I'm not normally a conspiracy theorist about this kind of thing, but I've had a deeply uneasy feeling about refereeing decisions in this game.
Spain are deeply uninspiring. They must be up there with biggest 10-year regressions in terms of players, but I'm sure this board would generate other candidates.

For the hope of some entertainment I guess you'd want it to be Italy and Switzerland 1-0 up at half time so Wales and the Swiss are both trying to win a goal difference battle in their respective games and having to attack but a) fuck Switzerland qualifying, the less games from in tournaments the better and b) lol at the idea of them pushing for goals.
Turkey need to win about 3-0 minimum so I can't imagine there not being goals in that one.

Wales are kinda fine with losing 1-0. For them to even drop third in their group they need a 5 goal swing between them and Switzerland.
Also 4 points with positive goal difference is a guaranteed qualification, as groups C and E will have the third place at 4 points with a GD of 0 as best case scenario.

I see. I think realistically I'd expect the Belgium group and the Spain group to have a third place team at 3 points so 4 points still make it.
Be funny if Wales get scudded but 4 or more goals and miss out. Doubtful though. Turkey game should be full of goals even though Switzerland are involved, Turkey need to score loads to have a hint of a chance and Switzerland need to win by 2 or more to basically guarantee going through top 3.
