Neither that nor Luiz should be red cards but the law means it has to be given.

Like most, I don't think it's a penalty but maybe he's brushed him in real time but it definitely isn't a fucking red card.
United vs Liverpool is the actual title race. Nobody cares if City win the league.
Did my man just get a yellow for delaying kick-off?
This is beyond farcical.
Another GC for Fernandes.
When will people stop talking about Southampton losing 9-0 to Man U?
It worked out fine the last time Saints conceded 9.
Rubbing it right in.
:d
I'm a twit
That's probably cost Ralph a chance at a top job.
Pathetic, the board has backed every manager other than Ralph when needed.
We are clearly desperate for midfield and defensive cover and the board bring in a winger on a last minute whim. It really is a complete joke.
The only senior outfield player on our bench was Redmond and we started with two 18 year olds. Even if they wanted to shore things up we couldn't have done anything.
Ings, Bertrand, JWP and Ralph will all leave in the summer.

I have coveted Ward-Prowse for ages, which probably means he'll go to West Ham and fizzle out.
He's always looked a player with the necessary technique to make it at the top, but perhaps without the oh so critical ability to relentlessly run all day.
That's nothing a bit of 'nutrition' won't solve.
Bugger, we're playing them next.
Before KO, I didn't understand why Redmond was benched in favour of playing him wide and Armstrong in the middle so I would be willing to replace Ralph if assurances can be made that I would have the required control over transfers and that I would be allowed to discard Ings in favour of building an attack around Dan N'lundulu.
JWP is David Beckham of the modern era.

I'll be fucked if I'm reading an article with 'My style has changed dramatically. It’s more mature and comfort-focused today' written seriously but this is good:
Alisson injured? Fucking hell
Lingard and Fredericks in the wide attacking berths. And there's me waiting for Antonio's hammy's to pop before they plummet.
Allison is as much of an embarrassment as Matip. How does a goalkeeper get injured so often
It's an illness apparently (COVID?). Kelleher seems solid enough to not shit ourselves as badly as before.
That's up there with the worst halves of football I've ever seen.
Hopefully "JLingz" will fall down a well, or something.
The twat.
Not to sound like a nutter but has the PGMOL come out with a statement justifying the red card/penalty decisions from yesterday that directly contravene their rules?
We’re good at jinxing on this forum
Where's the jinx?
Thanks to Liverpool for distracting from how completely shit we were tonight.
Agent lingard working for Wee Davie. We're back.
I can stomach a City pumping as domestically the season is over and we'll get top 4 no trouble. We'l probably beat the shit out of them given their style. Thankfully the Leipzig 2nd leg is after 8 March so saunas will hopefully be open as my mental health won't be able to take a defeat in that tie under lockdown.
A lot of strange decisions tonight. We already know about the square pegs in round holes at the back, but playing the workman midfield against a team you know are going to sit back is daft.
That might be the best I’ve ever seen us play.
I think that's one of the more depressing sentences I've ever read..
niko's anti-Potter regime crumbling. :')
Is Sunday a title decider?
Eat your fucking heart out Taz, you rat.
Not really, although the last two results clearly keep him in work for a while longer. maybe he'll get another 5 year contract and we can look forward to no wins for the rest of the year again.
It was more the sentiment about the game than the result I was mocking anyway.
Son, did I ever tell you about the time we beat the Champions?
No pops, was it a good game? Did you get to go?
Well, no, it was during the great pandemic.
Oh, was it exciting?
Well son, you've never seen such a compact performance, our shape was outstanding, completely dominated . . .
What was the score?
1-0.
Was it a good goal?
Well, Steven Alzate shinned it in.
Steven who?
Son!
Only to the extent that United need Liverpool (and then Spurs) to reel City in. Recent results perhaps not encouraging on that front, although Liverpool do see to be back to early Klopp days of being good against the decent sides and pretty hopeless against the dross so who know.
I'm a strong advocate for expected assists.
I find the 'Europe's top five leagues' more annoying than the expected assists. What they mean is 'the five European leagues for which we can be bothered to collect stats'.
Grealish has a higher xA with less minutes played. And Jahanbakhsh has the highest xA90
Come and have a lick of my ballbag, lad.
Everton are running away with the chancers title. A whole 10 points ahead of XG.
