I had 89 packs to open as ive had duplicate neymar for weeks. Finally decided to do Nkunku and i managed to pack No trophy Del P and Lahm. Along the way, i did Keane and made over 300k along the way from selling tradeables. I may collect packs for 30 days, and then do one day of clearing. It just feels better that way
It's probably a decent way of also ensuring you don't waste cards on random SBCs as well. Half the time I end up chucking an 85 squad into some card who sits on my bench for a month then gets put into something else. People who have played this year, what's the verdict now the dust has settled on the new chemistry system?
I check in now and then to see what's going on in the game and it seems like they've done a good job allowing people to get a good team if they want to grind for it. However your very top players still seem as out of reach as ever.
Pros:
- Doesn't need proximity of players to work
- No penalty for less chem (zero = base stats)
Cons:
- Icons are basically pointless now (for chemistry purposes)
- Lack of managers in the game from obscure nations means it's really difficult to link in players like Davies or Salah without committing to club links
Overall I think it's mostly better than before, as having to have little triangles or players for chem was far more limiting, but it'd be so much better if they fixed the issues above

They're clearly trying to bin this game off as quickly as possible so they can kill the FIFA brand and move everyone onto the new iteration as quickly as possible, but those season rewards are genuinely what they should be like all the time, without the objectives to achieve them getting any harder.
Apparently the new one is coming out earlier so makes sense.
Also TOTS cards are already in packs. So thats nice.

They usually leave room to release the monster 97+ rated of everyone during the July/August months so everyone can have one big splurge before the new game.

I did the lower half of Havertz to keep fodder moving along as Nick (RTFM) seemed to be really enjoying him. Thats less than ideal.

To be fair to Havertz I only used him in the TOTS Cup thing and he didn't have to do much as I only played a couple of games. Casemiro was mega though.

'23 is out on Gamepass in 5 days, so I may well install this on the PC and see if I can hook my PS5 controller up to play it. I'll likely get bored/annoyed at how far behind I am, but it might keep me entertained for a little while.

I've never played on PC before though I have been watching Nick28T who does. I'm not fond of him personally but appreciate he doesn't put money in like I like to play.
I remember him being something like 11 win-14 win type of WL finish player when he was on console but he went 19-1 last week with not the best team. Obviously there's likely to be more hacking type BS, but I'm not into taking it seriously.
I've never actually played a FUT cycle from the very beginning, I always tend to come in at varying degrees of lateness. I just want to get a feel for how it all works now before trying to smash the next version.
Yeah the hacking is probably the worst bit.
The player pick at level 20 seems a bit broken. Throwing out constant Son and Rodrygo with Varane quite popular too.
I had the choice between Son and Rodrygo (Odegaard the other).
