing the work) is surely irrelevant.

I want to cash out in the sweet spot. Not too early that I don’t get a reasonable return on the investment but not too large of a profit that I have to explain to my wife why stranger off a computer game forum is depositing 6 figure sums into my account.

Probably joint account and/or fear of some sort of homosexual/paedophile ring.

It's a bit close to the bone so I left it until now, but some of the comments have been quite intriguing if they weren't jokes. Seems all forms of fun are no longer permitted once that ring goes on.

I'm in a slightly distant position on this on a number of levels, but the number of my friends who say things like 'Sounds good, just going to run it past the ball and chain' when you suggest a pint in 3 months' time is slightly weird. What are these women doing/saying behind closed doors?

Ah, "the pass". It's the price you pay to avoid being lonely I'm afraid. I've never subscribed to it, which is probably partly why I'm single at this age - it's a powerful and non-negotiable force.

Amazing that our BANTER does not attract anyone anymore (apart from Ben), but offer the possibility of great riches and everyone comes out of the woodwork.

I imagine everyone is joking. You'd have to marry a right weirdo for them to object to you becoming a millionaire.

That said, would I bollocks not take all the credit for myself. Not just my wife either. I'd have everyone thinking I'm the next Cathie Wood.

It's probably so they can maintain control. These will be the same people that don't let their wives go out, or discourage it unless it's with them. Can't be abusing that or taking the piss so a request here and there maintains equilibrium.

Or they just don't know if they have plans off the top of their head? Nah. What am I saying. Must be abusers.

I run it by her because I have no fucking clue whether I've already committed to something else. She on the other hand is not an overgrown manchild and has some kind of handle on both our schedules.

In which case 'I'll check if I'm busy that day' would be an appropriate response, rather than 'I'll ask my female overlord lol for permission'.

It's never 'my wife' that gets asked either, always 'the ball and chain', 'the missus', 'the boss' or 'she who must be obeyed'.

It's just basic courtesy which is why it is so anathema to some, or, more likely, said in jest [notwithstanding many a true word said in etc].

Some people do get hosed on their return home every night though, so there is always the married a maniac angle.

I presume people who say those sorts of things are just joking
